Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ A Trip to DBZ ❯ Training ( Chapter 8 )

In a desert, in the middle of nowhere, five figures stand. Goku is stretching, so is Amy. Nicole is sitting on a rock admiring the view of Goku.

A- Come on! Let's get started already. (raises fists and looks at Gohan)Come on, Gohan. Let's spar.

Gohan doesn't know what to do.

Gohan- Is it ok to fight a girl, Dad?

Amy lets out an exasperated sigh and walks over to Nicole.

A- Hey Nicoldum! Let's fight!

Nicole doesn't seem to hear her. Amy taps her on the head.

A- Hel-lo? (sighs and sweatdrops)Hey, Piccolo! You wanna start now?

Piccolo- Alright.

A- Yay! Hey! Can you teach me how to do the special beam cannon and the split form and regrow a body part and to blow up the moon and the masenko-ha and to lift pyramids with my mind and to zap new outfits?

Piccolo stares at her with his mouth gaping. So do Goku and Gohan. Nicole just laughs and says

N- me too! Me too!

Piccolo- How do you know about all of my techniques?

A- eh. I have many skills. Now let's go!

She advances on Piccolo and they start to fight. They are equally matched in hand-to-hand combat, until Piccolo powers up a fist and hits Amy in the face. Nicole laughs as Amy stumbles backwards. She turns to Nicole with a look-of-death that would rival Heero Yuy's.

N- eep!

She then shuts up.

A- Piccolo, how'd you power up your fist so quickly?

Piccolo is surprised by the question. He isn't used to being asked questions during training.

Piccolo- I'm sure you'll figure it out.

He then removes his cape and turban. They fall to the ground with a *THUMP.* Nicole stands up and grins.

N- Can you zap me a cape, Piccolo?

Piccolo turns to her, then looks at Amy.

A- (smiling)I think you should Piccolo. (quietly)It would keep her quiet for a while.

Piccolo gives a small smile and then zaps Nicole a cape like his.

N- Ya---umph!

She falls under the weight of the shoulder pads and can't get up. Amy starts laughing uncontrolably. As does Goku.

N- GOKU! Don't laugh! HELP ME!!

This causes Amy to laugh harder. She then turns to Piccolo and shoots her eye lasers at him, hitting his stomach. Piccolo flies up and Amy follows. They start battling all over the sky. Gohan and Goku walk over to Nicole and remove the cape. Nicole pants while she gets up.

N- I can breathe again.

She then smacks Goku's arm.

Goku- OW! What was that for?

N- that was for laughing at me.

Goku- Gosh, Nicole. I'm sorry.

He puts his arm around her and she looks up at him.

N- K.

Gohan- Wow.

Goku- What is it, Gohan.

Gohan- Look at those two go. It looks like they're gonna kill each other.

N- Ok Goku. Train me.

Goku starts and looks at Nicole.

Goku- Y-you want me to train you?

N- uh-huh.

Goku- ok. ready?

Nicole nods and before she finishes Goku punches her in the stomach, sending her sprawling to the ground.

N- Owwwwwwwwwyyyyyyyyy!!!

Goku stares at her, dumbfounded. Amy momentarily looks away from Piccolo and looks at Nicole. She starts laughing and Piccolo seizes the opportunity to attack with an energy blast, but Amy dodges it and keeps laughing at Nicole.

N- stop laughing at ME! It h---it doesn't hurt.

Amy continues to laugh and gestures at Piccolo to "cease fire" as she floats to the ground.

A- hey Piccolo, you should train Nicole. Her power level is pretty high and I bet you could help her control it better than Goku (looks at Goku)no offense, but you'd be too easy on her. I mean you just rushed to her aid when you started.....

Goku- Yeah, I guess you're right. So what do you think Piccolo?

Piccolo- I'll train her, *if* she can keep up with me.

N- Yay! I'm gonna train with Piccolsan, dai dai dai. (repeats, repeats, repeats, starts dancing around)

A- Piccolo-san! Have fun!

She turns to leave.

Gohan- Where are you going, Amy?

A- I don't know.

She flies away.

N- ok. (turns to Goku)Piccolo's gonna train me!

Goku- Yeah. Well, you wanna get started Gohan?

Gohan- okay.

They start thier training and Nicole looks up at Piccolo.

N- Let me guess, If I'm not eating or sleeping I'll be sparring with you, right?

Piccolo- Well, if that's what you want....

He then picks up her cape and puts it on her.

Piccolo- but first you have to be able to walk with this on.

N- (from the ground, under the cape)K.

Tien and Chioutzu are flying towards Goku and the others when a figure enclosed in a blue energy stops in front of them. They both stop.

A- Hi three-eyes! Hi little china-doll-type-prince-thing.

She then flies past them and leaves.

Chioutzu- Do you know who that was?

Tien- I think I've seen her somewhere before. Let's go ask Goku.

They fly towards Goku and land. Goku and Gohan stop training and walk over to them.

Goku- Hey! Tien, Chioutzu! What's up?

Tien- Hey Goku, Gohan. We just ran into some girl---

Goku- Oh, that would've been Amy.

Chioutzu notices a cape moving around behind Goku.

Chioutzu- What's that behind you Goku?

Goku turns around to look.

Goku- Oh, that's Nicole. She's training with Piccolo. Hey Nicole! Come here and meet Tien and Chioutzu!

N- (muffled from under cape)third eye......doll-boy...mmph....

Goku and Gohan sweatdrop.

Goku- um, she'll be along later.

Tien- (slowly)ok. So, where'd they come from and

Tien stops as Piccolo comes to join their group.

Piccolo- They're the two we found on Kame's.

Tien- That's what I thought.

Goku- (looks from Piccolo to Tien and back)You've met them before?

Piccolo- No. They materialized there while you and Gohan were in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, then they disappeared.

Goku- Oh.

A- (singing)And it's just like the ocean under the moon and it's the same as the emotion that I get from you....Cut my life into pieces(note: refers to the amv to this song, it's really cool! so if you haven't seen it, go find it!)......(stops singing)ok. I guess he's around here.....YAY!

Amy stops and turns around to face the power level and the song-changer.

A- TRUNKS!

She flies over to him.

Trunks- /Wha--? Who's that?/

Amy stops in front of him.

A- Hi! (smiling big)Whatchya doin'?

Trunks- I, uh.....do I know you?

A- No, silly.

She pokes him in the shoulder. Trunks sweatdrops.

A- Well...?

Trunks- What?

A- Whatchya *doin'?*

Trunks- I was, uh, *who* are you?

A- (sighing)I'm Amy. Now, Whatchya doin'?

Trunks- I'm, looking for someone....I'm Trunks.

A- Yeah. I know. So, are you looking for Goku, Gohan, Tien, Piccolo, Chioutzu, or Vegeta?

Trunks starts.

Trunks- Do you know all of them?

A- Yes. (points to where she just came from)Goku, Gohan, Tien, Chioutzu, and Piccolo are that way. And.....I think......(closes eyes and concentrates) Vegeta's...... over.......(points behind Trunks) there!

Trunks stares at her, dumbfounded. He notices her outfit.

Trunks- Are you training under Master Roshi?

A- Neh. I'm training myself right now, but I'm gonna try and get Vegeta to train me which is gonna be a little hard because he's a little pissed at me because I'm strong and that I was spying on him, but I wasn't spying on him, and I tried to give him a senzu bean but he wouldn't take it and--oh well. So, what brings you to the past?

Trunks still stares at her, trying to figure her out.

Trunks- How'd you...well I'm here to see Goku about....something.

A- k. (turns to leave) See ya.

Trunks- /What the hell was *that* all about..../

A- Cut my life into pieces. This is my last resort. /I wonder how Trunks will like Nicoldum..../

She flies down into some trees and comes to a rocky clearing.

A- /I'm gonna blow up some rocks!/

She lands and walks up to a big rock.

A- /hmmmmmm....what to use...aha!/

She places her first two fingers together at her forehead and concentrates her energy.

A- Special beam cannon. FIRE!

A yellow energy blast with another one circling it erupts from her fingers and drills a hole through the rock, then it explodes. A- Ay yai yai yai yai....(note: Xena yell)

She stops abruptly and eyes a large mountain-type rock.

A- Hey Vegeta. Wanna see the rock I blew up?

Vegeta scowls and flies over to Amy.

boof

N- eh. eh. eh. eh. eh. I. Can. Walk.

She is crawling underneath her cape towards Goku and the others.

--------PING--------

N- Owwwwwwwwyyyyy! Who's that? They hurt.

Trunks lands by the group.

Gohan- Trunks!

He runs up to Trunks and smiles at him.

Trunks- Hey, Gohan.

They walk over to the others.

Goku- Hey Trunks! What brings you here? Wow, you've gotten strong!

Trunks- (embarrassed) uh, yeah. I've been training real hard.

Piccolo- I'm sure this isn't a social call, so what's wrong Trunks?

Trunks- Well----

Nicole rolls out from under her cape and leaps up and bounds over to the group and glomps Trunks. Everyone except Nicole sweatdrops.

N- Hi Tr(rolls "r")unks-uh!

She releases him and steps back.

N- Can I see your sword?

Trunks' mouth drops open and he looks to Goku for help.

Goku- uhh, Nicole, why don't you go get your cape back on...

N- But it's heavy...alright.
