Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Advent Children ❯ Unspeakable ( Chapter 1 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Author's note: Well here's the first chapter, not much to say about it yet since the story's still taking its first steps. I appreciate all the feedback I got and will also in the future. Credits to the woman for insipiration for the Majin scene. As for any possible and also very likely typos - I'm too lazy to look for them with my schedule, so deal with it or don't read it. And just so you know, Vegeta has his tail in this fic simply because I think a saiyan deserves and should have one. Enough said.
Pride, Honor, Power.

Chapter One - Unspeakable

"You...finally did it." her voice finally came out, though strained and low. Her blue eyes were glittering with unshed tears as she held them back, not allowing him to see her pain. "You killed Goku."

He was suddenly halted by her words, hearing her voice crack slightly, though she didn't allow herself to show her weakness. Eventually he spoke with a passive tone. "Don't act so surprised woman." He glanced at his mate over his shoulder, his eyes still narrowed as they met hers. "You knew my intentions from day one..."

She heard the hollow of his voice. A tone that bothered her deeply, even more than when they first met. "Yes.... I did." She shifted her eyes to Goku that lied lifeless on the ground, his body beaten and bloody, and then back to Vegeta. "Are you whole now?"

"What do you care?" he sneered at her words, shifting his eyes away. "Defeating Kakarrot was something you could never comprehend anyway. The fool's your friend and he's my enemy. He stole everything from me..." he growled low as every humiliating memory surfaced. Clenching his fists blood trickled between his fingers and his Ki flared as he stared at his nemesis. "It is my right to claim it back."

"He didnt steal everything!" she snapped.

Before she could blink though, he suddenly whirled around with a snarl, smashing her against a rocky wall and his hand tightened around her throat. His eyes burned with hatred as his lips curled up to reveal his canines. "And what do you know of it woman?" he hissed. "You know nothing! You could never understand... not someone like you. Comfy and happy all her life, bathing in love and security." he sneered. "I've walked to hell and back all my life and despite all my efforts, no matter how much I've pushed myself only to see it come to ruin and end in failure. Then to make my humiliation complete, a third class fool comes and surpasses me in power. Me! The Prince of the Saiyans! The one who was to be the Legendary and avenge my dead people!" he growled more audibly, his eyes flaring with hell's fires. "He stole my honor. He stole my destiny." he snarled with venom in his voice. "He even tried to steal my pride..."

As she hit the wall, complete terror struck her as she felt his hand is around her throat. As she looked into his eyes she realized the person behind them was a stranger. His words echoed thru her ears and broke part of her heart for though she knew Vegeta's life had been hell, she could never know the true extend of the nightmares he'd faced, the demons he'd battled and to this day still did. Emotions raged thru her trembling body as she battled between fear, and reaching out to him, and also... ripping into him for forgetting what she thought was important to him. His family... her... the one thing Goku could never steal away. Her eyes focused up to the M on his forehead and then back to his eyes as she watched him in confusion. "What's happened to you Vegeta?"

As their eyelock went on, he didn't even blink but merely stared deep into her azure eyes. So different from his own. No clue of the true horrors of life in their depths. No pain or death. As she broke the silence that had fallen upon them, his eyes narrowed in suspicion at her question, not quite sure what to tell her. Unconsciously he lightened his hold on her.

"I evolved..." he spoke lowly. "I accepted the wizard's gift, banished him from my mind and stepped into the world of supremecy." a malicious grin crept on his lips as he thought back to that very moment. How good and purifying had that dark aura actually felt wrapped around his tainted soul again. Flowing so easily and dwelling within, giving him that relentless freedom and dark pleasure that the newfound bloodlust brought his spirit. The spirit of not just a warrior but a killer that withered all these years of peace and domestic life. So familiar...something he'd almost lost without even realizing it and what was more frightening, not mourning that dark piece of himself as he'd always thought he would.

She however averted her gaze from him. Her voice stayed quiet and reserved. "No... you had evolved... before." her blue orbs looked back up at him, an accusing and sad gleam shining in their crystal depths. "...but thats all gone now."

He narrowed eyes at her words, still holding her there against the rocky wall. "Lost?" he hissed. "Hardly woman..." he leaned closer, once again that sickening smile forming on his wicked lips. "My strength is more than you can possibly imagine now..." he whispered, licking her earlobe like a snake that hisses of sinful pleasures as a soft growl escaped him. "Nothing's lost to me..."

His last sentence struck into her heart deeper than any pain she ever felt. How could he not see? Worse, how could he no longer care? And it was so obvious he no longer did. His power, it was always important, but was that truly all he needed? Everything felt like a lie. Their whole life together...a lie. The whole time he was just waiting for this moment. Nothing more. How was that possible? But she couldn't deny the void in his eyes or the tone of his voice. She shifted her eyes to him once more, her own pulling away from him now, slipping into a place of protection. "You've lost more than you will ever know."

"Is that so woman?" he released her suddenly, instead pressing his palm flat against the rock. "And do tell me just what is it that I've lost?" he snorted. "I'm stronger than ever. Nothing will stand in my way now. Not even Kakarrot..."

"You're right. Nothing will...you have the universe at your fingertips. But you'll be alone. You're losing the person that cared for you more than anyone in the universe. The person that risked everything to be with you. The only person who loved you unconditionally." she stopped for a moment, facing his gaze without fear or shame "...even now, still loves you. No, I'm wrong." she corrected. "There are two of us Vegeta. Two of us who would stand by you even thru the fires of hell..." her voice dropped to but a whisper. "If only you would let us." Then much to his surprise, a gleam of defiance shone in her sapphire eyes. "But if power is all you seek, then we truly are lost to you."

"Don't tell me that woman!" he snapped without warning, his fist cracking the stony wall next to her face. "You wanted me to change into someone I never was! You wanted me to become a weak fool like Kakarrot! Settle down and let everyone see what a pathetic weakling the Prince of the Saiyans had become!" he snarled like a wounded wolf. "Well I am not weak! I refuse to be controlled! I've gone thru too much to throw it all away now. You wanted me to live like a human...well I am not woman." he growled low as his eyes narrowed to slits. "I'm a saiyan. The Prince of my people, and so I will also live."

"You're so wrong” she shook her head. “That may be how you saw things, but that was not how it was. I never asked you to change. Never. I even helped you get stronger. I did everything I could to support you, to be there for you. I watched you grow and evolve. You never got weaker or controlled. If that's the way you see things..." this time it was her turn to glare at him. "Then get another mirror Vegeta."

Growling low he pressed his body against her, trapping her against the wall and his hard body. "Really?" He drew in a breath of her scent, growling into her ear. "Then what is it that you want from me? Now that you know my true nature, which you've tried to deny all along, hm? Are you going to follow me on my quest for world domination?" his breath brushed against her ear as he chuckled lightly. "Somehow I doubt that."

As his questions and breath hit her ear she looked away from him. Knowing all along that he had a dark side she never turned and left the faith in him she had. But it was true. She couldn't follow him around the universe watching him slaughter for control and power. She just couldn't. It went against everything that she believed, yet... so did falling in love with him. Against all odds, nearly a decade ago she'd made a deal with the devil and what she'd never thought possible, right this moment she was coming face to face with the reality of her decision. She couldn't let go...

Feeling so lost right now she just couldn't look at him.

"Nothing to say?" he tilted his head to the side, grunting silently to himself and suddenly released her. Watching her drop on the ground he sneered. "That's what I thought." Slowly he turned, walking back towards Kakarrot's body to finish what he'd begun. "Unconditional..." he snorted in slight amusement.

She sat on the ground where she'd fallen, not meeting him with her gaze as she finally found her voice. "Just because I don't want to watch you slaughter the innocent doesn't mean I gave my feelings conditions." she turned to look at his turned back now. "You're confusing the two issues Vegeta. You just can't accept that maybe it's possible that someone loves you more than you love yourself. You can blow up the entire universe as I explode into the Otherworld, but I will still feel the same way for you I always have."

He was halted by her voice, glancing at her over his shoulder. "Is that so?" Truly surprised, though hiding it well he turned around and slowly walked back to her. "If that is so...then why do you turn away as I look at you? Why do you shiver as I touch you? Why do you deny me, yet say you embrace me?" he challenged, watching her with his merciless eyes that bore into her being.

Standing up she leaned against the rocky wall. "Because I'm scared. I'm just scared. Can't you see that much Vegeta? I look into your eyes and I barely recognize you... I hear your words and you say that you have what you wanted, and nothing else matters to you now. But what scares me more is that even despite of that, I still love you. I'm watching you slip thru my fingers and it scares me. I know you must hate me for my weakness, but I don't care. I just don't care anymore. Even if you don't need love Vegeta, I still do. I don't expect you to understand that, but I can't change things. As you like to remind me..." she closed her eyes, turning away from him. "I'm only Human."

He stood there motionless. Arms folded across his chest with a stoned look plastered on his features as he weighted her words. Did she really mean what she said? She had to be crazy. How could she still care for him after all that he had done. After all the people he had killed. Even Kakarrot's blood stained his war tarnished hands, yet she still vowed her love to him. Why?

"I'm the same person you always knew woman. This is the real me. So far you've only seen a glimpse of it since there was no reason to let it out before. You just got lost in your little fantasy of a soft, weakling." he snorted lightly. "Make no mistake, I'll never become that weakling. You want to prove you're more than human?" he suddenly smirked and extended his hand, offering it for her to take. "Then join me now woman and take your place by my side as the ruler of the universe. Be my queen as we paint the stars with blood." he spoke with a deadly promise in his voice, his obsidian eyes glittering with animal lust to hunt and kill.

She kept looking at his hand in silence, his words sending a cold shiver down her spine - contemplating her options of either keeping her purity or accepting the devil's dance call. What was the right thing to do? Prove her loyalty to all the innocent who had died today or... try to save what there was left of her mate's soul, even if it was at the cost of her own?

After what seemed like an eternity she looked at him. "I'm not ashamed to be Human. And I never saw you as soft or weak." Carefully she took his hand, not caring as the blood in his stained her. "I promised I would be yours forever and I will." she vowed as she looked deep into the black abyss of his eyes, her voice dropping to a soft whisper. "But I don't need to see you rule the universe...I just need to see you laying next to me."

Once she took his hand, it was something he had not prepared for. Never did he believe someone so pure and innocent would come to him willingly, yet here she was offering herself to him now for the second time. Squeezing her hand slightly he watched her intently as she spoke, feeling something twist in his soul almost painfully as if hers was breaking its way thru his very core. Slowly he pulled her to his embrace, looking into her eyes once more. Silence danced upon them as minutes ticked by. Then, before his lips brushed against hers, silently he breathed the words.

"So be it..."

Lightning struck loudly, flooding the dark room with hollow light as he shot up in bed. Covered in sweat he glared around the silent room, taking in his surroundings as everything once more went dim. Slightly distraught he took a moment to steady his breathing and warrior instincts that never stopped searching a hidden danger. What the hell happened? Where was the woman and why was he here? After a moment it all began to get into perspective and a deep, tired groan escaped his throat.

Just a dream...

He told himself, running a hand thru his ebony mane. That was the third time this week. Why did he have these weird dreams all of a sudden?

Were they even dreams? The Prince's brow furrowed in thought, creasing with worry as the events played out in his consumed mind. Rationally he knew they were nothing but dreams and that's also how he should treat them, yet in retrospect he had an odd feeling about it. Everytime it felt so familiar. Like a forgotten memory resurfacing. Yet that was impossible, right? He knew that wasn't how things had gone with him and his mate once Buu had been put to a rest and the whole Majin incident had been forgotten and forgiven. Yet there were a lot of similarities as well that unnerved him. Especially since all of his dreams of late seemed to focus on his mate.

Vegeta glanced at his side, finding Bulma lying there fast asleep. Her and the strange relationship they shared, all the dreams were about her. Why? He lied back down, shifting his head on the pillow to watch her. Never did he dream of peace and prosperity, yet why of something that was a mixture of memories and impossibility?

Because it's a dream... he snorted at himself. Weren't they supposed to be irrational? No doubt his subconscious was just playing a trick on him.

I think too much... he made a mental note to focus more on his training from now on rather than play Freudic games with himself. He sure had better things to do than lie on the couch and think about his childhood.

Satisfied with this he pushed the unnerving dream in the back of his mind and instead focused on his mate that lay right nex to him, unaware of the thoughts going thru his head. For a long while he only stared, a million thoughts and voices bothering him, yet like so many nights before only one word remained.

Unspeakable.

That's what it was. No matter what he'd done differently in the past there was nothing that could have prepared him for this moment. By common sense he shouldn't be shocked or disturbed by it anymore, but he'd be lying if he said this had been part of his plans. Hell, it never had been and he had a feeling there wasn't anyone else out there either who'd guessed this to be his future. Not that it shocked him since he'd always lived one day at a time, never knowing what he'd see or where he might be tomorrow. His life was a game of chance and ironically enough, suppose this proved it even more.

Silently Vegeta watched the peaceful heaving of his mate's chest. Just rising and falling, and rising again. The warm breath escaped her slightly parted rosy lips in a delightful soft snore that the Prince had gotten quite accustomed to in all the years he had shared her bed. Her blue hair tossed all over the pillows, falling about like streams of river that licked the satin sheets. He brushed his fingers thru her aqua locks as a predatory smirk crept in the corner of his mouth. So calm, fragile and beautiful - completely ignorant of the world around her, not to mention the pair of obsidian eyes that guarded her every move and unbeknowst to her, had been for months now.

A rush of animal lust burned thru his veins as she shifted on the bed, revealing more of her milky skin to his hungry eyes that roaved over her figure appreciatively. A growl of frustration rumbled from deep within his throat as his gaze settled on the flimsy nightgown that blocked his perfect view. Restraining her heaving chest as the silky fabric clung onto her every curve it was practically begging him to rip it off. A brush of his fingertips tickled at her skin as his need guided his battle worn hands over one swelling mound. He was rewarded with a soft moan from his mate and immediately heard and answering growl from the beast that dwelled within. Just urging him to claim what was rightfully his and satisfy his darkest desires.

Feeling her body arch into his he felt another rush of heat surge thru him. Unable to resist her siren call he leaned in to graze his teeth across her neck, moving on with light nips of her flesh down to her collar bone. She murmured something in her sleep, a secret smile forming on her fully kissable lips while the Prince kept lavishing her body with attention. Finally pushing down one of the straps of her nightgown Vegeta trailed hot kisses down to her breast. His groin tightened with long suppressed need as her scent teased his senses, emitting a hiss of pleasure from his dry throat as she suddenly rubbed herself against his hardened manhood. He felt the hairs in the back of his neck stand up and pulled her soft body closer to his muscular one, smoothing its hard lines and creating a strikingly beautiful contrast of porcelain against his olive tan. His eyes slid shut as he tried to resist the urge to give into to his instincts and just fuck her untill she couldn't move. What wouldn't he do to rid himself of this torment. By now he was mad with desire and damn near blinded by lust - completely lost in the little exploration he'd started. The woman could've been wearing a garbage bag for all he cared, but he still wanted nothing more than to throw her against the wall and quench this feeling that had become a plague of both his body and mind.

The greedy voice whispered its seductive promises into his ear - taunting him with pleasures unlike any battle or power could ever bring. The taste of her skin and the feel of her body forming into his was silencing his reason more and more as his desire drugged mind felt her bottom rub against his hip. An audible growl escaped his throat as he threw all reason to the wind, wanting only to satisfy this need and consume her body with his. He earned it and it was his right as her mate to have, he convinced himself as his fangs tickled her pulse, feeling a sense of primal pleasure wash over him. His fingertips ghosted over her skin, trailing down from her full breast to glide over her flat...

Suddenly Vegeta froze where he was. His eyes snapped wide open and his gaze shifted onto the hand that rested on his mate's stomach. He felt like cold water had been thrown on him. Where there once was a perfectly trimmed abdomen now was rather large swelling, or what he'd come to call it,

“...speed bump”. he growled in frustration and squeezed his eyes shut in an effort to try and ease his obvious arousal.

“You're the one that knocked me up, so don't you growl at me saiyan.” came the woman's sleepy and from what he could hear, a very uncomfortable reply.

Yes, how could he forget? No one could at this point. The woman's stomach was big enough for a rock climber to conquer for Kami's sake. However, during the last few months more than anyone else, Vegeta was feeling the effects of her mood swings and obvious discomfort in a far more personal level. First and foremost, their sex life, or make that more accurate, lack of it. Going from nearly daily pleasures to nothing in a matter of days was a shock the Prince most definitely had not been prepared for. How could he have seen this coming? He'd been training in space while Bulma carried the boy, so though he'd heard horror stories from the other Z fighters concerning pregnancy and overly emotional devil women, the reality of it was something that went far beyond it. After all, not once had he considered that the woman's pregnancy might cut into his plans with his mate.

“Shut up woman...” he murmured against her neck, trying to ignore and forget he was still hard, but her body so close to his wasn't exactly helping. “I'll growl at you if I feel like it.”

“Unless you want to wake up missing a tail in the morning, I wouldn't risk waking up the baby now that she's finally settled down.” Bulma narrowed her eyes at her mate, hearing a somewhat amused chuckle from behind her. “Lets see you carry a squirming saiyan inside you who treats your womb as their personal Gravity Room, then Vegeta, then we can talk.” She snorted, turning her back on her mate.

A smirk crossed the Prince's lips and he rubbed his hand over her swelling abdomen, letting his Ki flow as he massaged her in small round patterns. “Better?” his silent voice wrapped itself around her and he felt a moment of victory as she relaxed against him once more, a slight smile spreading on her lips now. He knew she was uncomfortable and her hormones were making her mood change every five minutes like every other woman's who was expecting, but only one other on this planet knew what it was like to carry a saiyan child. Least to say, it was far more tiring and from what he could notice, pretty much all of what his mate was eating went straight to the bottomless well of energy his race shared. Even he had to admit that she didn't have it easy.

“You play dirty...” she murmured sleepily, turning her head on the pillow to kiss him lightly on the lips. Vegeta merely smirked and watched her in the dark, his eyes glittering with evil amusement. “I never said to be anything but a bad man.”

“Seems like she calmed down.” She mentioned as she shifted her eyes to his hand that rested on her belly. “She knows you're here.” She smiled slightly, turning to look at him now with a teasing twinkle in her eye. “A daddy's girl already, is she?”

“Hmph...” he grunted as she laughed at the annoyed scowl he gave her before snuggling closer to him. “She just knows better than to mess with her father.” he smirked, letting another touch of his Ki flow to his daughter-to-be, soon feeling a trace of hers drift right back to him.

“If there's any justice in the world, she'll be here to help me torment you.” Bulma murmured before closing her eyes, feeling her sleep claim her once more.
Vegeta snorted before resting his arm under his head, closing his eyes to continue his once disrupted sleep as his other hand still lay protectively on her swollen abdomen.

“You wish.”

A smirk crossed his lips as he felt an answering kick under his palm.

Good girl...
