Chapter 7: Aftermath

"Speech" `Thoughts' *Dream*

In the last chapter

As she arched her back and screamed his name he sank his fangs into the juncture of her neck marking her as his own. She bit him back, sealing their bond and their strengths becoming one. He came after that and propped himself onto his elbows and just stared into her eyes. She was covered in sweat that made her body shine like a forgotten jewel. He pushed a strand of hair from her eyes and kissed her forehead before rolling off of her and panting as he pulled her to him. She had fallen asleep and snuggled closer to his warm body. He replaced what was left of her tattered clothing before gathering her up in his arms and retreating into the shadows to sleep.

Cell walked farther into the forest to a small cave where he had been living for the past few days. He carried his mate into the cave and gingerly laid her on a pile of soft branches and leaves that had been his bed. With his energy running low and he needed to find something to replenish it. With a sigh he pushed a lock of hair from her eyes and backed out of the cave. He promised her that he would be back soon and flew off into the twilight. He sensed a town nearby and landed silently on its outskirts. There was a road sign that read - Nikki Town. Welcome and enjoy our simple pleasures. - Cell chuckled to himself. "I will enjoy this." He walked into the town and laughed wildly as the inhabitants screamed and ran from his presence.

I woke up sore and alone, Cell wasn't there. I sat up and felt branches under me; I was in a small cave that he had been using. I could still smell him on the branches. The sun was just rising. I stood up and limped to the cave entrance to get some fresh air and to feel the chill of the morning on my skin. My shirt was torn to hell and my bra was in the same condition. There was an odd sensation in the back of my mind but I pushed it away. At least until I heard the shouting.

"Hey I've found her! She's over here, hurry. I think she's hurt." I looked up just to see Krillan floating above the tree line staring at me. I backed into the cave but it was no use. Soon the entire Z gang had arrived and was standing outside of the cave.

Vegeta walked in and scrunched his nose in disgust. "This place smells like Cell, rotten." He then grabbed my arm and pulled me from my sanctuary and threw me over his shoulder before going air born. I screamed and pounded on his back but he just ignored me.

"Put me down, what are you doing? Put me down now! Don't make me hurt you!" I yelled at him. He laughed and flew faster, soon we were back at Capsule Corporation and Bulma was checking me over. She did a complete checkup including a pregnancy test. She walked over to me and put her hand over my shoulder.

"Kid I know that you must be pretty confused; what with Cell raping you and all." She said sadly. I jumped at her when she said that.

"He didn't rape me, and don't think that for one minute that I'm going to stay here while you kill him!" I was angry and my ears twitched in annoyance. She had gone white in the face and when I looked over to the door the Z gang had gone white in the face and a few of them had big sweat drops on their foreheads. I blushed a deep purple and looked back at Bulma. "I'll be leaving now; don't try to stop me or I'll open a vein." I tried to walk past them when a bigger version of Trunks grabbed my arm and pulled me to the wall.

"What do you think your doing? Cell is a killer he'll kill you the first chance he gets." He looked deep into my eyes.

"Cell won't kill his own mate you fool." I pulled my arm from his as he paled again. I turned and before I could take another step the room grew dark and I slumped to the ground in pain.

Cell stopped in mid-flight and grabbed his stomach in pain. He felt for Sara's presence and it wasn't in the cave where he left her. An image flashed in his mind and two words imprinted themselves into his brain. `Help me'. He flew to where he felt her energy and it was in a large building. She was in extreme pain and was afraid. He went to the front door and broke it easily off its hinges. Sara was doubled over in pain and the Z gang was crowed around her. The one called Trunks had his arm around her trying to get her to tell him what was wrong. Cell knew what was wrong; as they turned to face him he rushed to his mate. He managed to grab her and pushed her to his chest. Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo quickly took up a fighting stance. He backed to the door but Goku appeared behind him and blocked his exit. He was trapped; he looked for an escape but the warriors had regained their composure and were ready to kill him. At least until Bulma yelled at them.

"Don't hit Sara or you might hurt her baby!" Every ones mouths hit the floor as I was trying not to cry from the pain. Suddenly the pain stopped and I felt stronger, I put my hands protectively over my stomach and pushed closer to him. I couldn't believe it; I'm too young to be a mother. Cell's grip tightened around me and his free hand was charging a blast. I could feel his mind pulling at mine and I told him that he couldn't destroy this place. He looked at me angrily and I silently told him why. He frowned and threw the blast at Vegeta. While everyone was distracted we slipped out and he flew off at a frantic place. I almost lost my grip on him a few times but he wrapped his tail around me and I could barely breathe. We landed on a small heavily vegetated island and he hurried me to safety.

Cell looked down at his mate in a new light. She was now carrying his child and his enemies would try to steal her away from him again. She pushed closer to him as if to hide in his skin. She was shivering and he put his arms around her. He needed to become perfect soon if he wanted to protect her. He probed into her mind to calm her down but one scene was playing repeatedly. An island where android 17 and Piccolo were fighting; 18 and android 16 were there too. She showed him a scene where he sprang from the ground and absorbed 17. After that she blocked him out and no matter how hard he tried, she wouldn't let him see anymore. She asked him what he was going to do now and he rested his chin on her head. "Soon I will be perfect and able to protect the both of you." He put one of his hands on her stomach. "Soon but for now I can think of something to do while we wait for nightfall." He purred seductively in her ear. She sighed and kissed him back.

Cell led me over to a soft patch of ground and removed my clothing while we kissed. He kissed me like he did the first time we met. Our bodies moved in unison and we didn't stop until almost dusk. We were struggling to breathe through the passion. Our bodies were burning and dripping with sweat. We stopped for awhile until he nipped at my ear and we repeated what we did earlier. My voice became hoarse from screaming and I could barley talk. Soon he collapsed next to me and he pulled me close for the night, his tail protecting his legacy. I fell asleep and smiled for once as the darkness tried unsuccessfully to break my bond with Cell. Even if he didn't know it; he was helping me just by being with me.

Well I guess I'll just have to wait a bit before posting any more chapters. I need to catch up on my sleep for school.

Cell: What do you mean by sleep? I only have to sleep for a few hours to replenish my energy.

Sara: I know but I do need sleep.

Cell: Okay how's two hours?

Sara: Two hours isn't long enough sleep!

Cell: Who said you were going to sleep?

Okay REVIEW while I find a place to cage Cell so I can get some sleep.
