Ch. 2

I finished taking my shower and I started getting ready. I didn't really fix myself up anymore since Yamcha died. I didn't really care what I look like anymore. I put on my sweatshirt and jeans. I picked up a box of my stuff and went downstairs. As I was walking downstairs, I saw Vegeta was there eating breakfast. I walked past him as he was eating. I was about to walk out the door when he called me, "Woman get me some milk." I guess Vegeta never knew what politeness was. I really wasn't in a good mood, and when someone tells me to do something. It gets me really mad. "Get it yourself Vegeta, you're not helpless!" He looked at me with those eyes. His eyes always stood out. There was something about his eyes that I couldn't explain. "Woman you're right by the refrigerator!" I was getting really aggravated so I put my box down, went to the refrigerator, got the milk, and slammed it on the table making some milk splash on Vegeta. "There Vegeta your happy now that you got your fucken milk!" I started to walk away but Vegeta grabbed my arm. I saw he was giving me that evil glare. "Don't you ever to that to me or else!" When it came to Vegeta and me, Vegeta

was all talk and nothing else. I know that he wouldn't do anything to me, hell he saved me for Christ's sake. I couldn't take it anymore. I pulled away from him and went to the door. "Or what Vegeta, your gonna kill me? Look I don't give a shit what you do because I'm leaving and I don't have to be your slave anymore. Got it?" I slammed the door and walked out.

That evening, I finished unpacking. I was real tired so I took my bath and went to bed. During the night I had a dream that the city was being destroyed. Vegeta was going to try to kill the androids that were destroying the city. I remember seeing his face. That strange glow in his eyes, but this time his eyes were full of love. He kissed me passionately and told me he loved me. Later that day I found out he died. That the androids had killed him. I woke up from that dream and felt the tears down my face. I guess I was crying in my sleep. But that dream felt so real like Vegeta really had died. I knew the dream wasn't real but I just couldn't help thinking about it. I remember this boy coming to tell my friends and me that there were Androids coming in a few years. Vegeta was training real hard so I didn't worry about the dream. After all isn't a dream just a dream???
