Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Animal ❯ Chapter 1

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

I don't own DBZ or the characters, I'm just borrowing them for a bit. So no suing.

The little female looks through the bars of my cage at me, and I look back from my place on the floor. She's some sort of scientist, and I've no idea how they captured me. Maybe I got too cocky, or they just got lucky.

Either way, it doesn't matter now.

I'm trapped in this damn stinking cage, late in fulfilling my mission, and I can feel the urge to kill and tear rising with every passing second.

They think I'm some kind of animal. I'll show them animal.

I might be the weakest Saiyan alive next to Prince Vegeta and Nappa, but the inhabitants of this planet left me my scouter…and they are no match for me.

I swam out of unconsciousness about an hour ago, and I've been biding my time since then, waiting for my chance.

When I see it, I leap on it. A skinny man with a plastic key around his neck on a chain leans down close to me. I play near-dead, mentally urging him closer. Come on, you bastard, just a little farther. See how harmless I am?

He leans closer, and I lunge, burying my hand in his hair and yanking him against the bars of the cage, growling with satisfaction when his nose explodes against the steel. I snatch the key card and slam it into the lock on my cage. The door pops open obediently, and I'm free.

People are running and screaming everywhere, and I laugh. By the time I kill off most of them, my bare chest runs with blood. I find the female scientist hiding under a desk and haul her out by the hair. She screams and beats at me with hands like bird's wings.

“My pod. Now.” I shake her to get my point across, and follow where she leads me. I check that my pod is intact, then turn her to face me. She's shaking, but she meets my eyes. She seems strong, I wonder if…

“Please, mercy.” She whispers, and I frown. It's a pity. She could have been an interesting diversion, but she had to go and beg. I hate that.

“Sorry, don't know the meaning of the word.” Her eyes widen in the second before I snap her neck and drop her at my feet.

Time to purge and go home. Maybe I'll find one on the next planet with a spine.
