CHAPTER 20

SCEITH SAGA

Zach goes out of their so called hide out and walks back to where they arrived to look at their ship.

Zach: the damage isn't so bad but we need fuel.

I can get that for you.

Zach turns around and none other than Xander is staring at him. He is wearing a leather jacket with baggy grey pants and a red shirt with his saiyan gloves and boots with a scar Zach figured came from his battle with Lance. Zach drops into a fighting stance Goku taught him.

Xander: wait I'm on your side.

Zach: prove it!

Xander: you want me to lead you back to the hide out.

Zach: why you?

Xander: because you need the help, plus I am sick of serving that maniac.

Zach: so you're a good guy.

Xander: don't push it. I am doing this because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Zach turns back around and looks at the ship to see if anything else needs to be repaired, replaced or anything else to that order. Zach turns back around to Xander with a half smile.

Zach: you said you could get some fuel for me.

Xander: ya, but it is kinda well guarded in a way.

Zach: what do you mean?

Xander: it's in King City, or West City as you know it.

Zach: the enemy's city in other words. Fine let's go!

Xander and Zach find one vehicle in the town that still runs and head off to West City. Lance walks from behind some ruble with his same old look in his eyes and a small smile on his face. In an instant Lance is off into the sky flying towards King City. In a short two hour ride Zach and Xander are outside of King City looking like no damage has been done to it at all. Zach and Xander begins running through the city in alleyways and behind things to avoid anything or anyone seeing them. They quickly run into a building even Xander has learned of in his months on Earth, C Corp. they run through the hallways with no problems no one was in the building at all. They enter a room with many old dusty robots and parts lying around. They come to a ship that looks like the one Zach need fuel for only it was smaller. Xander walks behind it and come back with four large canisters labeled fuel.

Zach: how did you know this was here?

Xander: I have been inside this city hundreds of times searching for anything useful and I came across this place and I checked it out. It had people in it before though.

Lance: very good in finding the fuel for your ship.

Zach: Lance?

Xander: …

Lance: now let's see them.

Xander: Zach, don't give him those canisters.

Zach: what are you doing?

Xander: it isn't Lance.

Zach: are you crazy of course it is.

Xander: no, I can feel his power is different, close but changed by darkness.

Xander runs at Lance and begins to pummel him to pulp and Lance is trying but can't fight back because the quick attacks coming from Xander suddenly Zach rams Xander over and begins to charge energy to kill him. Suddenly Xander tackles Zach and a beam flies over his head by an inch leaving a hole in the ceiling.

Xander: you see that isn't Lance.

Zach: your right, I don't know who you are but I will kill you!

Zach flies at the imposter and slams his fist into his gut as hard as he can and suddenly a blue beam fires from his mouth and leaves the room like a ghost. The man changes into Delta and he quickly flies away. When they return to their hide out Lance is training Gabriel and Irvine.

Zarduk: I don't understand suddenly he just returned to normal like nothing ever happened.

Zach: Delta had his soul.

Xander: Zach hit Delta so hard the very soul spilled from Delta's mouth and returned to Lance.

Lee: what's the fuel for?

Zach: we are going back to Namek.
