~Flashback, Change POV~

~Lust or Love~

Vegeta's ship landed softly on a big padded thing. Engineers quickly ran towards the ship and opened it. They were surprised to see a girl in the prince's arms and who looked like a certain girl. (Uni: if you don't know who that certain girl is, I'll slap you!) With their help, he got out but still had Crystal in his arms. He turned towards a solider, who was whimpering.

"Place her on the bed in my quarters," he ordered.

"Y-Y-Yes, P-Prince V-Vegeta," he stammered and took Crystal. He disappeared inside the building with her.

"P-Prince Ve-Vegeta, you n-need to g-get in t-the r-regeneration tank t-to h-heal," stammered one of the engineers.

Vegeta scowled, but inside he was still pleased that he could still scare the living daylights out of people. "I know that, you weakling!" he shouted. "Get someone to help me now!"

The man nodded shakily. He motioned someone over. A young man came over and helped Vegeta inside to the regeneration tanks. Vegeta stripped his clothes off and went inside the tank.

Hours later, he was fully healed. He went towards the lockers, which were in the next room and took out another uniform out. He put them on and he remembered the girl. There was something about her that he couldn't quite place. She did look like her, but she was dead, right? Ever since he learned the news, he vowed to never love another again. Maybe all he felt towards this girl was lust.

~Flashback~

"Where is Katriana!?" Vegeta shouted angrily, pushing Raditz to the wall. "Answer me! Where the hell is she!?"

Raditz looked at the floor, suddenly finding it interesting. "I heard that Bardock sent her back towards Vegeta-sei when the planet was destroyed. I haven't hear anything else," said Raditz in a low voice.

Vegeta dropped him on the floor, shock in finding the news. He stepped back a few steps, his mouth open in revelation.

"I'm so sorry, Prince Vegeta!" cried Raditz, and then added in a whisper, "She's dead along with the rest."

'No…this can't be," murmured Vegeta, "No……We were together for only a short time. NO! IT CAN'T BE TRUE!! SHE CAN'T BE GONE!! ARGH!!! NOOOO!! KATRIANA!!"

Raditz looked at the floor, weeping for his deceased sister and father. He had no family left, except for Kakarot whom he really give a damn about and he was on Earth anyways. From that day on, he became ruthless as Vegeta and cold hearted. Vegeta walked out of the room and into a pod. He pushed some buttons towards planet Mau, since they weren't done with the planet. After killing a couple thousand people and buildings and such, he had been able to calm himself down a tad and went to his pod. When he reached space he looked out, enjoying the view for the first time.

'Katriana…I miss you already' he thought sadly. 'I promise you…I will never love again, unless it is you…you're the only onna I will ever love…'

~End Flashback~

'It's just lust' he said to himself as he marched down the halls and towards his room. Soldiers he passed whimpered as he came by and growled. He loved the effect he had on people.

He opened the door to his room and found Crystal on his bed, sound asleep. He smirked. She really did have a resemblance to her.

~Flashback~

Vegeta entered his room to find Katriana sleeping peacefully on his bed. He sighed. He had almost forgotten about her. He grabbed a chair and placed it next to the bed and sat down. Vegeta closed his eyes and started thinking. The prince looked at the young girl.

This was the time that Katriana decided to stir from her sleep and open her eyes. She saw Vegeta and smiled nervously. Katriana sat up and faced him.

"What's wrong? You seemed kind of mad earlier," she asked.

"It's nothing," he replied, looking at her.

"Liar," she said after a while.

"What did I tell you!?" he nearly shouted. "Don't-"

"You know Vegeta-chan, I don't have to get inside your head to know you are lying." He frowned. "I know you too well. Now stop being a baby and tell me what's wrong."

**Skip**

"Where are you going?" he asked, looking back at her.

"I'm going to my room to sleep, duh!" she exclaimed as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

He grabbed her hand, sitting from his chair, and pulled her back towards him. Puzzled, she let him guide towards him. Her heart, to her surprise, began to beat quickly. Katriana couldn't understand the feeling she was feeling that second. He pushed her gently back onto his own bed and made her lie down.

"Go back to sleep, you'll need all the sleep you need for tomorrow," he finally told her.

"But what about you?" she asked.

He shrugged and replied, "I'll manage." She was about to protest, but Vegeta hushed her. "Just go to sleep." Thinking there was no point in arguing any longer, took one last look at the prince of Vegeta and closed her eyes and went to sleep as told. Vegeta looked at her for a while before grabbing himself a blanket and pillow and he slept on the couch that was in the same room.

**skip**

"Vegeta-chan! Let go!" she cried. He pulled even harder. "Vegeta! Are you even awake!" Vegeta yanked her towards him. Katriana fell on him and he finally woke up.

"What are you doing, Katie?" he asked.

"What are you talking about, Veg-head!" she exclaimed, "You have a hold of my arm! I was trying to wake you up and you grabbed a hold of me!"

"I did!?" he asked clearly confused.

She held her arm up as proof. Vegeta did have a hold of her arm. Katriana pushed herself off him.

Vegeta let her go, puzzled. He wondered how that had happened. He couldn't help, but feel disappointed when letting her go.

~End Flashback~

"Katriana," he whispered.

He went inside and locked the door behind him. His room was bigger than his last room on Vegeta-sei. He knew that it wasn't a meteor shower that destroyed his planet. He wasn't that stupid like Frieza took him for.

He walked over to Crystal and sat on the side of the bed. His hand came up to her face and he stroked it, slowly. Her eyes opened slowly and she found Vegeta next to her.

"Hey," she said softly, "Are you okay now?"

He nodded in reply and kept stroking her cheek. He couldn't stop. Their eyes met once again and they were like that for quit a long time. Vegeta had stopped caressing her and his head was slowly bending down towards hers. She took a sharp breath and his lips crashed down on hers. She slowly responded. Soon, his tongue traced her lips, asking for entrance. She opened her mouth and let him explore her. The kiss was simple at first but was soon deepened. His hands trailed down her body and he rubbed her thigh. His other hand circled her waist and brought her up to him so her back was arched and her body was pressed to his. She moaned and that only made him want her more.

He released himself from her lips and started trailing hot kisses down her neck. Somehow, he ended up straddling her waist, but was still kissing her. Her hands found their way up his shoulders and around his neck. She pulled him towards her as her body was pressed on his. Vegeta started to slide down the straps of her tank, as he went lower and lower as he kissed her. He stopped and lifted her shirt but kept her chest covered. He kissed her stomach.

He started to fiddle with the button of her shorts. Crystal blinked. The whole time, she had been in a whole different world. Where was she? 'Oh yeah, in Vegeta's quarters.' What were they doing? 'He kissed me' she answered in her mind. She felt her shorts behind lowered slowly. She blinked and realized where they were getting at. She pushed Vegeta away and lowered her shirt, blushing.

"What the hell was that for?" he demanded.

"S-Sorry, Vegeta-chan," she stuttered and button up her shorts. "I-It's just that, I just met you. It doesn't seem right."

He rolled his eyes. 'Onnas' he thought and rolled over the bed to rest. He felt her get back on the bed. She looked over his shoulder. He could feel her breath on his neck and he shuddered. 'It's just lust' he ordered himself to think.

"What are you doing, onna!?" he demanded, turning to lay on his back, causing her to fall off the bed.

He grabbed her wrists before she fell out and pulled her to him. They looked at each other again, their mouths only millimeters away from the other. She took a sharp breath and moved away from him. She settled herself on the edge of the bed, making sure she wouldn't fall off. Crystal looked at Vegeta who was scowling at her.

"Ummm…Vegeta-chan?" she asked, timidly.

"What, onna?" he said rudely.

She winced but remained strong. "Do you…do you recognize me in any way?" she asked. "Like…do I remind you of anyone?"

'Yeah, Katriana' he said in his mind and then scowl. "Why?"

"Umm…well, you see, two years ago, this friend of mine found me on the side of the road," she started, "And when I woke up, we realized that I had amnesia. So, well basically he helped me. He got me into a school and everything and I was living with him for two years. See, he took care of me."

Vegeta growled lowly. 'Wait, why do I even care?' he asked himself. If it were only lust, why would he even care?

'Because she has your heart' he heard his conscience say. 'The first time you met her when she arrived to save the boy, she took your breath away'

'That's not true!' Vegeta shouted.

'Yes it is! Stop denying it!' it yelled back. 'Stop denying it!'

Vegeta mentally growled. 'So what if she did!'

'Don't you remember your promise. The promise you made to the stars. That you would never love again unless you had her again'

Then, Vegeta felt someone poke him. He snapped out of his argument with his conscience and found Crystal poking him in the chest. He grabbed her wrists so that she would stop poking him. She gasped and looked at him.

"Why the hell are you poking me for!?" he roared.

She cowered back. "You seemed disturbed. Gomen nasai, Vegeta-chan," she whispered.

"Whatever," he said. When she didn't say anything, he said, "Well, aren't you going to continue your dumb story!?"

"Umm…okay…Where was I? Oh yes," she said, as she thought, "Well, you see last year, it's when these dreams started."

"What dreams?"

"Hold your horses, I'm getting there," she said. "Anyways, everyday I would get these dreams…and…you were in it." She said the last part softly, but thanks to his good saiyan ears, he heard her. His eyebrows went up, curious. "And umm…well, I keep seeing other people too. Then, memories, I would guess, kept creeping in my mind. I can't really make them out. I would always get headaches."

"Then, umm…when you guys came to Earth and destroyed that city even though it was a cruel thing to do," she added menacingly.

He winced. "It's not my fault! I didn't do it! Nappa did!" he said, defending himself. Normally he wouldn't have cared, but for some reason, he couldn't stand her like this.

She rolled her eyes. "Well, he was really mean. But anyways, I don't want to concern with this right now," she said, "They reported it on TV and they showed a clip of both you and what's his face…Nappa. I felt some sort of, recognition. Jeff, lent me some capsules and…I followed my heart and found…you."

'So, that's how she got there' he thought.

"How come you know how to fly?" he asked.

She blinked. "I know how to fly?"

He looked at her and shook his head. "You don't remember? Figures. Stupid onna," he murmured, thinking she wouldn't hear, since he said it so low.

To his surprise she did and she slapped him on the arm and hard. He fell off the bed and onto the floor. She looked over the edge and started to giggle furiously. He growled and grabbed her arm, pulling her down towards him. She gasped and tried to stay on the bed by grabbing the sheets and failed. Crystal fell on him along with the sheets and the blanket covered them.

Crystal, she realized, was straddling Vegeta's waist and his hands were placed on her waist. He smirked as he saw her blush once again. He pulled her head down towards him.

"Why are we always in this position?" he asked, whispering in her ears, making her shiver. He rolled over so that he was on top of her instead of the other way around. He held on to her arms either side of her so she wouldn't do anything.

"Umm…Vegeta?" she said.

"What, onna?" he growled.

"Let's not start this up again," Crystal said.

He rolled his eyes and that's when there was a knock on his door. Vegeta growled and got off Crystal. She got up as well and decided to take a nap on the bed. Vegeta unlocked the door and found a whimpering soldier.

"Nani!?" he asked, coldly.

"P-Prince Ve-Vegeta," he stammered, "I-I am j-just h-her to wa-warn you tha-that L-lord F-Frieza has le-left to Na-Namek fo-for the Dra-Dragon Ba-alls."

"NANI!?" he roared.

The soldier yelped and ran for his life. Vegeta was, needless to say, pissed off. He turned around only to see that Crystal was on the bed and fast asleep. Vegeta walked up to her and saw her sleeping peacefully. He, for some odd reason, didn't want to disturb her, but he didn't want to leave her alone. He shook her by the shoulders and she only stir. He smirked and bent down to kiss her on the lips. Her eyes shot opened when she felt something on her lips and found Vegeta.

He licked his lips, as he stood upright. "Get up, onna. We're going on a trip," he declared.

"A trip? Where?" she asked.

"Stop asking questions, onna. We're going to Namek and that's all I'm going to tell you," he said. "Get up."

She rolled her eyes and got up as told. Vegeta began to examine her, circling around, making her nervous. Suddenly, he grabbed hold of her hand and pulled her close to him.

"You need a change of clothes onna," he said, lowly.

"Err…okay?" she said meekly.

He dragged her out of the room and pass hallways and doors until they stopped in front of a particular room. They went inside and she saw that it was a locker room. He went through a locker and threw her a uniform that looked similar to his.

"Change into that," he ordered.

"Umm…Here?" she asked, uncertainly. He nodded. "In front of you?" He smirked.

"Why? Uncomfortable?" he asked. She nodded. "Fine, I'll wait outside," he said and walked out of the room.

She sighed and stripped her clothes off. She put on the spandex suit that consisted of shorts and a tank top. Then, she took the armor and looked at it in a funny way. How was she supposed to put it on? It looked so small, even for her even though she herself was a couple inches smaller than Vegeta. Her eyes eyed the door and she walked towards it.

"Vegeta?" he heard his name being called. He looked up and saw Crystal.

"What onna?"

"How do you put the armor on?" she asked.

He sighed and went inside the locker room with her following. Vegeta grabbed the armor and turned towards her. That's when he noticed that she was wearing the spandex part of the uniform. The suit clung to her as if it was a second skin. It curved her every inch of her body. He snapped out of it before Crystal realized he was staring at her. He walked over to her and told her to put her hands up. She did as she was told, as usual, and he stretched the armor out. He put it over her and placed the armor properly. Before they left, she capsulized her clothes she had been wearing before.

They walked towards the pod center. As they walked, Crystal noticed some of the soldiers staring at her. She stepped closer to Vegeta, not liking it. Vegeta felt her coming closer to him and saw some of the men staring at her. He grabbed her hips, pushing her against him, and growled menacingly at the soldiers, who whimpered back.

Vegeta and Crystal walked down the hallways like this until they entered a room. It was huge and consisted of many space pods. Vegeta went up to an engineer and demanded a pod to be ready that instant. He quickly ran to a pod and quickly started to get it ready.

As this was happening, Crystal was engulfed in her own thoughts. She thought about what happened earlier between her and Vegeta. She felt confused. Did she love him? Or was she this just lust? A lot of things didn't make sense to her. Nappa had called her Katriana, right? Was that her real name? So many questions and none answered. Vegeta could verify it for her, no? 'But he didn't answer my question' she thought to herself. She had to get him to answer. Otherwise, it would drive her insane! 'It's like he keeps avoiding answering me' she said. Crystal was snapped out of her thoughts when Vegeta grabbed her wrists towards the pod.

"Come on, onna," he said.

He went in the pod and pulled her in. Vegeta placed her o his lap and closed the door. The pod shot up into the air and towards space when she received another memory.

~Flashback~

"Katriana!!" barked Zarbon, who appeared out of nowhere. "It is time." He said, ignoring Vegeta, who was growling.

"Ok," she said. She stepped away from the prince of saiyans and walked towards Zarbon. "Where am I going?" Katriana asked.

"I believe you're going to the planet called Mau," he replied as they left Vegeta alone to stare after them. Katriana turned around and started to walk backwards and waved at Vegeta. She turned around again, her back now towards him.

"Mau you say? I've never heard of it," she said.

"Not a lot of people has heard of this planet. Mau's people have a technique that we would like to learn. But they have been fighting us, so that we wouldn't learn it. So you're mission will be to destroy the planet," he said. They arrived at the pod center and they walked towards a space pod.

"Ok, so I have to des-NANI!" she shrieked.

"Destroy the planet Mau," Zarbon said firmly.

"I am not going to do that! Even if I would, I can't do it alone," she said, shaking her head. "No one said I had to do that!"

The green man smirked. "Did the prince not say anything?"

"Vegeta…"

"Get in girl! And if you don't do as Master Frieza says, you'll be destroyed!" He pushed her into the pod and she fell in. "Get that pod going!" he barked at a saiyan, that was working at the pod controllers. He nodded and pressed a few buttons.

"Get me out!! Let me out!!" shrieked Katriana on the inside of the pod. Zarbon smirked.

"If you want to see Vegeta-chan, you better come back alive, because I assure you that they will try and kill you," he said and walked off as the pod flew into space.

Katriana started to cry and as soon as she reached space, the computer engaged the sleeping gas. Slowly, the girl's eyes began to drop and she went to sleep.

~End Flashback~

"What's wrong with you, onna?" demanded Vegeta.

"Just another memory," she mumbled while resting her head on his shoulder.

"What was it?" 'Why do I even care?' Vegeta asked himself.

"Umm…Well…I was in a space pod like this one, but I was screaming and crying because I didn't want to do something," she replied. "I was wearing one of those uniforms, except it was pants and long-sleeved. You were in it at the beginning."

Vegeta thought about it. "What other memories have you had?"

"Well…There was that one on Earth. I was saving a boy from death and gave him my energy to heal his injuries, but some soldiers decided to kill him. I couldn't defend myself because of energy," she said, thinking at the same time, "So, I did something to this one soldier. I don't remember. But I do remember he called me…Katriana?"

Vegeta looked shock, but quickly covered it up. 'Katriana?' he thought. 'Maybe she really isn't dead and this is her in my arms!!' he looked down at Crystal, who seemed to be taking a nap. She did have the same features as Katriana, his Katriana, and she even had the same blue eyes she had. Usually, saiyans eyes were black, but hers were blue. Katriana was powerful and strange saiyan. She ate little unless she came from a fight, had blue eyes, and wasn't blood thirsty. She was the tenshi of saiyans. Then, he felt Crystal move from her position, so that she was facing Vegeta, straddling his waist once more.

"What onna?" he asked in his rude voice.

"You never answered me," she said.

"Answered you?" he questioned, apparently confused.

She sighed disapprovingly. "If I reminded you of anyone. You said yes! I want to know who!"

He sighed loudly, rolling his eyes. "Fine!" she looked at him intently. "You remind me of…her…Katriana, daughter of Bardock, sister of Raditz."
