Berter slowly entered his quarters. He hadn't slept in his own room since he was 3. He could barely remember it. Carefully he put his bag on the bed, his bed. {Man. this is intense.} He sat down next to his bag looking around. {Well. at least I'm out of that hell-hole} he looked at the clock he had 2 hours before training began so.he had free time. When he was at the orphanage he could just run around but here. he sighed. And stretched out on his bed. {May as well get some sleep.}

Ginyu watched the red haired boy look at him-self in the mirror. The pants hugged his perfect calves and rear. The tight turtleneck showed off his biceps and chest. And the armor really bought out his eyes. Recoome turned toward him. "What do you think sir?" the boy looked eagerly at his superior. Eyes starved for approval

[Maybe it's intuition But some things you just don't question Like in your eyes]

Ginyu cleared his throat. "You get a definite ten on the scale of style." he was rewarded for his words by the boy's face lighting up with the most wonderful smile he had ever seen. {Beautiful.} "Thank you sir"

Berter was startled out of a doze when someone opened his door. He sat up irritable at being woken up and snapped "May I help you!" he looked up and saw a boy that looked about 16 and like he was scared out of his mind.

Jeice gripped his bag nervously. He didn't want to be here. He hated it. He could feel everyone's eyes on him at age 16 he had so many people stare at him it didn't mean any thing anymore. He stepped into what he hoped was the right room

And jumped when someone said, "may I Help You?!

{Well here I Am. why am I here? I don't want to be here. Why did mama send me here? Oh right. I had to get away from papa.] I feel myself shudder. {Why do people always find me attractive?} I hear someone say " may I Help You!

I realize I might have walked into the right room. I look up to give a hasty apology and my breath catches in my throat.

*** Jeices pov ***

{Oh my god. he's.. he's beautiful!} He looks at me and his eyes practically drown me. "I'm sorry," I choke out. "i…..i was recrutied for the ginyu force. and I was told my room was around here somewhere and …I walked into yours!"

he walks up and says "hey calm down. it was a mistake! calm yourself ok? I'm sorry for snapping and all that but I'm always cranky when I'm disturbed. Im gonna be working with you actually! I'm berter. What's your name?" "jeice" I answer.

Recoome and I head for the debriefing room. When we get there zarbon waiting for us along with 3 other boys. Zarbon rises to meet us. "Ahh captain, allow me to introduce your new recruits." he gestures toward A tall blue boy who looks about 15. "This is berter." he gestures toward a small 4-eyed boy who looks about 14. "That's guldo. And this.." he jerks his head toward the red boy next to him who looks about 13. "Is jeice." I shrug. "This is recoome." I say calmly even though when I say his name my heart does jumping jacks. Zarbon shrugs.

"I guess I'll leave you to it then."
