A rebel planet within Freeza's empire which was a significant threat had announced its independence. Freeza
personally briefed the two teams which would wipe all resistance from it. One team was Zarbon and Pan, who was
now 17 years old. The other was Dodoria and Vegeta. They were the most powerful people Freeza had after the
Ginyu force, but this situation wasn't meant for them.

It was at the docks where he briefed them. Separately of course, so as to keep Vegeta and Pan apart. First he
briefed Zarbon and Pan. 'The planet was a major arms production base. They rely mostly on advanced weaponry.
This should be no problem to you and team B. The real threat lies in the "Magicians" as they are known there. These
Magicians are actually hired soldiers with great powers. One is easily the equal of a first class soldier in our ranks. To
make things more difficult, this planet is home to our main research base and our biggest mines. For once, your goal
is to save lives instead of take them. You must protect the scientist Baylor and his team. If they die it'll set our
research back many years. You are only to destroy the military, not the civilians. This is a very important planet to me
and if it were lost it would be a tremendous blow to my empire. You will secure the northern hemisphere and team B
will secure the southern hemisphere. Now go,' he said harshly. Pan and Zarbon bowed before going into separate
pods. Just as they left Vegeta and Dodoria came in. They were briefed and went on their way.

-------

The pods landed on the side of the planet assigned to them. As soon as Vegeta stepped out he took power
readings. The highest was far to the north. He knew it was Zarbon. Who else could have a power of 28000? Next
strongest was Dodoria at 24000, then another, unknown power next to Zarbon at 17500. *What!?* He thought.
*Who else could have a power level higher than my own?! The Ginyu force, King Cold, Cooler, Freeza, Zarbon and
Dodoria are the only ones stronger!*

Other than these powers, the highest power was just under 4000. He blasted off to where a city could be seen on
the orange horizon. The whole planet had an orange hue to it. It was because the sun never rose past sea level.
Due to complex planetary alignment involving 11 other planets, the sun never rose or set. It was always peaking
just above sea level.

As he approached he was confronted by a small army of about 100 men. They were armed with heavy energy rifles
and instantly began to fire. One hit Vegeta right in the face and to his surprise, it hurt. He knew then and there that
this was going to be very hard. The planet had an army of millions, and an unknown number of these "Magicians".
He blasted the throng of soldiers and moved on.

---

Pan had been doing much the same as Vegeta. Zarbon headed in a different direction from her, leaving her alone.
She blasted man after man as they came towards her in waves. When she had finished she moved on too. Hours
later, much of the planet had been retaken. The mines were safe, but researchers were nowhere to be found. Other
than locating the researchers, all that remained was the elimination of the army. She was very tired, but that wasn't
going to stop her. She was about to move on when she came face to face with Zarbon.

--------

Vegeta had been distracted by the power he had seen before. He wanted to know who it was. He began to head
north, towards the power when he ran into Dodoria. Dodoria was in bad shape. He had bruises and multiple cuts all
over his body. He was panting heavily. His power read 2000. 'Vegeta, you'll have to finish the mission for me. I ran
into a gang of a dozen Magicians. They were troublesome,' he rasped. Vegeta chuckled darkly at him.

'Hahaha!! Your time is up, you bloated fuck. This is for all the times you damaged my pride!' Before Dodoria knew
what was happening Vegeta blasted him into ashes. He gloated for a second, then he continued north.

------

She glared at Zarbon, who was blocking her path. She tried to move around him, but to no avail. She glared a glared
of hatred. 'What?' she asked rudely. He didn't answer, but instead kissed her. She forcibly broke away and punched
him in the nose. He snarled and grabbed her arm and pulled her closer and forced his lips upon hers. She struggled
against him, but to no prevail. Even if she wasn't weakened from the long fight, he was still stronger than her. She
bit his tongue when it parted her lips and forced entry. He roared and struck her across the face, sending her reeling
from the orange sky down to the ground. She landed in a rocky outcropping and slowly got up. Zarbon followed her,
savouring the taste of his own blood as it trickled down his throat. He stalked over to her and crushed her body to
his. His hands roamed her body as he kissed her again. Pan struggled with all of her might, but it wasn't enough to
stop him. He crushed harder and harder. He kept crushing until he heard cracks. When he was certain that several of
her ribs were broken he kicked her in her knees, effectively shattering her knee caps. She silently fell to the ground.
He ripped her spandex off from the waist down and forced her to kneel on all fours. He took out his member, forced
himself into her from behind. He groaned as her warmth enveloped him. He began slow thrusts in a rythmatic
motion. Pan refused to cry out in any way. His thrusting became fast and strong. Her cheeks burned hotly from
shame and humiliation, partly because it was happening in the first place, but more so because she was finding
herself aroused by it. She most certainly did not wish it to be happening, but her body betrayed her mind and took
delight in the highly pleasurable act. She could feel herself nearing her peak as his thrusts quickened. She came to a
violent rapture and her body spasmed again and again as her inner walls contracted around Zarbon's length. He
continued his thrusts at a quickening pace. Pan came again, and Zarbon followed her. He jerked inside of her as he
shot his seed deep within. He was so engrossed that he didn't see the massive ki blast barrelling towards him. The
resulting explosion knocked him out, and he didn't even know he had been hit, let alone not know what had hit him.
He fell away from Pan, who looked up at her saviour. He wore armour of a 2nd class elite, had long, flame like hair
and a strange look on his face. It looked like he was trying to scowl, but some other expression was forcing it's way
to the surface. He held his hand out reluctantly to help her up. Pan ignored it and got up herself, forcing herself to
stand on her feet. She could feel shards of her knee caps ripping away at her insides causing internal bleeding, but
she was not only a Saiya-jin, but the strongest Saiya-jin who had ever lived, and she was not about to let broken
knees stop her from doing something as basic as standing.

'Thanks for the help, but I was fine by myself,' she said scornfully. The first expression vanished from Vegeta's face
and became a deep scowl.

'Really? It sure looked like you had everything under control, wench,' he said spitefully in reply to her words. Pan got
into a fighting stance.

'Take that back! The only reason you're not dead by my hand is because you killed Zarbon!' Vegeta ignored her
stance and crossed his arms.

'For one, wench, he's not dead. If I killed him I'd be in a lot of trouble with Freeza. For two, the only reason I helped
you is because you're a Saiya-jin, like myself. I thought I and two bumbling idiots I have as companions were the
only ones left.' Pan only then noticed his tail. Her eyes widened for a split second. She slowly recognised him from
the computer-books. He was Vegeta-ouji!

'So I'm not the only one,' she whispered to herself as she dropped out of her fighting stance. Vegeta's ears picked it
up easily.

'That's right. Care to tell me what you're doing on this planet?' he asked. She looked up at him and looked to the
side at Zarbon.

'I was here with Zarbon on a mission from Freeza. You said something about Freeza. Are you with him?'

'Hmp. You must the other member of team A. I came here with Dodoria. I wanted to find out who you were, and how
you could have so much power, so I came and found Zarbon all over you. I am Vegeta, your prince and I have
worked against my will under Freeza since our planet was destroyed by that fucking space rock.'

'I am Pan. I don't know how old I am, who my parents were or anything else before I was 4. The only reason I live is
to someday kill Freeza. Like you, I'm sure,' she said monotonously, but with an ever so slight twinge of pain
underlying her tone.

'Hn,' he agreed. 'It appears that Freeza has deliberately kept us in the dark about each other's existence. Probably
because he didn't want any new offspring popping up. Or...he might have some other reason altogether. We'll work
it out later. Let's get this mission over with. We must come up with a cover story as to what knocked Zarbon out,
and why Dodoria is dead. In the mean time I'm sure that neither of us wishes to be near this green freak,' he said
while pointing at Zarbon.

'Dodoria is dead? Are you truly strong enough to kill him? I can give him a run for his money, but he always wins
when he's beating me,' said Pan in the usual flat tone.

'Yes...he is dead, but he had been greatly weakened. There was no honor in the kill. I did it because I hate him so
much. Now enough talk! I say we finish the mission together, and leave Zarbon here,' Vegeta said loudly. Pan
nodded and rose to the air. Her scouter had been destroyed when Zarbon threw her to the ground, so she waited
for Vegeta to tell her where to go next. He rose to the air and checked his scouter. He looked all around him, doing a
360 turn. He turned his cold, ever present scowl back to Pan which was met by her own chilling one.

'The only significant power reading is about ten thousand miles to the south. Move,' he ordered. Pan obeyed and
together they went south. It was a silent flight. Vegeta had to fly slower so that Pan could keep up. She didn't look
badly hurt, but Vegeta guessed (rightly) that she was hiding some more severe injuries from him, as she was
constantly spitting out blood. Her power level shouldn't have dropped so significantly if the injuries he could see
were all she had. He would occasionally check her power level, and each time it was lower than before. After about
an hour of flying they saw something on the horizon. As they got closer, it turned out to be an unspeakably
colossal...something. They got closer and closer to it, but they still didn't reach it. After flying for ten minutes they
came within about ten miles of it. It was clearly made of metal. It had blinking lights everywhere and uncountable
defences. Vegeta and Pan's guesses were that it was at least 20 miles tall and 20 miles wide. The most shocking
thing was that it was floating about a half mile off the ground, and moving surprisingly fast to the south. The awe
and shock was clearly evident on both Saiya-jins' faces. On the under side it was mostly flat, but there was a huge
circular hole in the center which got thinner as it went deeper into the mammoth thing before them.

'Holy fuck. How the hell are we meant to destroy that thing?' questioned Vegeta.

'I don't know,' said Pan after some time. 'But it must have a weak point. Like a small hole that leads to the power
core or something. Let's check the top out,' said Pan. Vegeta nodded and they flew straight up. It was an ungodly
height to fly to. The air was thin and it was freezing. They used their ki to keep themselves warm. It was a good
thing that Saiya-jins were able to live in almost any environment with oxygen. When they finally reached the top
they found a mostly flat surface which stretched on for as far as the eye could see. There was a huge...thing which
stuck out about 1000 feet from the flat surface right in the center. It had a wide base, and got thinner as it went up.
At the very top it was about 1000 feet wide. Pan and Vegeta flew up to the top of it and found a massive hole with
metal 50 foot thick ringing it. The hole led all the way to the bottom where that other inward hole on the underside
was. It looked almost like a...gun barrel. Vegeta pressed a button on the scouter and began to talk into it. Pan could
only hear Vegeta's side of the conversation because the scouter stimulated the small bones in the ear, making it
impossible for anyone else to hear.

'Lord Freeza? This is Vegeta.......no the mission is not complete yet,' Pan saw Vegeta wince slightly. She guessed
that Freeza had shouted. 'Dodoria is KIA and Zarbon is MIA. I happened to come across a powerful Saiya-jin by the
name of Pan. Why is it that you have kept her existence from me?!...........Fine! What I called to report is that I have
discovered an unidentified flying ship that is the size of a small moon. It is heading south at a fast pace and seems
to be some kind on super weapon. Why was I not informed of its existence!?.....You didn't know? I find that hard to
believe, Freeza! There is no way I can destroy this thing! Destroying planets is different! They're made of rock, this
thing is made of yuminum! It absorbs all but the strongest ki blasts and is incredibly tough! I don't know what this
thing is, but if you want it destroyed, get the Ginyu force to do it!.......But!....Very well. I'll report back in an hour,' he
turned to Pan.

'We have been ordered to try and find some way to get inside it, and to report back once inside. We're going down
that hole......what is it!?' Pan was swaying back and forth and was hunched over. She collapsed at Vegeta's feet and
blood slowly began to seep from her mouth, gradually pooling beneath her. Were he some other Vegeta, he might
have actually cared, but this one didn't. He kicked her and she went sailing. She hit the deck hard with a sickening
splat and rolled a long way. She began to slow down and had almost stopped when she rolled of the edge and
began to plummet to the ground far, far below. Vegeta didn't give it a second thought. In fact, he was slightly glad.
She was already stronger than him when in good health, and that was bad. With her out of the way it meant one
less person who was stronger than him. He blasted down the tunnel at top speed. There were no openings
anywhere. The circular walls were smooth. Really smooth. Glass-like smooth. The top had been flat, but it felt like
any metal: rough. This was perfectly smooth and the whole tube was exactly the same size. Vegeta knew brilliant
metallurgy when he saw it. There was no doubt about it now, this was most defiantly some kind of super weapon.
He guessed it was designed to shoot into space. His eyes widened slightly. *What if they're planning on shooting at
Freeza!?!* He instinctively reached for his scouter to inform Freeza, but stopped. *Freeza dead=good thing.........but
I want to kill Freeza. If they kill him he'll be gone, but I'll be denied my revenge! Grr.........I'll think about this later! I
don't even know what they're planning, if anything.* He had been thinking while flying down the whole time. He
never dropped his guard though. He had learned that you should never drop your guard. He came out the bottom
and flew out of its shadow. He could sense something coming at him. He looked all around, but saw nothing. He
checked his scouter, but none of the nearby power levels were headed for him. He looked up and saw something
coming right at him. He was about to blast it, when he saw it was that female Saiya-jin he thought he had disposed
of. He caught her. She was still unconscious. He was about to dump her, wondering why he even bothered to catch
her, when he noticed something. She should have landed far away. The ship should have moved away from where
she was. This could only mean that the ship had stopped moving. He looked closely, and sure enough it had. What
was more interesting was that something was emerging from the ground directly below the place where the indent
and the tube on the underside of the ship was. Vegeta saw something on the surface of the ship and flew up to it. It
was a metal door. He blasted it, but the blast was absorbed. He punched it, but he only succeeded in hurting his
hand. He growled and blasted it with a really big blast and the metal door was blown to bits.

He went in and found the inside to be much like any space faring ship. Corridors, bustling with people, doors leading
to other areas. People began to scream and run in all directions when Vegeta came in. He wanted to blast them, but
they were civilians, and he had been ordered to keep them alive. He grabbed one in a lab coat and began to shake
him. 'What is this thing, and what is going on here!?' The man was terrified. Vegeta was infamous for his deeds, and
everyone knew that he was one of the most dangerous men alive. He was generally known as the destroyer of
worlds.

'T-This is 'P-project X'. It's a m-massive battle ship, but it's al-al-also a floating city,' confessed the terrified man.
'Go...to s-section 00001 to find Dr. Baylor! He's the leader of this project!' Vegeta was about to let him go, but
decided that Freeza would notice one missing person, and promptly tore the man's heart out. *Shit. I should have
asked him how to get to section 00001* Vegeta looked around for someone else to find out how, when he saw a
platform surrounded by railing and with a sign that said 'Teleportation station' on the wall behind it. Vegeta decided
to try it. He stepped onto it. A computer voice sounded from a speaker in the wall.

'State destination'

'Section 00001' There was a beep.

'That area is off limits to non-personnel' Vegeta growled.

'Section 0000...2' There was a different beep and he was transported to a med bay. A short, fat, half bald doctor
with tan skin and a moustache approached him.

'Oh my! Is she ok?' Vegeta looked at Pan, who was thrown over his shoulder. He had actually forgotten she was
there. He turned back to the doctor. 'Where's section 00001?!' The doctor suddenly realised where he had seen this
man before. It was Vegeta, destroyer of worlds. He wet his pants and began to shake with fear. 'WELL!!!!?' The
doctor yelped and began to babble. He stopped when Vegeta grabbed him by the neck and pushed him against a
wall so that his feet were dangling above the ground. 'I'm going to ask you one last time. Where. Is. Sector. 0. 0. 0.
0. 1?'

'O-o-o-over t-t-there!' He squeaked out while raising a shaking hand to point at a large metal door which looked like
it was strong. Vegeta dropped him and stalked over to the door. He mauled it as if it were tin foil and stepped inside.
Once inside about 12 armed guards inside held their guns up to him. He blasted them all before they even managed
to tell him to freeze. The room he was in now was a small laboratory with computers everywhere and people in
white lab coats all over the place. They were all frozen in fear.

'I'm looking for Dr. Baylor! Step forward, or face the consequences!' ordered Vegeta. After a second a short-ish
fish-like alien came forward. Vegeta glared at him. 'What is this thing, and what are you planning to do with it!?'

'We are planning to attack Freeza with it. I assume Freeza sent you to stop us?' He was very calm for some reason.
Vegeta eyed him a bit.

'Freeza did send me, but it was to rescue you. It appears that Freeza doesn't know you're here. And I may work for
Freeza, but if you have a realistic chance of killing him....then I will help. Explain this thing to me.'

'I will, and I must say that it's a relief that you're not going to kill us all,' he said with a chuckle. Vegeta's eyes
darkened and he glowered at Baylor.

'I didn't say that.' The doctor looked at him cautiously for a moment, before his jolliness came back in full force.

'Whatever. Would you like me to put your female passenger in a regen tank?' he asked. Vegeta nodded and handed
her to an assistant who took her back into the previous room. 'Walk with me, Prince Vegeta, and I'll explain
everything.' Vegeta did so. 'This is known as Project X, or the Reaper. The exterior is made of yuminum, and the
interior is made of steel. It houses a million people, excluding non-civilian personnel.'

'Only a million? It's big enough to house a billion,' said Vegeta.

'True, if this were just a massive apartment block. 90 percent of the space inside is taken up by 8 massive engine
rooms. They're laid out so that the ship with still function at 100 percent efficiency, even if 7 are disabled. Although in
order to maintain flight, 4 engines are required.' Vegeta nodded.

'What about that hole that runs the whole length of the ship? Is it a gun barrel?' asked Vegeta. This was the
question he really wanted to know.

'Yes. The problem is, that's all it is. There's no gun, just a barrel! It's funny really.' Vegeta growled.

'Then what the hell is the point?!'

'We don't have the gun with us. It's somewhere else. Or..rather it was. It's directly beneath us right now.'

'You mean that thing I saw coming out of the ground?'

'Yes. The Reaper is slowly impaling itself on the gun, which fits perfectly into the barrel.'

'Why not just fire the gun without the barrel?'

'That's the funniest part! Just like the barrel is useless without the gun, so is the gun useless without the Reaper
and the barrel. You see, the gun is so powerful that the only thing on this planet capable of powering it is the
Reaper! So the Reaper uses 99 percent of it's total engine power to charge the gun, and the barrel concentrates the
shot.' Vegeta nodded again.

'Ingenious,' he said quietly. 'But are you sure it can destroy Freeza?' The doctor nodded confidently.

'Oh my yes! It has a maximum blast power of almost 4,000,000!! Not even Freeza could take that!' Vegeta's eyes
widened for a mere second before he put his mask back on.

'Four million? As in power level terms?' Baylor nodded.

'We call it the Emperor cannon. And we're firing it any minute now. We aim it by using a deflector dish to steer the
blast to where we want it.' No sooner had the doctor finished than the light's went red and alarms went off. A
computerized voice echoed from the speaker system.

'Emperor Cannon to fire in 60 seconds. All personnel brace for recoil shock. Shutting down all non-essential systems.'
Doctor Baylor turned to Vegeta.

'So, are you with us?' Vegeta's mind was racing at a mile a minute. Should he? He wanted Freeza dead more than he
wanted to open his eyes and still be alive, but he wanted to kill Freeza with his bare hands, not with some gun.

'Emperor Cannon firing in 30 seconds. All personnel brace for recoil shock.' The ship began to shake roughly. The
deafening rattling of everything drowned out almost all other sounds. Vegeta sighed and made up his mind. It's not
like being against them would stop them from firing anyway. It was probably impossible to cancel the firing by now
anyway.

'Ok, I'm with you, Baylor.'

'Good! Excuse me, but I'm going to hide under my desk now. You know, the shaking and all.' He disappeared behind
one of the walls of the lab and pressed a button on something he had on his wrist. 'This is Baylor.....Yes, in about 15
seconds.....Yes sir,' he agreed, '.....I will. Goodbye, Lord Freeza.'
