CATCH OF THE DAY: Chapter Four
Disclaimer: Don't own anybody but the triplets.
Dedication: To my evil muse, Larania, the spork wielding dragon.
Goku dropped Gohan off at his house, then continued on to his own, wondering what he was going to tell Chi-Chi. He'd always found Vegeta attractive and now this. He felt a sudden urge to head back to Capsule Corp. and scoop the smaller man into his arms, holding him close. He felt strangely protective of him suddenly.
//What am I going to tell Chi-Chi?// he wondered. He'd have to tell her about everything, but he couldn't just blurt it out. He'd have to gradually ease into it. Explain that it was a instinct and that he'd always had a sort of crush on the other Saiyan. He'd take her out to dinner, be romantic. Then he'd tell her.
He landed in his front yard and went into his house, fully intending to go through with his plan.
"Goku, what are you doing home?" Chi-Chi asked. "Is something wrong? Where are Gohan and Goten?"
"Umm...heh," Goku laughed nervously, scratching at the back of his head. "Well..."
"Goku, tell me what's wrong!" she snapped, glaring at him. "If something's happened to one of our sons, I need to know!"
"Vegeta went into heat and all three of us got him pregnant," he blurted, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
"Wha'...You got him...what?" Chi-Chi mumbled, looking stunned. Then she fell over backwards, unconscious.
...
"...And that's what happened, Chi-Chi," Goku said, finishing his explanation. They were in their bedroom, Chi-Chi lying on the bed with him sitting next to her.
She just stared at him for a few minutes, then nodded slowly, seeming to come to a decision. She stood up and pulled two suitcases out of the closet, packing his clothes into one.
Goku stared down at his lap miserably. //She's kicking me out. I don't know where I'm going to go though, Trunks won't let me into Capsule Corp. even just to see Vegeta much less to live there.// He shivered slightly as his mind brought back an image of the small Saiyan being pinned beneath him. Of pulling his legs apart and-
"Chi-Chi, what are you doing?" he asked in confusion as she started packing some of her own clothes into the second suitcase.
"I'm packing. We'll need clothes over at Capsule Corp."
"Huh?"
She sighed. "I may not be too fond of the man, but Vegeta is now carrying my grandchildren. I'm not about to let him do something stupid and get them killed or hurt."
"Oh," Goku said, blinking and standing up.
"Come on, Goku," she said, thrusting the suitcases at him.
"But Trunks doesn't want me there," he said, taking the suitcases.
She snorted. "I refuse to leave you alone in my nice clean house, and I seriously doubt Trunks is up to taking care of his father. Besides, you've got to learn to take responsibility for your actions. You got him pregnant, it's your responsibility to make sure he's taken care of. You weren't here for me or Goten, but I swear you will be for this child."
They went out to the car, Chi-Chi ranting at him the entire way.
...
"I see," Videl said quietly, gazing at the floor. Gohan had just finished explaining what had happened.
"Are...are you mad at me/"
She looked up at him, her eyes blazing with anger. Then she slammed her foot into his groin, using all of her strength. "What do you think? Your dad brings you home and unconscious then leaves without so much as a word of explanation. And when you finally come to, you tell me that you had sex with Vegeta and got him pregnant. How am I supposed to feel? Happy?"
Gohan was curled up on the floor in the fetal position, whimpering slightly.
"I'm not mad at you, but I can't stand to even look at you right now. Get out of here. Go to Capsule Corp. Having triplets would be difficult for a woman. I don't even want to think about what it'd be like for a man."
Gohan slowly got up and went to get packed. Then he headed for the door, looking despondent. He was glad Pan wasn't here to see this. She, Bra, and Marron had gone off to summer camp just the week before.
Just as he reached the door, Videl grabbed his shoulder and spun him around, kissing him passionately. "That's in case you start thinking about Vegeta," she said. Then she slapped him. "That's in case you already have been."
...
Trunks stared at the computer screen, looking worried. According to the biology texts he was reading, it was dangerous for male Saiyans to carry even one child. His father was smaller than the average Saiyan and carrying three. The description of some of the stuff to come sounded excruciatingly painful.
//Damn it, I'm going to kill all three of them,// he thought, glaring at the screen. //Especially Goku. Damn it, did he have to kick me there?//
He sighed and rubbed at his eyes tiredly. //I better go check on Dad,// he thought, standing up. He went to Vegeta's room and paused when he heard voices.
"Oh, so you're mad at them, but not me?" he heard Goten say.
"Get off of me, Koneko," Vegeta's voice growled grumpily.
Trunks stared at the door, swallowing the lump in his throat. He had always had a crush on Goten and had suspected for a while that Goten had feelings for his father. That suspicion had been confirmed, and seemed that his father might feel the same.
He clenched his fists, fighting the surge of anger, depression, and betrayal he suddenly felt. //Koneko,// he thought. //I don't believe this. He's calling him kitten.//
He was pulled away from the door by the sound of the doorbell ringing. He went down to answer it, staring in surprise and anger at Goku and Chi-Chi.
"What the hell are you doing here?!" Trunks snapped. "I told him I didn't want him here, and Dad doesn't need you here to shriek at him for this. It wasn't his fault."
"Vegeta needs someone to look after him, and I seriously doubt you know the first thing about babies. Having kids is bad enough for women who are actually designed for it. Your father is going to be going through hell."
"You have no idea," Trunks muttered. "I was just reading up on it. It's a lot more painful than it is for humans."
"Show me what you've been reading," she demanded, pushing him out of the way and walking in, Goku following along like a kicked puppy.
...
He was being chased by something. He fled through the woods, trying to escape from it. His tail was grabbed and gently stroked, what was meant to be a gesture of affection turned into a tool to dominate.
He tried to get away, but the grip on his tail became tight and excruciating. Then he was grabbed around the waist and pinned to the ground, his clothes suddenly gone. He was flipped onto his back, his hips lifted up into the air.
He gasped in a mix of pain and pleasure, arching his back as something huge and slick slid inside him. Then the tip hit his pleasure spot and he cried out, his eyes squeezing shut as the incredible pleasure surged through his entire body. He'd never felt anything this wonderful in his entire life. Part of his mind reached out for the man, wanting to form a link with whoever could make him feel this way.
Then the one who had chased him was gone, replaced by another. This one knelt beside him and gently petted his tail. At this point he was very willing to give any of them what they wanted, there was no need for him to that. He did it to show affection, not to force anything from him. Again he felt his mind reach out, connecting to one who cared enough to hold back his own lust just to do something that felt good to him.
Then he was alone in a strange white void, a woman with blue hair gazing at him fondly. "You have to choose, Vegeta. You have to choose between lust and love."
...
Goten awoke with a yawn, immediately turning to look where Vegeta should have been. He turned at a noise to see Vegeta rummaging through the closet for something to wear, completely naked. He swallowed, staring at the small, perfect body. He was like a piece of art.
He growled low at the thought of his father and brother even touching that lovely body, much less doing what they had done. The noise caught Vegeta's attention, and he glanced over his shoulder.
"What are you staring at?" he growled. "It's not like it's something you haven't seen before."
He pulled out a pair of pants and ripped a hole in the back for his tail. Then he glanced back over his shoulder, frowning slightly. "Why are you wearing my pants?"
Goten blushed hotly as he remembered his dream. "My swimming suet was messed up," he muttered under his breath.
"Hmmph. You should have borrowed something from Trunks. My clothes are too small for you, Koneko."
"Well, Trunks doesn't know I'm here. He was really pissed off earlier and told us to go away. Dad and Gohan left, but I sneaked in here to make sure you were okay," he explained.
//Wow, he's still calling me that,// Goten thought happily. He liked being called kitten. He frowned suddenly. "Vegeta, why are you hiding your power level? It feels like you're weaker than my mom right now."
Vegeta froze. "I'm not hiding my power level," he said quietly, slipping his pants on then putting on a shirt. "My power is more or less gone for the next five months."
"Five months?" Goten repeated. "Why five months?"
"Saiyans carry children for four months. I won't regain the use of my powers for another month after that."
"Oh," Goten whispered. He looked like he was about to cry. "I'm really, really sorry Vegeta. I didn't mean for any of this to happen."
Vegeta sighed, sounding annoyed. "Look, Koneko, I already told you it wasn't your fault. Just damn Saiyan biology," he growled. "Come on, lets get you some clothes from Trunk's room to wear."
...
Chi-Chi stared at the computer screen in horrified shock. "Re-remind me never to complain about the human method of having children ever again," she said softly, still staring at what she had just read.
Trunks nodded absently, extremely worried. "The most painful part and the most likely to be fatal happens sometime within forty-eight hours of conception. Some rather large Saiyans with only one child have died from it. Dad's a lot smaller than the average Saiyan and he's carrying three."
Chi-Chi frowned. "Yes, but his power level is several times greater than what they're talking about in this."
"Not right now it isn't," Trunks explained. "Saiyan babies drain energy. With one, he'd be down to Piccolo's strength level. With three.... Well, you're not going to have trouble getting him to do anything because right his ki is probably lower than yours."
Chi-Chi shifted her gaze from the computer screen to him, but before she could say anything the doorbell rang.
...
"What are you doing here?" Trunks asked, glaring at Gohan.
"Well, Videl told me to leave and to come here," Gohan said. "So I did."
"A better question would be, what's *she* doing here?" a voice asked from the stairs. Everyone turned to see Vegeta stalking towards them, Goten following behind and dressed in some of Trunks's clothes.
He glared at Chi-Chi, his arms crossed over his chest. "I'm here to take care of you," she snapped irritably.
"Well, I don't need or want your help!" he snarled. "I can take care of myself."
"Really. And just how are you going to stop me from doing whatever I want?" she asked, walking over to him and poking him in the chest. "Your power level is lower than mine right now. I can do anything I want to you."
Vegeta cursed under his breath. "You'll have to catch me first," he muttered, then ran for the door, making it outside before anyone could stop him.
Gohan was the closest to the door so he went after him, grabbing him and dragging him back, kicking and cursing.
Gohan went back inside only to see his father and brother glaring and growling at each other. He set Vegeta down, wondering what on earth was going on.
Vegeta winced slightly as the two bonds he now had flared to life, making his mind feel like it was about to split in two. Then his eyes widened as an even worse pain shot through his body. He fell to his knees, clutching at his middle. The pain just got worse until he couldn't stand it anymore. He screamed in agony, then passed out.
