The night seemed to get darker as the clocked ticked and every minute passed. It was nearly one in the morning and Star hadn't called yet. Trunks sat on the couch staring down at his wife. She was beautiful in every way. Her long black hair sprawled out on his lap and her sweet smile as she sleeps on. She woke up as soon as the familiar sound of Stars motorcycle pulled up. They heard car doors slam and the doorbell ring an unfamiliar thing since star did live there.
Leo, Jay, Alice, Tabb and Harley stood there with tear stained and sad looks upon their childlike faces.
" Hey guys." Said Pan, " Where's Star"?
Leo started, " Umm about Star well maybe umm both of you should sit down". They all walked into the house and took seats by the fireplace. Pan and Trunks looked at the concerned faces of teenagers they had known all their lives. Tabb got up very slowly and walked to the window.
" Trunks, Pan. Star is not doing very well. You see we went out tonight. Just for some harmless fun. The girls looked great each wearing something that well made them look hot; as usual. We got to the club and all had a round of drinks. Then we got up to dance after hours of dancing, laughing, and some fun. Star went to the bathroom to...". Tabb couldn't go on anymore, he was all choked up and crying. Alice went over to him and hugged him closely as his tears rolled down his face. Harley took over for him.
" Well you see what Tabb is trying to say is that star went to the bathroom to freshen up and while she was in there the place was attacked by a couple of guys. They started to shoot off their guns and steal anything they could get their hands on. When the cops showed up and arrested them we went to go look for star in the bathroom. And met with one of the guys who had a gun. The guys stopped him." "And I found star laying on the bathroom floor. She had been shot." Jay went on.
" What...what"? Was Trunks and Pan's answer " where is she now"? "Leo cut in " they took her to the hospital and we came straight here to tell you two." Alice looked up and stated " We're really sorry. We didn't know and we'll understand if you hate us forever." Pan calmly looked up and wiped the tears from her eyes " It's not your fault and I'm sure she's just fine. I mean Star is a very strong person nothing gets in her way." After a brief talk and getting everyone to calm down the seven half Saiyans left Capsule Corporations household and flew to the hospital.
When they arrived Trunks and Pan where informed that star was in the ER. She had three bullet wounds, two in her chest and one in her arm. She was barley breathing when she arrived at the hospital and the doctors got her breathing to become steadier but the bleeding was heavy. All they could do now was sit and wait.
5 hours later
" Mr. and Mrs. Briefs." The doctor stated. The two worried parents stood up " YES". " Star has come out of a successful procedure. Her breathing is normal and the bleeding has stopped. We want to keep her overnight for observation and if everything checks out she can leave tomorrow morning."
" Can we see her"? Asked Trunks. " Of course right this way Mr. Briefs"
All of them went to go see Star she was looking well. After they all talked to Star and most of them went home. The night passed to day and the Star headed home for some leisure time and to talk to someone special....
