Chap 13- Chitoki's fate…..

Goku and Vegeta both looked on in horror as Zarbon tightened his strength on Chi and Bulma….

It took every ounce in Vegeta's body not to rush up to the great ugly slime ball and rip him apart, but he knew if he did; he would be risking hurting either Bulma or Chi.

Goku just stared in awe as Chi was struggling to get air; she was starting to change colour to a purplish blue and was paling quickly.

Then just as Zarbon grabbed Chi he let her go; but he still had Bulma and wasn't about to let her go without a fight!

"Put her down now you ugly frog!..!" threatened Vegeta as he edged closer to Zarbon and was constantly powering up….

Goku by this time had rushed over to the now semi conscious Chi and was nursing her in his arms.

Bulma was struggling in the strong grip that the older alien had upon her.

"Whets wrong Vegeta? Soft spot…..?" said Zarbon as he strengthened himself and put more pressure on Bulma's weak little neck.

This made her squeal out in pain.

Every time she cried out in agony this made Vegeta more and more angry until he couldn't hold it in any longer!

Everybody was too busy with the Zarbon's brutal assault that they did not notice the large ship land on the far side of the planet.

"Vegeta!!!!" screamed Bulma as loud as she could as Zarbon started to power up slowly sending electric impulses right up her which made her cry out in pain from the immense power he had over her.

"Put her down!" threatened Goku as he lied Chi down against the split rock and started making his way over to Vegeta and the enemy.

"You are going to die…." Vegeta said as he powered up yet even more, the sky darkened at the amount of power he was letting off it was becoming more and more stronger by the second.

"Wow! I never knew Vegeta could…. Let off that much power….. It's even more than me…." Goku said awed at the rage the Sayan prince was getting himself, into and the amount of power he was getting ready to let off.

"Release her NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ordered Vegeta as he let out a great big blast that shot straight at Zarbon and hit the ground.

The shock of the closeness of the attack and the amount of energy it had scared Zarbon so much that he dropped Bulma!

That was when Goku jumped in and grabbed Bulma before Zarbon got her again,

"Goku Son! Put me down now!!!!!" ordered Bulma kicking and screaming until Goku placed her on the floor again.

It was then that Bulma noticed Vegeta was beating the shit out of Zarbon completely!

Blood was flying everywhere half of Zarbon's green hair was laying on the floor, Zarbon didn't stand a chance! And with every punch Vegeta was giving him, the young Sayan prince was only getting stronger!

*two minutes later*

Goku flew into the fight to see if their was much left after Vegeta's assault on the evil green warrior,

Little did they know throughout the whole one sided battle they were being watched under the careful eyes of Freeza!

"Let me go!...!" threatened Vegeta trying to pull away from Goku,

"I'm not going to! Look at him already!" said Goku diverting Vegeta's attention to the bloody body of his rival.

"And your point is….?" Said the Sayan prince sarcastically as Goku released his grip on him and let him go.

"That he's learnt his lesson! So leave it be! Don't lower yourself to his level Vegeta….." warned Goku, but this just flared Vegeta up again.

"I don't care! He could have… have killed Bulma…." Said Vegeta bitterly looking at Bulma who had came walking over to Vegeta to give him a great big comforting hug to cool him down.

"Yes I know…. But…. He is hurt really badly…. And if I were you…. I would…" Goku said before he was rudely cut off by Vegeta.

"Hurt! Well what do you think I'm going to do…! Give him a pat on the back and say anytime mate! Next time you can just go and beat the shit out of…." Vegeta was arguing directly at Goku but before he got to finish he was cut of by a sound of laughter behind them…. From behind the rocks on the north side…..

"Bravo Vegeta…. A Sayan if I ever saw one before!" said an icy perverted voice…..

It was Freeza! And his crony Durdoria!

Freeza then signalled to the pink blob standing next to him which strolled out from behind the rock and walked over to the battered body of Zarbon.

It then proceeded to carry Zarbon back to north, where their ship had been hidden.

"Freeza!?....." Vegeta said in an awed and scared voice,

Bulma just started hugging Chi in fear….. Whilst Goku was getting prepared for a battle!

"Yes my little slave…. And you and your friends are in a lotof trouble!" the lizard said in its icy voice, whilst giving Vegeta a satisfied glare.

"In fact I have never seen you fight like that before!" said Freeza in a strange voice even as though he was impressed.

Vegeta stepped in front of Bulma defensively; this didn't seem to affect Freeza at all,

"Now I think you all owe me a big apology!!!" the lizard erupted getting angry all of a sudden and losing all its calmness in its voice.

Bulma just cowered behind Vegeta in fear; Chi was doing the same with Goku, who was still arching up ready for a battle.

"Well…. Or do I need to teach you all a lesson anyway…." Said Freeza icily and purposely glaring at the Sayan prince, the only way it was noticeable about the fight he had just had was the small nose bleed and the small scratch on his arm,

"Would it really make any difference….?" Vegeta said snidely and with disgust in his voice.

Then as quick as he said that Freeza shot a ki blast that moved so fast and shot him right in the stomach!

"VEGETA!!!" Bulma screamed as she bent down to help her wounded boyfriend, Goku then was starting to power up, but he didn't last long,

He took a blow to his head and was knocked unconscious immediately,

"How pathetic! Worthless monkeys!" Freeza said evilly as he started to amazingly walk away,

"Goku!!!" Chi said crying as she carefully nursed his hurt head and cradled him in her arms.

Bulma didn't know what to do she had a little medical experience but she had no training in the martial arts…

Vegeta then stirred and moaned in pain as Bulma snuggled up closer to him and stroked his hair whilst trying to comfort him.

"Don't worry… we'll get you back to the base…. Somehow…." Bulma said as she continually cuddled him.

Goku was also partly awake at this point and was moaning and holding his head.

*Suddenly a shape emerged from the distance at top speed*

"Oh no….. Not more….." Bulma thought pleading as she kissed Vegeta's forehead, he was still moaning in agony.

Chi was panicking at this point,

"Bulma! What do we do? I'm scared….." Chi said as she cuddled Goku who was now coming round from the hit on his head.

"Bulma! It's… Radditz! We're saved!!!" Chi said cheering in excitement as she recognised the person immediately.

"Quick… we'll have to get them back to the base ASAP!" Radditz said as he picked up both Vegeta and Goku and got ready to fly off,

"Wait! We can't fly! Hold on!!!" said Bulma as she jumped on his back and held on to his neck whilst Chi just clung onto his legs as they took off to his ship.

*three hours later back at the base*

They took the fast way home through the black hole and arrived back at the base within minutes.

Goku had come round and had his head in a bandage and Vegeta was floating in and out of consciousness,

But both had survived.

"Oh don't worry Bulma; he should be fine by the morning! He's always in here for some reason or another….." the nurse said bright and cheerfully.

"Thanks…." Bulma said sleepily she had, had a really rough day and was really tired,

"Is he alright…..?" Goku said unsurely as he appeared through the doorway with Radditz at his side.

"Yeah he'll live…" Bulma said as she started to drift off to sleep.

*The next morning*

Bulma was awoken to hear screams of fear coming from the room next door,

She then heard some laughter and some shouts.

She looked to see how Vegeta was, (she was in the chair next to the bed)

He had gone!

Goku, Chi and Radditz had also gone back to Radditz' place,

Bulma then got up and decided to wonder around, it didn't take her long as she followed the direction of the shouts.

"VEGETA! Leave that alone!" a crazy old aged nurse was shouting throughout the whole hospital.

Bulma started smirking immediately, at least he was alright!

She then turned her attention to the clock on the wall it was 10-30 am already! (So long for the beach idea)

Just as she looked at the clock Vegeta darted in front of her from the door outside, running with a needle in his right hand chasing no one other than Goku!

Chi was screaming along with the old nurse and having a go at both Sayans as Vegeta was chasing the petrified Sayan with…. - a blunt needle.

But Goku being Goku must have believed it was a real one that Vegeta was going to stab him with.

When Vegeta noticed Bulma though he stopped his clowning around and slung the needle to the side, so that he could greet his girlfriend.

"Guess what?" Vegeta said smugly grinning like mad,

Bulma put on a confused expression and then started laughing like mad once Vegeta told her what he had been informed by the nurse.

"I can't work for another whole week!! Then… its school! So I can only work weekends!.." Vegeta said not being able to control his actions as he started bounding up and down in happiness.

Then she got serious again,

"So how come it didn't take you nearly as long to heal than it did last time….." she said as she kicked an abandoned deflated football out of the way.

"Because… Freeza may not know this, but every time he uses that ki blast attack thing on me…. The more I become immune to it and the quicker I heal! It's a Sayan thing….. But the same cant be said for just beatings…" Vegeta explained to his confused girlfriend as they walked out of the hospital ward room hand in hand.

"Hey you two wait up!..." panted an out of breath Chi as her and Goku ran down the hall after Bulma and Vegeta.

They all walked down the corridor back to Radditz' place,

They were greeted the moment Goku's hand came in contact with the doorbell by a pale looking Nappa,

"Where have you been prince Vegeta? You are in so much…." Nappa gushed angrily before he was cut off by Vegeta as he stepped into the door, completely ignoring his caretaker. (Nappa is suppose to look after Vegeta when he is a kid, but he can't handle him)

"Hey Radditz what's up?" said Vegeta as he welcomed himself in and sat down on the sofa next to Radditz and Valencia.

Radditz' face was just that of pure surprise, he didn't know that Vegeta could heal that quickly, even for him!

So Vegeta informed Radditz and Nappa on everything that had happened on Zoose and told them the actual reason why they went there.

Bulma and Chi were just sitting down on the sofa talking to Valencia about there experience on Zoose,

"Why didn't you say anything!" screamed Valencia in surprise and excitement at the same time.

"What? Say what?" said Bulma and Chi both at the same time.

"Chitoki….. The earthling! She was…. My best friend….. Why didn't I see the resemblance! You and her!" cried Valencia looking at Chi and pointing excitedly.

Everyone in the room was silent… even Nappa who was now giving icy glares to everybody especially Radditz and his new girlfriend for influencing the kids.

"Well is she…. Dead…." Chi said quietly as Bulma put her arms around her to comfort her best friend,

"No! No! well…. I don't think so…. The last I saw of her was….. She was summoned to Freeza exactly six days ago…." Said Valencia as she started to burst into tears about the realisation of what had probably happened to Chitoki.

Chi soon joined her in a flood of tears and then Bulma joined in as well, the guys all gave each other strange looks, they wanted to comfort the girls but they didn't want to go the wrong way about it.

It was strangely Nappa, who was the one to stop the silence,

"Well….. She might well still be alive….. Remember everyone…, Lord Freeza does have quite a few consorts"Nappa said this last word as if it was dirty,

Vegeta and Radditz both pulled disgusted looks at the thought of the suffering Chitoki must be going through if she was alive….

"What do you mean a consort…?" Bulma said dabbing her eyes with a tissue,

Then Vegeta explained the whole way Freeza worked if he had females bought to him, depending on what sort of mood he would be in, he may just destroy them or give them away to his loyal subjects. Or maybe if he likes the look of her he would keep her to himself and force her to do things that she didn't want to do. E.G rape her.

"Now you say that…. I do remember seeing a girl about my age…..she looks a lot like Chi…. It was a couple of days ago…" Radditz murmured as he put his arms round Valencia to comfort her,

"Really! So she may be alive…!" Chi said excitedly as she sprung up off the chair,

"Yes… but there is no way she can escape…. Freeza will have her guarded all the time along with his other consorts….. I'm sorry" Nappa said as he walked into the door and sat down for the first time.

Vegeta and Goku just looked down at the ground; both were thinking exactly the same thing.

"Poor girl…"
