Chap 15- The battle for life

Everybody in the room was staring at what had just happened, it had only been a split second, but in that time Vegeta had powered up and punched the guard twice, once Right Square in the jaw; the second was in the stomach, then the guard was out cold on the floor.

All the woman and girls in the tiny room looked on astonished at how the prince had managed to overthrow the guard that seemed impossible to defeat by almost everybody that had came past.

Infact-…. It had never happened before….

"Free!!!!!!!! After 6 years!!!! Free!!!!!" shouted one woman, she must have been about 40 at least.

Most of the woman ran out of the door at the chance they had and stomped over the unconscious bleeding body of the guard on the way, but others were reluctant to leave;

"Well!!!! Are you going to leave or what!!!!" screamed Valencia at the stragglers, who seemed to be in two minds about going,

Valencia was bent down along with Chi, and both were gently stroking Chitoki's hair and telling her everything was going to be ok,

Bulma was walking over to the last person left at this point, with Vegeta at her side,

It was a teen girl she must have only been about 18 the most and she looked petrified, She had lime green hair and purple eyes, and she looked really under weight and had bruises all over her face,

Bulma bent down with and sat on the floor to be the same height as the girl, Vegeta just stood there and watched his girlfriend try and talk the girl round into leaving; after all there wasn't much he could do!

"Hi! My names Bulma and you are?" said Bulma casually and brightly holding out her hand to the frightened person,

"Sss…sasha…. Sasha brown…. Please... don't hurt me!..." Sasha said shaking with fright and putting her face into her hands as if trying to protect herself,

"Don't worry… you can go if you want… everybody else has…." Bulma said putting her arms round the older girl and comforting her,

"I'm… scared… I need to go home… but master Zarbon said…." The woman said before Vegeta cut in,

"Zarbon won't do anything to you! Just go now and find the nearest pod or ship or whatever to your home planet and leave! While you have the chance!!!" Vegeta said pulling Bulma up, and dragging her over to Chitoki who was now just conscious and was screaming in pain, more blood coming out her cut leg, and it was seeping onto her white gown more and more.

Bulma ran over to Chitoki and started to wrap tissues on her leg, whilst Vegeta turned the other way along with Goku, and Radditz,

"I really can't stand the sight of blood…" Vegeta said sitting down on the floor,

Goku followed suite,

"Yeah do you think it's a Sayan thing?? I'm no good with that either…. And" Goku shuddered when he said the next word, "needles"

Vegeta nodded with Goku and actually for once agreed with him,

Radditz just stayed standing up and seemed to be looking at the door for a sign of Nappa, who was watching out for other guards,

"Vegeta…." Bulma said calling Vegeta anxiously,

Vegeta didn't look around he tried not to; but he still replied anyway,

"Yeah…. she needs treatment…." Vegeta said almost reading Bulma's mind,

Bulma looked surprised but Vegeta still wasn't facing her so he didn't notice,

"Yeah… if we don't get her to a specialist soon…. then…." Bulma stopped when Chitoki screamed in agony once again,

It all happened in about a second,

Goku was up and he picked up Chi at the same time,

Then Radditz with Valencia,

"What the….?" Vegeta said in surprise as Nappa came in and joined in with the `removal'

Nappa picked up Chitoki and flew out of the room with her closely followed by Goku and Radditz,

"Quick… she needs to go to a place with equipment…." Bulma said holding onto Vegeta's shoulders as he picked her up and flew after the others,

He just had enough time to look behind him and noticed that Sasha had disappeared from sight obviously to go and take their advice and go and find some craft to travel in.

They all flew down the corridors and halls and through an assortment of doors, until they finally reached the medical section that they had been at earlier with Vegeta.

Nappa quickly mounded the injured Chitoki onto a stretcher type bed, and then laid down in a wooden chair that was propped up against a wall on the far side of the room,

Chi and Goku ran off to find help; with Radditz and Valencia talking to some security guard person at the door of the building,

*4 minutes later*

"Where about's are they in here? It's huge!" Bulma said as she looked from left to right,

Vegeta just shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the left and looked around the corner and then walked back to the right and looked round that corner, both looked exactly the same,

"Well... if you wouldn't have insisted upon apologizing to the old blind man about the cart than we would have been here a lot sooner AND we wouldn't have had to fly away and play `chase' with the guards that are hunting the halls for trouble makers.. Would we?" Vegeta said angrily trying not o make eye contact with Bulma, because he knew if he would he wouldn't be able to stay angry at her.

"Oh sorry! But I do care you know... I can't help it! I have manners and I feel guilt! `M.r prince of all Sayans look at me I can do whatever I want and not feel guilty!'" Bulma mocked Vegeta then playfully stuck her tongue out at him, before he wrestled her against the wall and they just playfully fought with each other for about a minute,

That was before they met up with the others,

They were all running along the corridor with Chitoki on the trolley thing being pushed by a doctor aged about 60 and a red haired nurse of about 30.

Both seemed to be talking in there own language with all complicated words that only Bulma out of everybody could understand to everyone else it seemed foreign,

"So is that what's wrong then?" Bulma asked running alongside the red haired nurse, after being filled in with all the complicated words (sorry but we are only fifteen so how the heck are we supposed to know big doctor words??? Just imagine them! If you want them that bad)

"Yes but she's defiantly going to need to go in the regeneration tank… but she'll be fine!" assured the male doctor to Bulma as they slowed down and entered a door,

Regeneration tanks were lined up everywhere, some were being occupied others were not,

"Well we can carry on from here thanks, you go get some drink, you must be shocked…" said the nurse as she ushered the gang out of the room and left them in the corridor closing the door behind then,

"Poor Chitoki…." Said Valencia quietly as they slowly made there way back to Vegeta's,

"Hey you lot don't worry… she'll be fine! I promise, those tanks work miracles don't they you two!" Radditz said as he hugged Valencia as they were walking at the same time,

Vegeta and Nappa just nodded and carried on in their silent walk, Vegeta holding hands with Bulma and Goku with Chi and also comforting her at the same time,

"So are we still set for the beach tomorrow? Or the theme park?" Vegeta said trying to stop the silence that was really bothering him,

"Or let's sort it out tomorrow…." He said sarcastically,

"Crap, school's only two days away!" Goku said sadly as he pouted, (sorry but we can't remember what days they had left in the other chaps so it's now 2 days SORRY!)

This made all the gang except Nappa make a whimpering kind of sound,

Nappa was thinking the opposite,

`Yes!! No more stealing ships! No more having to keep an eye on him!'

Then the bad thoughts came into his mind…

`Wait… that wont last for long… he'll be getting kicked out again, and then that means more meeting with teachers…. Damn it! Is he not old enough to go to them stupid meetings himself?' Nappa thought angrily, as he kicked a fire extinguisher in anger and it dropped to the floor with a loud BANG!

Everybody turned round to see a red faced Nappa taking big breaths trying to calm himself down,

*puff* *puff* *puff* *puff* *puff* *puff* *puff* *puff*

Vegeta found this highly amusing,

"Wow! I am good I can piss him off with my thoughts…" Vegeta said in a weird sort of way when he said `thoughts' he pulled a funny face and actually looked like he was on something, this made Bulma cheer up really quickly and she burst into a fit of giggles,

They arrived at Vegeta's place in a few minutes

"Man I have sooo much energy to burn off!" said Goku flexing his arms in and out and swinging from side to side,

"Yeah me too!" Vegeta said as he narrowly missed Goku with a playful ki blast,

"Oh so you wanna spar do you!!?" Goku said pretending to be angry but actually looking like a complete fool,

"WHY NOT!" Vegeta shouted trying to be hard like Goku,

Bulma and Chi just turned away and started to burst into a fit of giggles,

"So are you joining in Radditz?" Goku offered holding out his hand to his older brother,

Radditz was sitting comfortably on the chair with his arms around Valencia and he just gave them both a lazy smile,

"Sorry guys but… I just can't be pissed to mess around I'm crushed…" Radditz replied as he drank down the rest of his soda on the table,

"You know if you aren't careful you'll turn out to be like Nappa- very lazy!" Vegeta said as he rebounded off one of Goku's blasts and it just disappeared into nowhere,

"Hey Vege…" Bulma said walking up to her boyfriend and saying it really sweetly,

"What do you want now?" Vegeta said smiling; he guessed that she wanted something, it was the look she was giving him and how she was fluttering her eyelashes,

Chi just blew her nose on a tissue that Goku had given her earlier, she really couldn't be bothered to get involved with Bulma's flirting, she was too busy with her own thoughts and worries about Chitoki,

"So let me get this straight…" Vegeta said as he stopped sparring and faced the three girls,

"Yes…" Bulma said nodding her head,

"You… want US... to all go on a triple date..!" Vegeta said as he hung his mouth open in surprise,

Bulma just nodded her head repeatedly like one of those little nodding dogs or cats or whatever that you have in the back of your car. (They are so darn cool! Lol)

All three of the guys sweat dropped at the though of having to take their girlfriends out all at the same time,

`Crap! What if she wants to go shopping again?' Vegeta thought, then he shook the thought away, `man I'm just scaring myself!' he assured himself as he looked to try and work out what the other guys were thinking;

Goku seemed to be in his own little dream world and seemed fascinated with his belt on his orange outfit meanwhile Radditz was concentrating hard on a split end and was trying to comb it out of his hair and not leave any damage, both were obviously thinking the same thing,

`Please NO shopping…..'

"So…. Geta… is there a pool around here anywhere?..." Bulma asked sweetly as she walked over to him and put her arms around him and gave him a funny kind of cuddle,

"Yeah..." Vegeta choked out, he was just too busy closing his eyes and trying to block out the pairs of eyes focused on him and Bulma,

"So…. Can we go on our first official date tonight to the pool…..?" Bulma said as she whispered something into Vegeta's ears and he blushed he looked even redder than a tomato.

"Yeah... I guess…. I'll go get my stuff…." He said as Bulma kissed him on the cheek and followed him to his room,

Radditz then got up off the sofa followed by Goku and Chi and Valencia,

"Yo you 2… we'll be back in about 10 minutes ok…?" Radditz called into there door all he heard in respond was,

"Do you think I should wear the blue bikini, or the pink…. Maybe red… or the rainbow one!..." it was Bulma trying to decide which bikini to put on,

"Yeah sure don't be long!!" Vegeta called after Radditz,

"We're going swimming! YES!" Goku said bouncing up and down like an excited little kid that's hypo on sugar,

"Goku Son! If you mess around in there…." Warned Chi as she dragged Goku out of the door and into the hall, closely followed by Radditz and Valencia,

Then Nappa came out as well;

"I'll see you later Radditz, I've got to go and serve a mission to that scumbag Freeza I should be back in a couple of hours,

"Yeah ok… best to get it over with while your still awake huh big guy, see you in a little while then!" Radditz called after patting Nappa on the shoulder and darting off in front to catch up with his brother, Chi and Valencia.

"See you later Nappa!" Goku called but Nappa was gone just like that, all they could see was a tail darting round the corner,

(All the Sayans have got tails in this fic by the way and that includes Goku and Vegeta)

*15 minutes later*

Radditz, Valencia, Chi and Goku were all dressed in their swim wear Goku was wearing some orange swim trunks, Radditz some black swim shorts, and Chi was wearing a green swimming bikini and Valencia a red one.

"You're late!" greeted Vegeta as he opened up the door himself dressed in some blue swim shorts.

"Thanks!" said Goku cheerily as he stepped inside,

Bulma was darting from room to room she had finally decided upon wearing her pink bikini- it was bright but looked really cool with her bluey coloured hair.

"Have you seen…?" Bulma said but she stopped when Vegeta held up a pink beach towel with her name in sparkles on it he was smiling,

"Oh cheers! You had it all that time!" Bulma said laughing as she wrapped the towel around her waist and headed out of the door followed by Vegeta, who like Radditz and Goku had his towel wrapped around his neck.

"The pools about a 5 minute flight from here so hold on" Vegeta said as he surprised Bulma by grabbing her from behind and powering up all of a sudden,

Both the others powered up and held their girlfriends too;

And then they got increasingly closer to the pool…..
