Goku and ChiChi yet have another fight but will this one finally decide their fates?
Is It Over?
"Where were you Chi?" said Goku as he sat on the bed with his arms crossed. He was glaring at her but not as hard because he was worried about her absence. He gave her a closer look and noticed her hair was messed up and her makeup was smudged.
"I--I was with Bulma," she said looking away from him. She placed the bags next to the closet and walked to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror and gasped at her complexion. She looked horrible and she didn't want Goku to find out what happened to her. She had to make up an excuse and fast. She heard him come inside the bathroom and she lowered her head. "I didn't expect you to come back," she said while washing her face.
"I was thinking a lot today," he said lowering his voice.
"Oh really?" she said as she got out of the bathrrom and went to the drawer. She stopped and turned to face Goku. "So what were you thinking about?"
"Us," he said softly as he came out the bathroom. He looked at her and saw her face get a little sad. "What happened to you?"
"Nothing," she said quickly. "There's nothing wrong."
He walked towards her and was now in front of her face. She was getting more nervous as he tried to look in her eyes. She tried to get away from his stare but it was useless.
He gently grabbed her face and looked into her eyes. "Someone did something to you," he said angrily.
How did he know? She didn't give him any hints at least she thought she didn't. She couldn't keep it inside her anymore. She bursted out crying as she placed her head on his chest.
He was in complete shock by her reaction. He sat her down on the bed and took her hands. "What happened?" he asked her.
"Oh, Goku," she said still crying. "I'm too ashamed."
"Ashamed of what?"
"Me and Bulma were stranded," she began, "and we didn't have a spare car so we had to take the bus. When her stop came she got off and I had to walk the rest way home. I was walking around ten thirty and wanted check up on Goten. I saw a bar and went inside to use the pay phone." She hesitated and looked away.
"Please Chi," said Goku. "Tell me."
She sighed deeply and continued. "There were two men behind me looking at me very strangely. I got scared so I left." She closed her eyes as she got flashbacks of the scene. "I guess they were following me and......"
"What did they do to you?" he said, getting angrier.
"They took me in an alley and.....oh Goku!" She started to cry again and he wrapped his arms around her.
"Oh ChiChi," he said while gently massaging her head. "Those bastards! They did something to you? Oh, kami I wished I was there. Then they would have to deal with me"
"They didn't do anything because Tony came," she said lowly.
"Tony was there?!" he said almost shouting. He stepped away from her and paced back and forth. "He was in this too?!"
"No," she said while getting up. "He saved me from those creeps."
He looked at her angrily. "And you were with him all this time?"
"I fainted from all the shock and he took me to his house."
"To his house? Why couldn't he take you back here?"
"I don't know," she said annoingly. "At least he saved my life. Don't you care about that? Of course you don't. You don't care what happens to me." She held back her tears though her face was damped form her previous crying.
"That's not true," he said while getting closer to her. "You mean the world to me."
"Just stop it Goku!" she cried. "So why did you come back here, huh? To get your things? Is that it?" She walked to the closet and took out clothes form the hanger. "Here take your things."
He walked up to her and grabbed her wrist. "Stop it ChiChi," he said quietly. "You're gonna to wake up Goten."
"I don't care," she yelled. "I just want you to be truthful with me. I can easily move back with my father and you can be happy on doing what you love most. She sat on the floor and covered her face.
Goku watched her silently and picked up his clothes. "Alright," he said. "If that's what you want then I'll leave. You don't have to go to your father's house. I'll go live somewhere else."
"Where are you going to stay?" she said, sniffling a little.
"Don't worry about it," he said while putting the clothes in a suitcase and opening the door. "You just take of yourself ChiChi. And remember that I'll always love you no matter what happens." With that he closed the door behind him leaving silence. He opened the door to his son's room and watched him sleep peacefully. He walked up to him and bent down to give him a kiss. "Take care of your mother son," he whispered softly. He walked out and as he flew off he took one last look at the house. He never expected this to happen. The've been together for so long that he couldn't get use to it and he probably wouldn't.
Meanwhile ChiChi was laying on her bed laying face down. She was looking at a picture frame next to her bed. It was a recent picture her father took before Goku went off to train Ubb. They were at the beach ready to leave back home. They looked so happy at the time. She didn't understand what happened. She felt like it was her fault that she drove Goku away. But he was always leaving her and never returning back to her arms. She wanted to feel affection and important and she felt that he wasn't giving her any of it. She then thought about how nice Tony was treating her. She did like him but it was only as a friend. But he was in love with her. She didn't want her marriage with Goku get destroyed though. She just needed time to think things through. She closed her and slowly went to sleep dreaming about her how her life would be like if she married Tony instead of Goku.
