Loud sounds of whips lashed the air with cracking screams. Smoke surrounded the dungeon of the charred flesh and blood, creating bile in the throats of wonderers. Guards crowded around the prisoners, cold laughs escaping their lips, cruel smirks of satisfaction resulting from their pain and hopelessness. Raising their whips, their beatings tore the skin off the backs of the Saiyans.
Shackles and chains restrained the remains of the once strong race. Their victory was lost. Their freedom gone forever. Never again will they reign the high universes again. Only hope remained in their minds, hope of the Legendary. Hope for their child Prince.
large man covered in his own blood crawled to one of his fellow inmates. Tears threatened to pour from his eyes to see his great friend perishing, slipping into death's cold grip. The other man opened his eyes slightly, pain etched in lines across his face with a long sigh of defeat.
"My son," he rasped out of his mouth, acknowledging the presence of the larger man.
"Father, hold on ," the younger man said as he tore off a piece of his battered clothes to tend to the large wound across the elders face.
"The angel of mercy has come to collect me for my sins, son. Do not bother for I will be cold in minutes if not less."
"Try not to talk, you are wasting your energy." The young man's brows fused together in strained concentration.cruel, cold laugh emerged from his mouth.
"Raditz, my eldest son, you have followed me and respected me in the highest. You have lived through these perishes along beside me. You deserve the highest honor for your dedication to me and your King. But our time has seen its last. My visions prove to be of truth. You must rise above us and protect the prince. You must be his guide. You have great power, my son, and you will break these chains of blackness. Find the child prince. Take him from this place. If you do not, he will be broken by that bastard. Find him before it is too late." Coughs and wheezes erupted from the older man's throat, signaling his end.
"Father, please, stay longer! I cannot retrieve his majesty without you! I need your wisdom and strength!" Moisture glistened around his eyes as raw emotion poured through his veins and gripped his heart.
"You will, my son, you will." His throat gurgled its last as his lungs emptied for the last time. His eyes fixated to the side as his soul and spirit vanished from his body.young man knelt there, frozen in grief before a loud battle cry erupted from his throat and energy sparkled around his body, breaking the ki shielding collars from his hands and feet.
