Chapter 3

Getting to Know Goku!

Chi Chi opened her door and hanged up her keys. Her mom was waiting for her.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" she asked.

"Oh nothing mom". Chi Chi said.

"No, I know something is wrong now please tell me Chi Chi". she demanded.

"Oh mom". she said and started to cry and hugged her. "Its going to be ok Chi." she said looking at her daughter.

"Now tell me what's wrong,honey?" she asked.

"Well mom you know Kobi right?" she asked and her mom nodded.

"Well the thing is he said he was going to be late on our date, so he said he will meet me at the club. But I was waiting for him for over 2 hours and he showed up when the club was closing and then I broke up with him. And told him to go away." she said while crying.

"Oh Chi Chi, don't worry everything will be fine. And I think he deserved it, he was to busy for u and you broke up don't worry you'll find someone else soon" she said.

"Thanx mom that makes me feel a little better". Chi Chi said.

"Well u know that I am going to go away tomorrow, so I want to give u something." she said and pulled out a golden box and opened it and gave Chi Chi a golden bracelet with sapphire diamonds over it.

Chi Chi gasped and said "Mom its beautiful, but why are u giving this to me now?". she asked curiously.

"Well Chi Chi this was ur grandmothers and she gave it to me on my 18th birthday. And I know ur 18th birthday is a month away but I think this the perfect time to give it to you." she said.

"When my mom gave it to me she told me something Always trust your Heart, and from then on I always trusted my heart and that's how I ended up where I am now today." Chi Chi's mother said.

"Wow mom thank you it's beautiful I will always cherish it." she said that and hugged her mom.

"Ok go upstairs Chi Chi and change and go to bed. I will leave early tomorrow ok so be good and don't worry everything will work out." she said smiling.

"Ok thanx mom I will call u later when u get back to the castle, Goodnight!" Chi Chi said and went upstairs.

"Goodnight" she said.

Saturday Morning!

Chi Chi woke up and went to the bathroom and took a shower. She went down stairs and the maid got her breakfast, she ate it and went outside on the front yard and started to train. "I haven't trained since I got here, I better warm up" she said and started to warm up. Then she thought she saw someone familiar in the house across from hers and it looked like Goku.

Then she screamed "Goku!" He turned around from his training and heard his name.

"Who could be calling my name?" he asked him self and then heard it again.

"Hey Goku its me Chi Chi!" she said screaming.

"Huh Chi Chi" he said to himself and turned around and saw Chi Chi standing at his gate.

"Hey Chi Chi, what are you doing here?" he asked.

"Well I saw you training, and since I live right across the street I came here." she said.

"Wow really I didn't even know you lived there. Do u want to come in?" he asked.

"Sure I'd love to. I didn't know you lived here either you know." she said.

"Oh, so do you know how to do martial arts?" he asked

"Well I have been doing it since I was 8, so yeah but I haven't had much practice." she said.

"So would you like to spar with me?" he asked.

"Um…sure, why not?" she said.

"Ok lets go" he said.

Now Goku and Chi Chi were in there fighting stances and were ready to go.

(AN: This is going to be like the world martial arts. So u might see some resemblance) Chi Chi started of with a roundhouse kick but Goku dodged it and she threw a few more kicks and punches and he dodged all of them, this made her a little bit annoyed.

"Ok Chi Chi get ready for my attack" he said.

He moved his hand back and in a great speed made a punch without even touching her and she was knocked out.

He ran over and said "Hey Chi Chi are you ok?" and took he to his living room and placed her on the couch.

She started to wake up "Chi Chi r u ok?" he asked in a concern voice.

"Huh…what?, Oh iam fine Goku, don't worry. But please tell me what happened?" she asked.

"Oh right well you got knocked out by my attack." he said sheepishly.

"Oh right I remember, wow! You didn't even touch me. That was a really good attack Goku!" she said.

"Thank you." he said with a big smile on his face.

"Um…Goku, can I ask u a question?" she asked nervously.

"Yeah sure" he said.

"Well I you know that guy… um what's his name….oh yeah Vegeta?" she asked.

"Yeah he is one of my best friends" he said. "why?" he asked curiously.

"Well I have heard him call you Kakarot once, why does he call you that?" she asked. "I mean I've known you since we were little kids and I've never heard anyone else call you that name, r u hiding something?" she asked curiously with one of her eyebrows sticking up.

"Well you see, man this is going to be hard to explain." he said.

"So u r hiding something" she said smirking.

"Well I guess you caught me there ur right, I am." he said smiling.

"So r u going to tell me!?" she asked.

"Well I better anyways, ok look Chi Chi this might be hard for u to understand but I am not from here." he said.

"what do you mean?" she asked.

"I am from a different planet, called planet Vegeta. I am a sayian." he said.

"What?! How is that possible?" she asked.

"Well u see I got to know that I am a sayian in my first year of High School" he said.

(AN: Just so you know right know there in there Senior Year of High School!)

*~Flashback~*

It was near midnight when there was a crash landing in Goku's back yard. Goku shot out of bed and went outside thankfully his grandfather wasn't here. When he went outside he saw three space ships and when it opened Goku got in his fighting stance. Then one person came out he was Radittz.

"Ah looks like we finally found you little brother." he said.

"What?! Who r u talking too?" Goku said.

" I am Goku and I don't have any siblings." he said.

"No your not you are a sayian named Kakarot." Radittz said.

"Can you prove that?" Goku asked.

"Well yes do you have a tail?" Radittz said holding out his own tail to show Goku.

"Well I did have one. How does that prove anything?" Goku asked very angry.

"You idiot you cut of your tail anyways every sayian has a tail." Radittz said.

'Goku couldn't believe this he did have a tail and so did this guy, could he really be a sayian?' "Well what do you want?" he asked.

"Well it looks like Kakarot didn't go out with his mission" said another voice it was King Vegeta.

"What mission is he talking about?" Goku asked.

"Your mission little brother, it was to destroy the planet but some how you lost your memory" Radittz said.

"I would never destroy the planet Earth, and if you guys have come to destroy it then I will fight you all!!!" Goku said.

"No we will not fight you, but since you haven't finished your mission we will have to stay here since our planet was destroyed by Frieza." King Vegeta said.

Well then after that King Vegeta and Vegeta found a house and stayed there like normal people Radittz stayed with Goku. And when everybody found out at school they were freaked out but got used to it.

*~End of flashback~*

There was a silence between them and then suddenly Chi Chi broke it.

"Well that explains why you eat a lot." she said while laughing.

"Yeah I guess it does" he said chuckling.

"I know you might feel a little weird right now, so its ok if you want to go home." he said.

"No its ok Goku, I mean its not like everyday you get to know that someone is an alien from out of space. Anyways Goku I have known you since I was a little kid and I am perfectly fine with it." she said smiling reassuring Goku that she was ok.

"That's good Chi Chi, it took everybody a long time to get used to this information, but ur perfectly fine with it that means a lot to me." he said.

"So where is your brother?" she asked.

"Well he is at college in New Jersey." Goku said.

"Oh that's nice, I want to go to New York so I can go to Harvard." she said.

"Wow that's really cool." he said. And they kept on talking an getting to know each other better.

A few Hours later!

"Well Goku I better go now". she said.

"Yeah it is getting late, should I take you home." he asked.

"Oh Goku I live right here, I can go" she said.

"But I will take you there faster and you will even get to see my powers." he said.

"Oh Ok, I'd love to see ur powers." she said.

"Ok I got one instant transmission" he said.

"The instant what?!" she said.

"You'll see, you have to hold on to me first." he said. So she went over to Goku and put her arms around Goku's neck and he put his arms around her waist.

"Ready to go?" he asked and she nodded her head. And they took of and before you knew it they were in Chi Chi's room.

"Wow how did we get here so fast?" she asked.

"Well you see instant transmission is a technique that I learned, where I can go anywhere in less then a minute." he said.

"Oh I get it, that's very impressive" she said. "Well you better go home Goku, I'll see you at school." she said.

"Um…Chi Chi can I ask you something" he said.

"Sure Goku" she said while smiling.

"Well I know you just broke up, but will you go out with me?" he said and said it really fast.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" she asked curiously. "Well um…no I mean Yes" he said smiling.

"Goku I'd love to go out with you" she said smiling.

"That's great, I'll pick you up at 7" he said.

"Ok Goku" she said. And he left her house. Then the phone started to ring,

Bring-Bring!!!

Phone Conv:

C: Hello?

K: Hello Chi Chi, how r u doing?

C: Kobi! Sorry but I have to go.

K: No wait Chi Chi, please listen to me!!

C: Fine I'll listen.

K: Come one Chi you didn't really mean all that stuff at the club about us breaking up.

C: I am sorry Kobi but I did. It's over between us.

K: No! No Chi Chi it can't I love you!

C: I am sorry Kobi but I don't love you. I have to go sorry bye!

And click that's what he heard on the other end of the phone. She sighed to herself and was thinking if she was doing the right thing and one thing she remembered from last night was her mother telling her to follow her heart. And that's what she was doing she really liked Goku ever since they were kids and she was going to go out with him tomorrow and she was really happy. Just then her phone rang again.

Phone Conv:

C: Hello?

B: Hey Chi Chi!

C: Hi B

B: Hey you haven't call me that in a very long time.

C: Yeah I guess I haven't

B: Well I heard you waited for Kobi for a long time I am sorry. That Jerk!!

C: It's ok B. Anyways I broke up with him when he came by yesterday

B: What?! You broke up with him.

C: Yes I did. And iam very happy about it.

B: Well that's good! So you want to go somewhere tomorrow night?

C: I can't!

B: Why?

C: Cause I have a date.

B: What? A date with whom may I ask

C: Goku!

B: Oh Goku. That's great since you guys always liked each other.

C: Bulma!! Anyways I am going shopping right now, so you want to come?

B: Sure I got nothing to do. Meet you at the mall. Bye!

C: Bye! See ya!

Chi Chi closed the phone and went outside and went in her car and drove of to the mall.

At Goku's House!

Goku was outside sparring and he thought about Chi Chi and he wanted to make this date very special. So he thought he should get her something special. So he flew into the sky and went to jewelry shop. And when he got there he went in and saw the perfect thing it was a gold chain with Sapphire diamonds all over the necklace. He noticed that she was wearing a Sapphire bracelet so this would be perfect to match it.

"Hello sir may I help you?" a salesman said.

"Yes I would like to buy that sapphire diamonds necklace. How much is it?" Goku asked.

"It is $100.00 sir" he said.

"I'll buy it. And can you please wrap it up." Goku said.

"Ok sir" he said. Goku paid the money and took the money left the store and flew home. He liked to fly rather than doing instant transmission.

At the Mall

"Hey Chi Chi" said Bulma waving at her.

"Hi B, Whts up?" Chi Chi said.

"Oh nothing. So when did Goku ask you out?" Bulma asked.

"Today right before you called. Why didn't u ever tell me Goku lives right across from me!?" she asked

"I guess it slipped my mind" she said smiling sheepishly. "Well anyways what r we doing today?" Bulma asked.

"Well 2day u have to help me by a dress for the date tomorrow." Chi Chi said.

"Ok then come on" Bulma said pulling Chi Chi.

At the stores!

"What do you think of this one?" Bulma asked. It was a red dress short to her knees and had spaghetti straps.

"No I want something blue like to match this necklace my mother gave me." she said and showed Bulma the necklace.

"Wow Chi! When did ur mom give this to you? Its beautiful." Bulma said.

"She gave it to me yesterday since she was leaving today. She was going to give it to me on my 18th birthday, but she said this will help me now." Chi Chi said.

"Wow! That's great its sapphire so we should find something dark blue." Bulma said.

"Yeah, so lets start looking." Chi Chi said. They looked on the racks and in a few different stores and finally on there 5th store they found something.

"Hey Chi how's this dress?" Bulma asked. It was a long navy blue dress with straps made out of blue diamonds and there was a stripe of diamonds going across the dress.

"Wow Bulma it's beautiful! How much is it?" she asked.

"Well about $80.00" said Bulma.

"Oh that's ok besides it's a date and I am a princess." Chi Chi said smiling took the dress from Bulma and admired it on her body. "Lets go buy the dress Bulma" she said.

"Ok come on" Bulma said while walking next to her best friend.

"Hey Chi Chi" a voice shouted.

"Did someone just say my name?" asked Chi Chi curiously.

"I think so" Bulma said. "Hey Chi Chi wait up." said the voice again.

"Oh no I think I know that voice it's Kobi's voice." Chi Chi said in a whisper.

"What?! Come on Chi Chi lets go we paid for the dress so lets go." Bulma said.

"Ok good lets go." Chi Chi said. Kobi ran a little faster and finally caught up with them.

"Chi Chi please can we talk." he asked.

" I am sorry Kobi but I have to go. And if this is about us breaking up then its true and you have to get over it." she said.

"But Chi Chi I love you please I can make this right again. How about I take you out tomorrow night and we can start all over again?" he pleaded.

"I am sorry Kobi but I don't love you and I already have plans for tomorrow night I have a date. I am sorry but it can't work for us." she said.

"Come on Chi, lets go." said Bulma. "Right lets go" Chi Chi said. And with that they left and Kobi was standing there in shock in how quickly she had gotten over him in one day.
