Get Down With The Sickness:
He sat in silence, obsidian eyes staring across the table at his father and brother. Gokou and Gohan were so quiet, but it was understandable. They had probably learned about his exchange with Videl and were upset with him, but at least they now knew that he would not let them be taken away… not without a fight, and for them, Goten would fight and blood would be shed.
Things were perfect now. The four of them were sitting together around a small wooden table, good thought slightly burned food around them, filling the air with the delicious scent of food. The mountain currently had a large dent in it, and that dent was growing more with each passing moment. Goten had eaten all he could and was quite content at watching his brother and father as Chichi darted back and forth from the stove to the table, serving and nibbling as she finished setting everything out.
It was a warm afternoon outside. Goten pondered the idea of the three men going out and fishing, spending the afternoon together, splashing in the river as they hunted the night's dinner. There was nothing to stand in the way of that happening. Vejita would no longer be after Gokou for spars. Videl would never come after Gohan begging for attention. Trunks wasn't around to peeve Goten off anymore.
Everything was right with the world.
Chichi rushed across the room, setting down a large bowl of rice in the center of the table. Gokou smiled at his wife almost somberly before shaking his head, sliding back in his chair with a smile. "I'm stuffed, really. I think I'll go out to Capsule Corporations."
Goten's eyes grew wide.
Chichi scowled. "Son Gokou! You spent all afternoon over there yesterday and got your clothes all bloody! I'm tired of washing blood out of your clothes!"
Goten chuckled. "Do you want him to go over there naked, Mom?" He rose to his feet, shaking back his raven locks. The horrified stare from Gokou went unnoticed by the youngest Son. Chichi chuckled, shaking her head at her son, before turning to Gokou. "Why don't you spend some time with your children for once? You're always running off from them as if they aren't important! Go hunting or something! But for Kami's sake, don't get your clothes bloody again!" The ningen onna rose to her feet, gathering empty dishes and continuing her rant. "I swear, you must think that your clothes grow on trees or something…"
Gokou's faint sigh was heard by his eldest son, as well as accompanied by it, but Goten merely perked up, mentally thanking his mother. "That's a great idea! C'mon, Gohan! Dad!" He darted off out of the kitchen and to his bedroom to change clothes.
Gohan watched with a sorrowful face as the hyper little chibi left the room. To Goten, life was perfect, as always. His careless innocence wouldn't permit darkness to lurk in the shadows. As far as his kid brother was concerned, Vejita, Videl, and Trunks were no longer factors in his life. All that existed were Gokou, Gohan, Goten, and Chichi. Nothing could break through the little bubble in his mind.
The fact that Gohan realized he was completely at Vejita's sick mercy didn't exist… nor did the fact that Gohan loved every moment.
He rose to his feet with a polite nod to his mother before turning and leaving the house, heading towards the river just a few miles away. Hopefully, if he got there soon enough, he could deal with the aching bulge beneath his pants that had resulted from the mere thought of Vejita Ouji.
"I'll… catch up," Gokou muttered awkwardly when Gohan glanced to him. He watched in silence as Gohan left, and the savior of Chikyuu was left with his infertile wife. Chichi stood next to the sink, water flowing from the faucet and filling up the sink so she could begin the dishes. Warm sunlight lit her face, making her appear almost quaint and content. She had no purpose anymore, except to feed and care for her children. That had become her life.
Gokou couldn't have that life. He needed so much more. The violence, the passion… everything that Trunks had given him in those brief panicked moments. Trunks' wild, crazy, kinkiness left Gokou throbbing for more. When around the lilac-haired prince, Gokou could almost taste the Saiyajin inside him striving for an escape, and in those moments his dark shadows were able to break free and he was almost reborn. It was a drug now. Gokou wanted Trunks again. He needed Trunks, to see the shimmering lilac hair, be beneath the hateful glare of angry azure eyes.
Just a little while longer, a voice inside his mind quietly whispered. After a few hours with Goten and Gohan, he could sneak away, go visit the young prince, touch him, hear his voice, feel his sharp nails running against pale skin… oh gods…
Goten reappeared in the kitchen, a bright smile on his beaming face. "Ready to go, Dad?" he exclaimed excitedly. Gokou turned sharply, a forced smile on his face. "Of course, Goten. Let's go." He left the kitchen without a farewell to his wife. Chichi smiled at Goten as the two left the household, a sweet smile on her aging face.
She had such a perfect family.
