Fear of Betrayal
“You worry too much, Frieza.”
“Not true, father. I’d just rather not risk being betrayed by one of my own men.”
“None of them would dare betray you! They know what would happen if they tried. You prove your ruthlessness often enough. They’re enslaved out of fear as effectively as chains.”
“Fear has bred hostility before and chains can be forged into blades. I take no chances.”
“Is that why you want that Saiyan brat? You think that race is a threat? That’s nonsense.”
“If only I could read minds or foretell the future, I would be able to stamp out any thought of insurrection before it spread like a plague.”
“The people of Kanassa have telepathic powers. Perhaps you can learn their secrets, Frieza.”
“I’m leaving, father. Inform my crew I want Kanassa secured by the time I get back from Planet Vegeta. Tell them to send the Saiyans.”
