Old People / Young People

“Where it is?” Roshi demanded, his sunglasses askew on his face.

“Not tellin’.” Goku said calmly.  He continued his morning stretches facing out over the ocean toward the glowing sunrise.

“This is the last time I’m going to ask!  Where is it?!”

“Nope.”

Roshi’s muscles bulged and grew as he forced energy into them.  Goku could sense power building behind him, but didn’t break from his routine.  He was used to his master’s temper tantrums.

“Then feel the wrath of my ultimate attack!” Roshi yelled, gathering a ball of pure energy between his hands.

“You wouldn’t dare!” Goku said, finally taking the old man seriously and turning to face him.

“Ka-me-ha-me . . .”

“All right!  All right!  I’ll tell you!”  He threw up his hands in surrender.  “Your box of magazines is under the porch.”

Instantly, Roshi returned to his normal size, the energy ball dissipating.  “About time,” he grumbled as he straightened his sunglasses and stormed off to retrieve his possession.

“Jeesh! I’ll never do that again,” Goku said to himself as he went back to his stretching.  “Old people are so touchy!”

“These young people today!” Roshi grunted, pulling his box across the sand.  “Absolutely no respect for their elders!”
