Almost there.
I can’t believe how fast this ship flies! Bulma’s dad did an excellent job in such a short time. The artificial gravity was an enormous help to my training. I couldn’t imagine how weak I would have been if I were just floating around for a week! I feel ten times stronger than I was on earth.

I can already feel the powerful forces coming from the planet. One in particular. That must be Freeza, the one King Kai is so worried about. I promised I wouldn’t fight him if I didn’t have to, but I know I will. He’s already killed so many innocent people. Our paths are sure to cross.

I’m so calm! How can I be so calm when I’m about to face powers stronger than me? My son and best friends are in danger and I’ll be fighting the toughest battle of my life, yet I feel absolutely no fear. It’s almost as if I have already won.

Hang on, Gohan; Piccolo has taught you well. Stay brave, Krillen; remember all we’ve already been through together. Be patient, Bulma; I’m sure we’ll get back home. Somehow.
