Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Dragon Ball New Generation ❯ Ongoing Search ( Chapter 4 )
Chapter Four : Ongoing Search
The atmosphere was cold and gloomy. It was a place where most humans would refuse to be, but there are always exceptions. A man wearing a coat, with light blue hair made his way to a large throne.
"Master, I have given the word and we are ready to depart as soon as you tell us too."
There was a stunned silence before the person sitting on the throne sighed. He smiled devilishly and crossed his dry wrinkly arms in satisfaction.
"Good to hear Koorogi."
He looked up to see three other of his men also ready for action.
"Muchi1, Muchi2 and Muchi3...go with Koorogi and gather the dragon balls at once. I've been waiting for 100 years for this moment, and I'm not going to last any longer. Quickly, go and locate them!"
The 4 members bowed to their leader in unison.
"Of course Master Semi."

At this time, Pan was at home. She was frustrated as she watched everything being done for her. Pan hated to feel useless.
"Are you sure you don't want me to help you Pastri?" Pan asked.
"Of course Grandma, now go sit down while I'll finish dinner and your lemon tea."
Pan sighed, but couldn't do anything about it. Her grand daughter was looking after her and always doing a good job of it. She looked after the garden, cleaned up the house, cooked, everything! Pan took her seat on a couch and picked up a magazine, before Pastri cried out. Pan jumped up.
"What is it?"
"I forgot we don't have the soya sauce for this dish I'm making!"
Pan rubbed her head. Here she thought it was like a monster attack.
"Can't you make it without it?" she asked.
"No! I need the sauce now!" Pastri argued.
Pan took a deep breath and called her grandson's name. Gokou Jr quickly entered the room holding a manga. Pan asked him to fly into the city and buy some soya sauce for the dinner and handed him some money. He willingly went because it was for food, and Pan knew that. Pastri called for him to hurry up and the boy soared away.

Vegeta and G continued to fly over the large city. Even after there 3 hour search, they still couldn't find who they were looking for...Nion.
"Where the heck is she? How could she disappear that fast?" G asked his little cousin. Vegeta looked around and became more irritated when he still couldn't find Nion. His hands clenched.
"Nion..." he mumbled silently.
Meanwhile, in Satan City, Nion was still chasing the butterfly all over town. She was in fact causing a lot of chaos, chasing it even across the roads. The cars screeched and all hit one another, and Nion didn't even notice it. She was still innocently chasing the flying creature when she saw a huge crowd gathering around the foot of a skyscraper. She walked over and pushed herself into the crowd to get a better look.
"He's trying to escape but he can't!" a woman cried.
Everyone, including Nion looked up to the top of the building where a man was trying to escape the fiery blaze of a fire outbreak. The firemen were able to rescue everyone in the building, but the man. All the entrances to the top were all gone up in flames.
"Some one save him!" another called.
Nion looked around at the scared people. She then squinted her eyes at the man and pretended to pick him up by her fingertips, but because it was only an eye illusion, of course that didn't work. Suddenly, another person landed onto the rooftop.
"Look!" an old man called. The unknown person quickly saved the man before the entire rooftop was engulfed by fire. People cheered as the person placed the man onto the ground.
"That was fine work Sage." said the chief fireman. The teenager smiled and wiped the soot from his face.
Nion was also cheering. She thought it was an amazing save. Nion clapped until she saw the butterfly in the distant. Wasting no time, she ran off, following it again into the outskirts of Satan City.
She soon found herself walking on the sidewalk of a road leading to the forest. Still chasing the butterfly, she followed it into the forest. Giggling with excitement, deeper and deeper she went into the forest until hardly no light could be visible. The trees were too large and there branches stretched everywhere. Nion eventually realized her surroundings and paused. The butterfly soon disappeared out of sight, and then she was alone. Alone in the dark forest where strange sounds echoed quietly. Nion grasped her arms and shivered. It was cold.
"Where am I?"
There were only large trees and plants, the typical things. Then she heard the sounds of trickling water. Curious as a kitten, Nion followed the melodious sounds until she came across the most beautiful waterfall she has ever seen. Instantly, Nion momentary forgot her dilemma and smiled as she stared at her reflection in the clear water. It was magnificent. Nion reached over the rock she was leaning over to get a better look at the fishes and the wildlife in the water when she heard a sound coming from above her. Scared, she slowly brought her gaze upwards to something that made her hairs stand on end. It's eyes returned her look. Nion was afraid...she longed for her family. They were always there for her, and again, she wanted them there to save her from this unknown. One thing for sure was that it wasn't human.
