Bra continued to freefall to the ground below, just slightly using her energy to maneuver herself eastbound. Halfway on the trip, she was coming too close to the ground, and was forced to use her ki to fly, praying that Baby Jr. wouldn't feel her in any way.
Fortunately, she finally made it to her destination without detection. She landed by three houses, which were occupied by the Son family, in an area which was now slowly developing into a small rural living area.
"Hellooo?" she called as she looked around. "Anybody home?" She walked over towards Goten's house, hoping to see somebody inside. It shouldn't be this quiet, especially with a hyperactive 9-year old boy living here.
Suddenly she heard a creak, like a door opening slowly. She twisted around and came head on with a small foot kicking her square in the face.
The front door opened wider and three women's heads slowly poked out. They then gasped at what they saw and rushed out to Bra's side.
"Bra! Hey Bra, are you all right?" Chichi asked.
Valese turned to the boy, upset. "Kumo, shame on you! How dare you hurt Miss Bra like that?"
Kumo scratched the back of his head innocently. "Sorry. I thought she was a monster."
Bra finally sat up and rubbed her head. "Ow...." She suddenly gasped, "Oh no! Is my face all squished in??"
Videl blinked. "Err, no, it looks just fine..."
"Sorry about that," said Valese, "Kumo was just trying to keep guard of us, after Goten and Gohan took off after feeling some sort of dangerous power level..."
"Bra, what's going on, where are they?" asked Videl, "And what are you doing here?"
Bra went through what was going on once more, who Baby Jr. was and what he had done with the others. Chichi promptly fainted at this, while Valese and Videl had gone teary at what happened to their husbands and daughter/niece.
"Don't worry, you guys," said Bra as she took each their hands assuringly, "There's still a chance that there may be still alive."
"What about Mizu??" cried Videl, "Is she okay?? What happened to her??"
"She's fine," Bra responded, "She's with Dende and Mr. Popo at Kami's Palace. And speaking of which, that's why I'm here! I need help looking for the Dragonballs!"
"Dragonballs..?" Videl asked. "But... didn't they disappear?"
Bra shook her head. "No, these are a new set! Dende made them, and they’re supposed to be better than the last ones."
Valese clapped her hands together. "Really?? That's wonderful!"
"Yeah, but I need Kumo’s help," said Bra, "Baby Jr. can sense ki, and it isn't safe to fly around getting them while he feels us. He still may be in West City. I'm going to fly around, get his attention, and lead him away while Kumo sneaks in and gets Giru. We're going to need him to find the Dragonballs for us after all."
Valese face faulted. "Are... you sure this is a good idea? I mean, Kumo's just a boy!"
"There's no one else to do the job," Bra responded, "All the stronger ones got taken by Baby Jr." She turned to the child quarter-saiyan, "What do you say, Kumo? Will you help me?"
Kumo grinned widely. "YES! YES!" he chimed, but then frowned, "But, um.... It isn't a good idea."
"Kumo, come on!" Bra pleaded, "I would have thought the idea of saving the world would excite you."
"It does!" said Kumo, "But... we shouldn't fly around if that Baby thingy is gonna find us. It's too dangerous."
"Kumo, for Kami’s sake, the world is in danger!!" Bra cried, "We have to save Daddy, Uncle Gohan, Uncle Trunks, Panny and Akira, and even Uncle Vegeta!! Not only that, we have to protect everyone else in the world!!"
Kumo scowled, annoyed. "I know, I know!" he complained, "But we shouldn't fly around so he can find us. We should keep our kis down. Let's take Kinto'un instead!"
Bra blinked. "Kinto'un...?"
Kumo beamed, "Yeah! My grampa's old flying cloud!"
Videl clapped her hands together, "Kumo, you're such a little genius!"
Kumo grinned widely, and then sucked in a great deal of breath. "KIIIIIIINTOOOOOO'UUUNNN!!!!!"
Far off above, the group could make a tiny dot in the sky. As it came closer and closer, it became a more distinguishable figure; a giant, flying, golden cloud. It screeched to a halt in front of the group. "Whoa," said Bra, "So THIS is the famous 'Kinto'un'..."
"Yup!" Kumo leaped on top, "We can ride this to West City and keep our power levels low so Baby Jr. doesn't have to find us! But you can only ride it if you're hearts clean and pure."
"Then I'm on! My heart's cleaner than an indoor toilet!" Bra grabbed hold and climbed up.
Valese stepped up to the child, "Kumo, you be careful out there, you hear me? The moment something goes wrong, come straight home!"
Kumo pouted. "Aww... Mom, do I have to?"
"Yes!"
"It'll be okay, Valese," said Bra, "I'll keep him out of trouble. I promise."
Valese smiled. "Thank you."
"Let's go! To West City, Kinto'un!" Kumo cheered as the cloud took off at top speed and disappeared over the horizon.
The two women watched them go, just as Chichi began waking up. "Heyy... what's goin' on?"
They turned around. "Oh, Chichi, are you okay?" asked Videl.
Chichi rubbed her head, and looked around. "Eh...? Hey, where did Kumo go??"
"Oh, he left with Bra to go back to West City and get the Dragonballs so they can fight Baby Jr. themselves," Valese responded nonchalantly.
Chichi stared at her for a moment, and then promptly fainted once more.

Animals scampered left to right as Baby Jr. trashed every part of the forest that was in his way. He knew the light headed in this direction. Just how far did it go? He wanted to know badly what it was. If he was going to conquer this planet, he would need to know if this light would stop him in any way or not.
As he tore a brush out of its root, he came face to face with a buck deer. He stared back at him with wide innocent eyes. It didn't seem all that afraid of him. But what good were mindless animals to his future reign?
He tossed the brush behind his shoulder, which appeared to have startled the buck. As it turned and galloped off, Baby Jr. launched forward and sank his teeth into the deer's neck, absorbing it. There was barely a glow to him as the deer became one with him. Not even as much of a power up. These pathetic animals do nothing for him.
Plus it didn't even taste good.
He groaned and continued tearing apart the forest in order to find whatever he was looking for was.

"We're here! We're here!" Kumo called over the rushing wind as he and Bra soared over West City on Kinto'un. As she peered down below, Bra noticed empty streets and abandoned cars. The city was way too quiet, even with a mad monster on the loose. She frowned, knowing Baby Jr. must have taken more people. Just how much stronger did he need to be anyway?
The Kinto'un cloud came screeching to a halt in front of the Capsule Corp. mansion, which too was eerily quiet. Bra hopped off the cloud. "I sure hope Mom and Icalla are okay..." she murmured.
"Don't worry," said Kumo, jumping off the cloud himself, "Even if they were taken, we're gonna wish 'em back anyway, right?"
Bra smiled. "Yeah, I guess you're right..."
The two raced inside the building, hoping to find somebody, but every room they passed or entered was empty. Bra prayed that the housemaids and workers had gone into hiding, or ran off, anything but absorbed by Baby Jr.
"GIIIIIRUUUU!" Kumo shouted, "Heeere robotrobotrobotroooboooot!!!"
"I certainly hope HE didn't run off," sighed Bra, "The one we need the most... He never seems to be around when you need him."
"WAIT!" Kumo stopped dead in his tracks and held up his hand, "Y'hear that??"
Bra halted, and held her hand to her ear for a better listen.
"........... -GIRU- .......... -GIRU- .........."
Bra and Kumo made their way towards the hallway closet, where they continued to hear the strange noise.
"........... -GIRU- .......... -GIRU- .........."
Kumo grabbed the handle and swung the door open. Inside, a little circular robot immediately shielded itself with its arms and legs, whimpering loudly. "Danger! Giru discovered! Giru’s home infiltrated! -GIRU-"
"Giru, it's us!" the little boy chimed. The robot removed its arms and legs, glanced up, and then wrapped itself around Kumo's face.
"KUMO! -GIRU-GIRU- Kumo save Giru!! Giru happy to see Kumo! -GIRU-"
Kumo laughed as he hugged Giru back.
"Well, glad you're okay," said Bra, "Giru, we need you to find the Dragonballs."
Giru detached himself from Kumo and floated back slightly to face the female demi-saiyan. "Error in request," he responded, "Dragonballs no more. Vanished! Non-traceable. -GIRU-"
Bra smirked. "Turn your radar on and see for yourself."
A device zoomed down on Giru's back, and a hatch opened to reveal his built-in Dragonball radar, which he obtained after eating the original one. Immediately it began blipping and signals appeared on it. The robot hyperactively jumped up and down. "DRAGONBALL DETECTED! DRAGONBALL DETECTED! Dragonball exists! Dragonballs returned!!! -GIRU-"
"Told ya!" Bra winked and hitched her thumb backwards, "Now c'mon! Let's round them up!"
"Roger Ten-Four!" Giru saluted, and zoomed outside. The two followed him out onto Kinto'un, and off into the sky.

"RAIIIGH!!!!!!!" Baby Jr. screamed as he tossed a large sycamore thousands of feet away. It’s been well over an hour and he couldn’t find the object. Was it even worth it? Were the people inside him with such high hopes after seeing this light in the sky trying to fool him? He was certainly getting sick of searching for what possibly could be nothing.
He groaned and slumped down on his butt. This was stupid. He could have taken over the world by now and already begin his supreme reign. A squirrel scampered up to the Tuffle, sniffing at the giant blue-gray creature. Junior simply scoffed and kicked the squirrel away, sending it high into the sky, and then falling down into a tree, landing in a bird’s nest. The squirrel sat up and rubbed its head. It then glanced down and sniffed at the bird eggs, then sniffed at a big orange ball next to it, trying to figure out if it was some type of nut it could eat. He tried nibbling it, but couldn’t penetrate the surface. It scratched its head, confused, and then attempted to pick it up, only to fall over.
“Stupid animal....” Baby Jr, muttered, as he eyed the squirrel falling over and dropping the orange-looking nut to the ground. When it hit, it bounced and rolled over to Junior’s feet. The glared down at it. This was no nut… It was a big, glass artifact with two red stars in the center. He picked it up for a better look.
This ball felt familiar. The people inside him apparently were recognizing what it was.
And it hit him. This was the light! He had found the thing that the others were hoping would foil him.
Things were going good for the would-be king. He didn’t believe any other enemy got as far as he did. The enemy had nothing now.

Almost two hours later, Bra and Kumo, with the help of Giru, were able to locate six of the Dragonballs in various places on the Earth. If it wasn't for the fact they had to stay on Kinto'un with their kis suppressed, they wished they could have flown around the globe and do it faster. But that would have made searching for the Dragonballs redundant, since Baby Jr. would most likely find them.
"All riiight!" Kumo cheered, as he stared down at the one-star ball he held in his hands, which was recovered from a deserted canyon, "This is so cool! Now all we need is one more!"
"I still can't believe you managed to grab that T-Rex in a headlock!" said Bra, "You're amazing!"
"So are you!" said Kumo, "You managed to Heimlich that pterodactyl that swallowed the Dragonball!"
"What can I say? First Aid pays off!"
Giru began hopping up and down. "Dragonball located! Dragonball located!"
"Already??" cried Bra, "Way to go, Giru!"
"Forest below! Dragonball located! Dragonball in forest! -GIRU-"
"Then let's go!" Kumo directed Kinto'un away from the ocean they were flying over and dive into the forest nearby.
The trees and bushes seemed to go by in a blur as Kinto'un zipped through the forest at top speeds. Bra motioned that they should get off and look around before they might go right by the ball. The three stood and hopped off the flying cloud and it flew away into the sky above.
Now that the view was much clearer, the small group saw that the entire forest looked completely totaled. Trees were fallen over and pulled out of its roots. Bushes and brushes looked completely burnt and singed. "What happened, Miss Bra...?"
"I don't know," murmured Bra, "But I'm willing to bet Baby Jr. might have been here..."
"DANGER! DANGER!" Giru hopped up and down in fright, "Danger ahead! Giru sensing trouble! -GIRU--GIRU"
"What's wrong, Giru?" asked Kumo, "Is it a bear? Don't worry, I'll wrestle it!" The boy jumped ahead grinning ear to ear, but froze cold turkey and gasped at the figure in front of him.
"Is this what you're looking for?" Baby Jr. sneered evilly as he held out the last Dragonball.

There, four pages. ^^; Hope you like.

The line “My heart’s cleaner than an indoor toilet” from Bra originally came from Chichi in Dragonball Volume 1, when she and Goku first met. I was gonna write Chichi saying, “Now where have I heard that before?” But then I remembered she fainted and therefore could not talk. XD

“Kinto’un” is the original Japanese name for Flying Nimbus, Goku’s flying cloud. I prefer calling it “Kinto’un”. Call me a purist. : P
