Vegeta calmly watched as the young woman stepped into the arena after him. He clenched his fist causing his muscular arm to bulge in a try to intimidate her. But the young woman's face never wavered, she did not even flinch. She merely kept her beautiful dark blue eyes focused on him. The throngs of people cheered ruthlessly for Vegeta. All wanted to see the new fighter be taught a lesson. The Saiya ignored their cheers as he concentrated on his opponent. What is she doing... why doesn't she try to come at me? the seasoned fighter wondered.
Losing his patience, Vegeta flew at Trinity balling his fists together in hopes of catching the younger fighter in her stomach but he suddenly found himself frozen in mid-air. He stared that the young woman in silent surprise. In the last second before he hit her, Trinity had raised both her hands and had caught his fists. Her arms trembled ever so slightly with the strength it took for her to stop him. Vegeta growled as he tried to leap back from her but he was unable to pull out of her grip which surprised him. Trinity suddenly raised her foot and kicked the Saiyan Prince in his stomach sending him backwards. The young female fighter then pushed off with her feet sending herself after him. Vegeta managed to turn himself around and catch her arms and legs as she dealt him blow after blow. All that could be seen of the two fighters were blurs of movement.
Trunks and Gohan stood on the sidelines amazed at the skill of the younger fighter. "I wonder where she learned to move like that?" breathed Gohan as he watched her. "Hm... I don't know. She fights as well as my father..." Trunks answered. He added in whisper, "If not better than him." Standing slightly to the side stood Piccolo calmly watching the match. The Namek's eyes narrowed. That fighting... I have seen that once before. But as to where I cannot remember. I don't think that Vegeta realizes who he is up against... As that thought rang through Piccolo's mind, Vegeta had landed a hard round house kick to Trinity's head knocking the girl to the ground. The crowd was on their feet anticipating Vegeta's win over the newcomer when she started to laugh. "I have to hand it to you, Saiyan. That kick took me by surprise..." she said.
"Glad you found it amusing," the Saiyan grumbled. "Oh yes... I do..." she smirked at his irritation. "Especially since you obvioulsly have no idea WHO IT IS YOUR ARE DEALING WITH!!" So saying, Trinity raised her hand and pointed it at Vegeta palm forward. The Saiyan frowned slightly as he tries to figure out what she is doing. When her hand began to glow a purple color Vegeta jumped back. "I believe you asked me if I could take out a real fighter this way, correct? And in answer to that...." An energy ball started to form in her hand.
Vegeta growled as tried to maneuver away from Trinity but the young woman counted on the move and sent the energy ball to the skies above the arena. The crowd hushed at the sight of the purple energy sphere disappearing from their sights. What is she doing? Vegeta thought as he paused in his movements to watch the young woman. Everyone's eyes either remained fixed on the sky or on the two fighters. "VEGETA!!" Piccolo shouted over the sudden gasps of the audience. Vegeta looked up towards the sky and watched as several purple energy balls fell down to the arena below. The Saiyan frowned as he tried to dodge the balls only to discover that they followed him everywhere that he went.
Trinity burst into laughter as the Saiyan Prince tried to dodge her energy balls. "You won't be able to out run them, Saiyan. These are one of my favorite weapons.... they seek out the enemy who's scent is on my body. And right now... its yours!" Vegeta growled as he tried in vain to loose the energy balls. He then smirked to himself getting an idea. The Saiyan put on extra speed, flying this way and that through out the arena when at the last moment he changed his direction again. The young woman gasped as she suddenly realized what he was doing but it was too late. She gasped as one of her energy balls engulfed her sending electrical currents thorugh out her body. Her screams filled the silent arena as the audience looked on. After thirteen minutes, Trinity's body fell from the sky. When her body impacted the ground it left a crater.
A cheer erupted from the crowds as they watched Trinity's body hit the ground. The announcer roared as he jumped up and down. "I cant believe it... that was the greatest tactic as well as the oldest.... it looks like Trinity is down for the count... 10.... 9...." he began but a stunned gasp erupted from his throat as he watched Trinity climb out of the crater. "That was a damned... dirty.... trick, Saiyan..." the young woman growled. Everyone was surprised even the great Prince. He did not expect her to get up after an attack like that but there she was pulling herself onto her feet.
Trinity ran her fingers through her hair glaring at the Saiyan. "If that’s how you want to play it.... then I'll end this right here..." As she spoke her hair suddenly began to shimmer. As the shimmer glittered through her hair it turned silver. Her once dark blue eyes shined violet as she looked upon Vegeta.
Piccolo let out a shout of surprise accompanied by Trunks and Gohan. "She transformed!!" Gohan shouted in shock. Piccolo frowned deep in thought. So she is as powerful as I had feared. And her levels have sky-rocketed. Vegeta wont stand a chance against her now. Even as a Super Saiyan.
The young woman moved her hands in almost dance-like movements. "HAAAAAAAAAAA!" she cried out. An energy began to form around her as her power levels increased. Suddenly she stopped and brought her hands together out before her. "HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" she screamed as a wave of energy exploded out of her body through her hands. Vegeta's eyes widened as he met the attack full on surrounding him in numbing pain. When the wave subsided, Vegeta was left lying face up on the ground. His clothes were ripped to shreds and his body was covered in energy burns. Trinity floated down from her position. Her knees bent and her shoulders sagged as she waited for Vegeta to rise but the Saiyan remained on the ground. "And the winner... without a doubt... is TRINITY THE NEW WORLD CHAMPION!" Just as she heard those words, Trinity dropped to the ground.
Trunks, Gohan and Piccolo rushed forward. Trunks and Gohan knelt beside Vegeta while Piccolo approached the young woman. "How is she, Piccolo?" Gohan asked. The Namek reached out and felt Trinity's neck. "She appears to only be unconscious." Bulma walked over towards them. "She was amazing!" she exclaimed. "Does anyone know anything about her?" Several heads shook in response. Trinity slowly opened her eyes. "Ugh..." she moaned as she tried to sit up. "Hey... do you have anyone we need to contact?" Bulma asked her. "No..." the young woman managed to croak out. "Do you have a place where..."
Before she could finish her sentence the young woman lost consciousness again. "We should take her home with us." "WHAT!?" Trunks and Gohan shouted. "Well... I don't think she has anywhere else to go. And I like her..." Piccolo sighed as he slipped his arms underneath Trinity's limp body and held her close. "Shall we?" Bulma smiled. Trunks sighed heavily as he leaned close to Gohan. "Dad isn't going to like this when he wakes up." The six companions left the battle arena towards their homes or rather the place they called home for now. Piccolo looked down at the young woman he held in his arms. There was something very familiar about the energy she was giving off. He ran his fingers through her hair in thought.

Trinity groaned as she regained consciousness. Her eyes fluttered open to find that she was staring up at a white ceiling. Slowly the young woman sat up and looked around to find herself in a simple room. Trinity bit down on her bottom lip. Where am I? I can't still be at the Tournament can I? She threw her legs over the side of her bed and stood up. The young woman walked over towards an open window on the east wall when she heard the door to the room opening. "Oh, you're awake!" came a loud exclamation.
Trinity turned her head to see a woman standing in the doorway of the room. The woman had blue hair that was cut short and large blue eyes. She was way too happy for Trinity's taste but she returned her smile all the same. "We were afraid that you wouldn't wake up... or rather I was afraid Piccolo said that you would awaken when your energy levels had returned to a normal level. I'm Bulma." The younger woman sighed. Damn happy people... she thought bitterly. Trinity had never been one for happiness. After a lifetime of growing up bitter, sad and alone she had never allowed herself the chance to experience true happiness. Even in the interest of sex, she did it solely on the purpose of relieving herself of her wanton need never to feel love or to give love in return. "So what’s your name or don't you have one?" the one who called herself Bulma asked.
"My name is... Trinity," the young woman said simply. "Trinity? That's a very beautiful name... you know you are a lot stronger than you appear to...." "Look I appreciate the fact that you let me into your home and everything but I want to know where the hell I am..." Trinity said, cutting into Bulma's ranting. "Oh... you are on Earth." "Yes but where exactly?" "Oh.... erm... you are in North City." Trinity folded her arms over her chest. "North City, huh? Damn... that’s miles from where I wanted to be...." "Oh... I didn't realize you had a place to stay. I thought.." Bulma began but Trinity, who by now was loosing all patience with the woman, again interrupted her. "You just thought that since I came to the Tournament alone that I obviously didn't have any friends, family or a home to stay in." Bulma was shocked into silence. This woman is bitter! "HOW DARE YOU AFTER ALL THAT I DID FOR YOU..." Bulma began when she was interrupted a fourth time. "Stop yelling at her, woman," came a gruff voice.
The frown on Trinity's face disappeared as a man entered into the room. But it wasn't just any man. It was the Saiyan she had defeated to gain the title of World Champion. "You..." Trinity breathed. Bulma smiled at the Saiyan as he walked towards her. "Calm down..." he said to her as he stopped in front of her. "You... what do you want?" Trinity hissed. "Hn... you are in my house..." The young woman's mouth sagged open a little. "Your house!?" she exclaimed. "I don't think you two have been properly introduce you to my husband, Vegeta.” Greeeeeeeaaaaaaaattttt.... they're married.
