The two warriors fly around for a while looking for their intended victim. Uub swiftly dodges between mountaintops and around cliffs as Vegeta takes a more… direct approach, simply flying right through them. “Wait!” Uub calls out to his accomplice, “If she's looking for you, why don't you just stop and power up to full? She should come running then!” Wow… the kid's got a head on his shoulders, that's for sure. The Saiyan doesn't let his true feelings be known to the boy and instead scoffs outwardly at the idea. However, he still lands and begins powering up as the young battler suggested. Uub watches all around, looking for any sign of their assailant. After Vegeta reaches full power he holds it for a few minutes before beginning to power down. “I don't get it.” He declares, “She should have been here by now!” His young partner just hangs his head a bit and shrugs. “I guess we keep looking, then?” Before there could be a response, a hand reaches out from the rocky ground below the Prince of Saiyans, grabbing his foot and dragging him down to the ground. The force of his body as well as her pulling causes a huge crater to form in the earth where they submerged. “Vegeta!” Uub screams after his comrade before powering up himself and rocketing into the crater after them.

 

The underground here is a maze of tunnels apparently being suspended by very old and brittle rock that can give way at any time. The dark-skinned youth bolts around corners and down tunnels until he turns a corner and finds the body of his ally flying at him. With no other options left, the boy simply attempts to block the impact, however they both wind up being smashed into the tunnel wall. Thankfully, the infrastructure remains intact but for how long? Shit, Vegeta took a beating and this place won't be safe for long. I have to bring the fight back topside… Uub puts one arm out and fires a volley of ki blasts at the rock above the android's head. As soon as he sees daylight, the boy flies up with Vegeta still in toe to the surface. As he lays the wounded Saiyan down, the boy fishes through a small pouch and pulls out a Senzu Bean. Immediately as he puts it in Vegetas mouth and makes him eat it, the makeshift tunnel the two escaped through is ripped open by their beautiful adversary. Damn, she's fast. Uub stands up and lunges at her with his right foot extended. Expecting it to be blocked, he spins around to come down on her with his left. Unfortunately that is blocked too, and in desperation, he attempts a hammer blow with his free hands which, while not very effective, caught the siren off guard for a moment. This allows the youth to shove a knee into her abdomen before flying off to put some distance between them.

 

Within split seconds Super 18 is on top of her fleeing opponent and reaches her hand back to pummel him. Suddenly however her forward progress is halted and she looks down to see why. The answer is a bright golden man who has a firm grip on her ankles, and begins to spin her around at unimaginable speeds. Uub turned. “Vegeta?” Wow. He recovered pretty damn fast. Guess this is how Saiyans operate. Vegeta made sure to navigate his spinning to include all the large cliffs or mountain walls in the area before launching her towards Uub. “You ready, boy?!” No response, just the warrior powering up in a readied stance. As soon as her feet are released and she careens towards him, his aura begins to turn reddish as he shouts “Kaio-Ken times 3!” With that he dashes forward at literally a blinding speed to meet her airborne body with a downward punch that nearly causes him to completely flip forward from the force. Her cold, metallic body ricochets off the rocky earth and bounces up and Uub is there to meet her. Already on the ground on the opposite side of her, he drives a foot directly into the square of her back sending her soaring skyward. Vegeta is there to meet her, bulked up into his Ultra Super Saiyan form. He spin-kicks her in the head as she comes within range and she begins her rapid descent towards the ground again. A split second later, Uub tacks on one last hit before his Kaio-Ken wears off, causing her meeting with the ground to come much sooner then before. And meet they do; as she connects with the ground anything around for miles is almost immediately dropped as if a 10.0 on the Richter scale has just hit. A huge cloud of dust and debris rises from the impact point and after a few moments water gushes forward from it; for she has been buried so deep it dug a tunnel straight to the underground water level. The two warriors, content that their jobs are done, each begin to reflect on the battle that just ensued in their minds, rather impressed at their teamwork. Their reflective moment is short-lived as two red beams fly from the freshly made channel and barely miss the two.

 

“No way…” was the almost simultaneous response from both of them. Before either could react, she appeared behind the Saiyan and knife-handed him in the back of the neck causing him to almost lose consciousness and plummet to the ground. The boy tries to help his compatriot but as he flies downward, he is drilled in the abdomen by a drop kick delivered by the gorgeous robot. Both heroes connect with rocky earth at almost the same time and as the dust settles, Vegeta could see the femme fatale driving right for him. “We've gotta regroup and rethink our strategy, Vegeta!” Uub shouts from the other crater across the landscape and right before Super 18's fist collides with Vegeta's flesh he Instant Transmissions over to Uub. Calculating as much, 18 merely flies toward the other crater at top speed. “Here's a present from Krillin!” Uub reaches his hand up forming a thin disc made of ki in it. He then lets it fly at her, yelling “Destructo Disc!” then hands Vegeta a Senzu Bean while eating one himself. “These are my last two Vegeta. We only have one chance left.” 18 is stopped in her tracks at the mention of Krillin and the sight of the Destructo Disc. The ki blast strikes her, but most of her structure merely absorbs it without effort, leaving only a small portion by her left side damaged. “We have to do what you and Goku did before, Vegeta.” Uub looked directly into the Saiyan's eyes to see if Vegeta knew what he was talking about. “You know… what was it called? Combination? No…” Vegeta's eyes widened upon his realization and finished the boy's thought, “Oh no… not… Fusion.” “Yes! That's it! Fusion!” The boy livened up immediately. “Together, you and I can defeat her!” Vegeta shook his head and turned away. “I'm horrible at the dance, I couldn't even teach you and even if I could, why would I want to fuse with you?” “Vegeta, this is no time to bicker like this… we HAVE to do this, it's our only chance!” There's a pause for a moment before the ground behind them is destroyed by the force of Super 18 resuming her assault on the two. Vegeta seems lost in thought, searching for something. Moments before she connects with her beating however, the Saiyan grabs the boy's arm and they disappear.
