~i am srry it took me so long to get this chapter out but i am just not feeling like anyone likes this story i am getting so little reviews for it!!! i am feeling like the story isn't very good and unless i start getting more reviews i don't know if i am going to continue it~
Chapter 11: Finding the First Piece
Bulma and Vegeta flew into the cave. The entranceway shut behind them. Bulma muttered. "Don't worry about it. We should be able to blow it open easily. Now lets go." Vegeta nodded and they started into the cave. They had decided to walk not knowing what they might run into in the air. Both of them had there ki raised so they could see where they were going. There were no winding paths or anything just one straight very high cielinged, and wide width tunnel.
They continued to walk for what seemed like hours. This whole tunnel didn't seem to have an end to it but they knew it was going down because of the slope. Bulma growled in frustration. "Thats it!!" She took to the air and blasted full speed into the cave. Vegeta was taken by surprise and took off after her as fast as he could. Still after what seemed like forever they came to a huge dame shaped area. There was no where else to go so the piece had to be here. The cieling was raised higher in this area and the room was much wider than the cave. In the middle of it was a large rock that was shaped into a giant table of some sort. On it was an orb the size of one of Earth's dragon balls.
Bulma walked up to it and was about to pick it up but Vegeta grabbed her hand. "Don't touch it. I have heard of that. It is the Lightning Orb. It has to be handled a certain way or it can seriously hurt you." He reached out and grabbed the orb. It immediately start to shake furiously and it looked as if a storm was brewing inside the tiny orb. Small clouds had appeardinside it and were going from white to gray and gray to black. Rain started to fall from them but somehow the orb was not filling with water and suddenly lightning began to flash inside the orb. The orb was shaking furiously. There was some strange writing on the wall Bulma noticed. But she couldn't read it.
"Hey Vegeta put that thing down and come over here." Vegeta put the orb down just as it was about to shock him and walked over to the far wall where she stood. "What is it?" "Look at this." She pointed to the strange writing on the wall. "I can't read it can you?" "Of course I can Woman. That is Sayaigo. The Sayain language. You must not have your memory of it back yet." Bulma looked a little confused. "Well then read it!" Vegeta winced. "Alright Woman just stop screaming!" Bulma hmmphed and waited for him to read it.
Vegeta cleared his throat and began to read it outloud. "The orb contains what you seak. Figure out it's unsolvable mystery and you will receive you treasure for which you seak. Thunder sparks and the storm that brews inside will tell you everything you must know." Bulma growled. "They can't make anything easy on us can they?! There always has to be some damn riddle or puzzle involved urgh!" Vegeta chuckled lightly. He loved it when she was angry like this.
"Calm down Woman. All we have to do is figure out how the little orb over there works. Then we get the piece. Now it says that the Thunder sparks, which is the lightning, and the storm that brews inside will tell all we need to know so lets just watch the storm and see what happens." Vegeta walked over and picked the orb up again. The storm started to brew up again and the lightning started sparking about inside it striking the edges of the orb.
Bulma and Vegeta watched the damn orb for what seemed like hours. Bulm finally got angry. "Damnit I am tired of watching this damn thing play baby storm!!!" She picked it up and before Vegeta could stop her she threw it against the wall and it made a huge spark, flashed, and shattered into a million pieces leaving nothing but ashes. Vegeta growled. "Damnit Woman you and your temper!!!! Now look what you did!!!" Bulma growled back. "Well damnit I was tired of waiting for that damn thing to do something!!!" Then something white caught her attention. She looked over in the ashes. "Look!'
She walked over to the ashes and brushed them inside and inside was a small piece of old paper. She opened it. It was part of the missing page in the book. "Hah! This is the missing page! See my actions weren't bad after all! All we had to do was smash the damn thing and wala!! Now lets get back to the ship before Trunks wakes up." She took off into the air and shot out as fast as she could go. Vegeta did as well trying to keep up with her. She was moving faster than normal. She must be worried something would happen to the baby if they were gone to long. Once they were outside the cave Bulma went inside the ship to find her son still sleeping.
She sighed in relief and pulled her clothes off and crawled into bed. She was beat from the long day. "Tomorrow we can go to the next moon to find the next piece." Vegeta nodded. "I am going to collect some fruit while it is still fresh from the lightning strike. As long as it is left in an electrified area it should remain fresh for some time. Bulma nodded. "Don't be out there too long. You know I can't sleep when you aren't in here." Vegeta smirked and nodded.
Vegeta went out and gathered a good years worth of the fruit. this fruit was even better than sensu beans. Not only would it restore your health but it made you so full of energy that a person could most likely train for a month straight without stopping depending on how badly that person pummeled themself. He went inside and found Bulma getting Trunks back to sleep. She had crawled back into bed once Vegeta had put the fruit in an electro chamber she had prepared for him. Her slipped in the room unnoticed and stripped his clothes then crawled in the bed still unnoticed. He grabbed her and pulled her too him taking her by surprise.
Bulma gasped when she felt Vegeta pull her to him. She hadn't expected that. She hadn't even heard him come in. She scooted to him and sighed when he started planting kissing up her throat. He slid his tongue over her bite mark which sent a shiver up her spine. He turned her face and kissed her gently on the lips sliding his tongue into her mouth slowly. Bulma kissed him back passionately. When the kiss broke she turned in his arms so she was facing him and laid her head on his chest and snuggled to him. 'I love you Vegeta...' She said to him in his mind. 'I love you too little one...' He said back. He didn't say it very often to her. He told her more often in her mind where there wasn't a chance of anyone else hearing him but still not very often. She was lucky if she got and 'I love you' once a month but she felt content with that.
She sighed and closed her eyes. She fell asleep soon after. Vegeta kissed her forhead softly. He did love this Woman. He would never leave her or his family he knew it. For the first time in his life his pride was thrown aside. He was never as happy as he was when he was with her and his family. 'My family...' Suprisingly he liked the sound of that. Long ago he thought that his line would die with him and he had wanted it that way. But not now. Now his line was to continue. His race was still alive. And if the book was right...there was still more of his race out there. That meant that his title still meant something. He had thought long ago that his title had lost it's meaning. But now with his new mate and his heir...and the other Sayains still out there somewhere his title was still active...and that meant her's was too. He smirked. He kissed his princess on the forhead once again before he closed his eyes and let the steady beating of her heart will him to sleep.
~I know it was a bit short but trust me this was the best place to stop. Well I hope u like it and I am hoping i start getting more reviews on this story. I feel like it should be getting more reviews that it is...i feel like no one likes my story anymore due to the lack of reviews!!! :'( ~
