Chapter 20
Love Is All That Matters

His mate is dead. Does the price of losing Bra pain Broly too much? Does their love survive in the realm of the living or in the plain of heaven?

Unfortunatly this is the last chapter not counting the epilouge next but this story has reached it's point. Though I will continue writing a new story for all of you that you will all enjoy and (hopefully) be better than this will come out soon.

There she lay in a pool of blood around her. The crimsion blood pooled around her body flowing easily from the deep slash across her neck as Broly nearly collapsed in pain but Broly only slumped to his knee's in complete shock as pain began sweeping through him. Everything he sought to avoid had come to pass as his entire exsistence lay dead before his feet. With a trepidation of fearing this being some sort of nightmare Broly's hand reached out and gently brushed the cold flesh of his mate. Her once beautiful blue hair doused in her blood that became a dark crimson. Broly couldn't stop the tears that welled up in his eyes. She was dead.......

How could of this had happend? Broly was too mighty to be defeated and even hurt Vicorra as the true pure Legendary, but yet Vicorra was stronger and now becasuse he was weak and foolish, for being overconfident in his abilites and not thinking things out. And for that weakness his beloved was now dead. Everything hurt inside so bad as Broly only stared despite the overwhelming pain and saddness engulfing his entire being.

Everyone who had watched just laughed at the mighty warrior who fell in pain to his knee's and shock seeing his wife die before his eyes thanks to their princess. They didn't know the horror they had just caused Broly and the horror they were going to cause to themselves because of it. Everyone was soon sent flying backwards by a violent exersertion of energy errupting from Broly. Streams of white energy lashed out violently as Broly released all of the pain he felt for those of he had loved that now lay dead.

" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Broly's massive scream of sorrow and pain shook the entire glaxay as his power skyrockted to the extreme not carring wether or not the planet would survive. Broly's hands gently went down to touch her face as his body shook with energy. She didn't stirr as Broly's tears began to fall like rain. It couldn't be real! No it just couldn't be! Every single fiber of his body was shaking as his energy was completely rampant throughout him unchecked and uncontrolled.

But it was and no matter what Broly tried to deny it he couldn't stop the feeling of her cold body underneath his hands. The beauty and life of his mate was now torn from him thanks to her..... Vicorra had wanted revenge for what Broly had done and she had taken out on the his family and friends that had absolutely nothing to do with what Broly had done. Even so the ones she hurt and killed were the ones who tried to prevent what Broly had done to them. Broly's hands shook as he gently grasped her body in his hands and pulled her into his arms. He craddled her body as he rocked back and forth shaking between the line of insanity and sanity. He whispered and sobbed into her ears gently trying to hope she had some life left, too see her alive would allow him to live.

" Bra..... Please this can't be..... Don't leave me...." Broly sobbed as he cried his head thrown backwards as a gut wrenching sob escapped his throat. His eyes were clamped shut as Broly let his body overcome the power he had holding back. Bra still lay in his arms the slicing wound still across her neck as Broly only sobbed. His life was forefit. He didn't care anymore about himself. The last few shreds of Bra's power slowly trailed up from her body in blue specks of energy, the gently touched Broly's face and melded apart of him as Broly sobbed taking the last few pieces of Bra's energy to let her be apart of him.

Broly's sobs died down as he let his mate's body lay down on the stone floor. His fingers gently closed the pale blue eyes as his white aura receded and dropped away and his long white hair soon raised into the air as his body shook like crazy. " The Legendary will have his revenge..... No one has ever dared to touch what I hold dear and get away without paying the ultimate price....." Broly's voice dropped into a ghastly silence as the hate and malice dripped off his tounge. His white eyes looking up at Vicorra who still held the blade that killed his love." My revenge will come to pass and............. IT WILL NOT END UNTIL YOU LAY DEAD AT MY FEET!" Broly's voice changed as he hissed in a sadistic voice and he stood up his body showing the pain filled Legendary side of him. His fingers crackled and shook with power greater than that of anything ever before. His entire body shook violently as he screamed upwards his hair rasing higher into spikes as it went from white to blue. His eyes glowed white as white energy shot from his body glowing in a rage as his eyes screamed revenge.

He exploded his aura blazing white into blue taking the few drops of Bra's energy melding them together. Taking her dying power and melding with it's own knowing that this would be the last he would see of it. Nohting could stop him as he rocketed twoards Vicorra before she could even react he sent her through the palace wall and chuckled evilly as his tounge came out to lick his lips. " My words included all of you as well!" Broly laughed as his eyes roamed over the people around before throwing his arms out to the sides as everyone tried to flee but failed as Broly became the tornado of death. Blue energy blasts rained from Broly, killing all of those who were close by but leaving the body of his mate completely undisturbed. He fired blasts into her family, her parents, the portraits of her entire life, he encompassed it in his flames of pain and dispair. He exploded out of the palace leavaling it to rubble but his mate remained undisturbed as he stared into Vicorra's horrified eyes.

Broly's eyes looked like lightning as the glow seemd to spark out from him as he growled and shook with power in the air standing only feet away from the object of his pain. The soft drops of blood that fell from his mate fell into the cracks and Broly's sayjin hearing could easily pick it out like a dripping faucet. Every drop tore away at his soul as he himself felt it.

But the pain changed to rage as he stared up at the cause of all his pain." Does it feel good to have everything take from you? I know the feeling when you slit my mates throat....." Broly said as his white eyes flared up glaring into her eyes which were finally afraid. " Everything in my life has been a living hell girl, something you know nothing of I suspect.... Just like when you killed my daughter.... Did you know her at all? A young loving girl who nothing about my horrible past or life that I lived and only wanted to be child and you killed her? Tell me does that bring you justice or does it bring me justice when you snapped my son's neck who only wanted to protect his family?....... Then again your family was just incinerated.... Your hopes of bringing my corpse to them died with them you know....but I will be more than welcome to give you A DEMONSTRATION ON THE PAIN FIRST HAND!" Broly screamed errupting energy blasts from his body at such a speed she could not protect her cities and her planet as they all burst into blue flames of energy. Broly's head laughed wickedly as he stared at Vicorra, his smirk dropping into a scowl as he stared at her. " Once you die I will see you in hell soon enough to make sure you suffer!" Broly's screamed flying twoards her and began a violent rush of battle.

She was stronger yes but he had no reason to worry about death or dying. She would go with him wether or not she tried. Broly's fist slammed into her gut unchecked by the unbridadle fury that was inside of him. She was knocked up with Broly still driving his fist until she kicked him in the face but Broly only crushed his body as a weapon into her own.

She hit the ground with a titanic thud as the ground ripped open and exploded around her with the force behind the blow. Broly dived down still not with a care for himself or anything else as she readied some energy blasts strong enough to kill him. " STAR DUST!" She screamed throwing the white balls of energy twoards Broly which only headed straight forward as the blasts collided with Broly.

She almost smirked seeing Broly get hit the blast but her voice was soon sputtered as Broly flew straight through the smoke bloodied and nearly on fire with the energy burning his skin. He was out of control! He hit her legs out dropping her to the ground which he immediatly began pounding his fists deep into her face and stomach with massive swings.

His arms reared back driving into her stomach making her cry out in pain as the ground collapsed underneath her and Broly continued to swing like a man crazed. Every blow filled with the rage and fury. The sound of her cybernetic body now evident as the machines inside began beeping and screaming out energy frantically too give her strength but Broly wasn't going to give her the chance. He backhanded her splitting her lip and sending fresh blood to the ground as he continued to pounce on her showing no remourse what so ever.

Meanwhile Old Kai and Kibitoshin stood watching the battle from the start to now and the look they sent each other was bad. " I was afraid this might happen Kibito." Old Kai said letting out a breath. " That pure form is now corrupt with the seeds to see her dead, but then again I should of expected that as Bra's last trails of energy merged with his creating that need to see her dead."

" Is there anything we can do ancestor?" Kibito asked as Broly continued on his crazed assault driving his knee painfully into Vicorra's stomach and slaming her down only to continue to drive his fist into her. " I mean surely there must be a way to calm that need inside of him down."

" There is Kibito but by then it will be too late." Old Kai sat back closing his eyes into deep thought. " His mind is regressing into the need to kill her and he will do anything to see that need to be carried out. Without Bra's energy or presence nearby he will continue to regress in his mind until it is irreversible then he will become his old self with the need to kill and kill until nothing remains. It's sad though he doesn't even feel his conciousness slipping away as he regresses but theres nothing we can do."

" Can't those on Earth use their dragonballs and revive her?" Kibito asked trying to figure out a solution to this mess, or be forced to fight a crazed Legendary.

" They could but Broly only has a few hours until his mind is fully regressed and I doubt the Earthlings could get them in that short of time let alone knowing that the damage done to Broly will be permenant and Bra may not even be able to quell his thirst until she is pinned underneath him and I guarantee with his strength she wouldn't survive." Old Kai knew the options were bleak but there were only so many chances and choices. " Contact the Earthlings and have them locate the dragonballs quickly because time is defenitly against us."

" Of course ancestor." Kibitio said before teleporting out of sight and to Earth leaving Old Kai alone. ' Time to find those magazines now that he's gone...'

Broly continued to rain down blows as he felt himself drawn to kill her and kill her again. Nothing inside felt right but now he only felt pain and saddness, along with a unquenchable fury. Vicorra finally broke away from Broly's onslaught standing just a few feet away as Broly only licked his lips. " What are you some kind of freak!? Why won't you just stay normal so that I can kill you!?" Vicorra screamed in frustration but Broly only laughed demonically.

" Because then how would I kill you?" Broly said laughing but Vicorra drove her fist into Broly's face barely making him flinch. The glow of the white eyes flared as Vicorra soon found herself knocked backwards by a wave of Broly's energy sending her straight down into the ground again. Even in her max form of Bulky muslces and android strength could do little to deter Broly's strength which continued to rise.

" There are only so many things I tolerate in my life...." Broly said as he walked twoards her slowly. " I can tolerate the mood swings of my family, the once smelly and full diapers of my daughter, not having sex in 12 hours or more, but when you think about it..... it's not so bad is it? Now they are in heaven and I cannot join them until I send you to the firey pits of hell!" Broly snarled his white teeth gleaming in the light as Broly roared his head back crying out like a crazed animal and began a charge twoards her. His feet stomping large foot prints straight into the ground with every thud as he did a unpredictided flip catching Vicorra off guard as the back of his leg crushed through her arms and ontop of her head with a massive blow.

Her eyes were dazed and confused as Broly chuckled grabbing her neck and hoisting her up into the air. Her pale eyes started into the energy filled ones of Broly as energy radiated from them as she stared at them. " Living without my love is something I knew only in hell without the actual feel of pain and torture accompained if it were the other way...." Broly growled clenching his hand tighter around her neck.

" She suffered because she choose to bed a evil monster like you!" Vicorra screamed dropping a vicious elbow onto Broly's arm and he dropped her from his grasp. She gave a swift kick to his stomach sending him backwards. " It was her own fault that she died because anyone who would dare bed any type of monster like you deserves no life!"

The insults hurled at his deceased mate cause Broly to snap as hist fist snapped up firing a massive ball of energy nailing Vicorra and sending her exploding backwards. " Don't ever dare to insult her! You know nothing and in a short while you won't ever have too!" Broly said throwing his head backwards laughing demonically.

While back on Earth the dragonballs had been gathered in record speed and Bra, Bulla, and Ralliek now were alive and back on Earth but that was the easy part. Kibito stood ready as he ran over to Bra quickly. " Come with me quickly! Broly is losing his mind and needs you with him!" Kibito didn't need to look for an answer as he already knew it from the look fo shock and sudden urgency that came over her face.

Kibito quickly teleported with Bra to where Broly was currently fighting at. Bra could feel the turmoil inside of Broly as his soul was crying out in pain and loss that was hard for even her to comprehend. It was all of the agony and suffering Broly could ever feel cramed inside of his body. It was only a matter of time until he lost it completely to his emotions.

" I'll take it from here Kibito just be ready incase something happens." Bra told him. Kibitio nodded and followed her but trailing a safe distance away as not to get Broly's attentions focused on him. With a few hours passed since Broly's slip into insanity there was no telling what the Legendary was capable of doing to him, his mate, or anyone for that matter. They just had to hope that luck be on their side.

Bra speed up quickly seeing the single giant blazing aura and the feel of another energy draining fast. Bra's eyes could slowly begin to see Broly's form out in the distance as he cried out in a savage roar. The body being beaten around was none other than that bitch that had killed her and her children but as long as Broly was getting his revenge on her she didn't mind it at all. But Broly's change in appearence was a little bizzare with the blue hair and lightning white eyes that flared violently as Broly struck Vicorra down to the ground and continuing to pummel her down into the ground without remourse.

Broly's twisted laugh reached her ears as Broly aimed his open palm down at Vicorra which pulsed with a green glowing orb. " See you and your family in hell!" Broly yelled releasing the ball of energy that exploded turning the woman into ash. Broly's blazing aura died out quickly as the need for revenge had passed. Broly slumped to his knee's as his eyes continued to radiate power. " It is finally done but things still remain as is...." Broly said sadly as his head lowered to the ground.

" Broly!" Cried Bra as she neared her mate. His head snapped up violently almost in shock but it did little as Broly's expression didn't change. The glow and pain still felt in his body was still there. Bra stopped a few feet short away from him almost ready to cry and dive into his arms but the pain she felt from him was keeping her back. " It's okay Broly it's me Bra... I'm back..." She whispered gently as Broly cocked his head at her.

The pain seemed to dissapear as his gaze softened and the saddness left as his eyes looked upon her in a new light. " Don't worry..." Broly said as he approached and gently pulling Bra into an embrace. Bra couldn't hold back her tears as she sobbed into his chest, crying out her grief and unhappiness over the last few days as he held her tightly. The large arms around her back tightend as Broly brought his head down close to her ear. " We'll be together shortly my love so don't worry too long... I promised to join you and I will keep that promise..."

Bra looked up in shock and confusion. " Broly what do you mean? I'm right here! Im not dead and our children along with everyone else has been reived!" Bra said as Broly wiped a few strands of hair from her face gently as he smiled although it was a sad smile. Broly's thoughts were confused and random as she could feel little from him. His mind was not right! He wasn't acting on rashonal thought anymore... The seeds to join his mate in death were so deeply sown that not even Bra could ever hope to tear those few thoughts from his mind. Having his family dead at the time only furthered the desire to join her. He had no offspring to look after, nothing to hold onto to give him comfort after trying to find a way to live through her death.

" Your words will make my passing much better my love but don't worry i'll join you shortly..." Broly said kissing her forehead and stepping back. His energy flared sending Bra a few feet backwards as Broly stood smiling with a look that made Bra worry. " Final Explosion....." Broly said as his energy made him soar upwards as white streaks of energy shot out from his body shaking the planet as his blue aura swirled around him violently. " My body may turn into stone my love but my soul will find you in the afterlife! Please wait only longer my love!" Broly yelled down to her as his eyes fired out energy wildly.

" NO! BROLY!" Bra screamed going super-sayjin 2 and blasting up into the whirlwind of energy Broly was creating to take himself and the entire planet with him into the afterlife. She wasn't going to lose him! She screamed pushing past the streaks of energy as Broly's body formed a barrier around himself as the planet began to shake with ferociously. She ripped through the winds and was able to break the barrier surrounding him but something else decided to leave. " No! Kibito I have to try and save him!" Bra cried as she reached out to Broly.

" You can't it's to dangerous! Broly can't be reached by you now!" Kibito said trying to hold Bra back before she tried jumping into the fire. But his grip was cut short as Bra knocked him in the gut making him let go as she gave a surge of energy as her hands found their way around Broly's neck and her lips met his own. Her tougne immediatly making sure she knew he could taste her. Seeing her was one thing but feeling her and having her with him could change his mind.

Broly's mind was hit as he rememberd the ever framiliar taste and feel of Bra's tounge probing his mouth. Her hands wrapped around his neck. Broly's mouth screamed out knocking Bra away from him. " HOLD ON MY LOVE!!!! I'M COMING! URRAGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Broly screamed as a huge wall of energy exploded and as Bra was about to be engulfed a hand on her shoulder quickly teleported her away before being swept up in the blast of energy. The planet couldn't take the strain or the massive energy exploding across the surface leaving the planet only one option,to explode. The energy continued to pulse even in the depths of space still flaring but then fired a single streak of white energy as it shot far from its source and into the depths of space.

" Broly no!" Bra screamed as she rematerialized back on Earth. She was in front of Capsule Corp. as the signs of dusk began to settle overhead. Kibito couldn't say anything as he knew not what to say in such a situation and only leaving her alone in front of her home. Bra's mind seemed to stop as her body began to take in what had just happened. She had been killed, then revied to save her husband who blew himself up a few minutes ago to be with her in the afterlife. His crazed mind was far too corrupt for her too even hope to reach her. But it could not stop the sorrow that built up inside her as her eyes filled with tears, he cried for her as he prepared to join her in death, all of it was for her....

The sobs that came out were heart renching as she pounded on the ground crying as she didn't want this to happen. " Momma?" The quiet and sensitive voice of her little girl who had just begun to walk around came up to her almost feeling what she was currently. " Why you cry?" Bulla asked holding her tiny blanket to her chest as she still wore diapers. Bra's head looked up as tears continued to fall from her face.

" It's your poppa Bulla dear.... He's dead...." Bulla said as the waterworks continued down her face dripping down into the grass with small splashes. Her hands instantly grabbed her young daughter pulling her close for some comfort as the night sky began too take over leaving the rising sight of the moon in the distance. " Im sorry Bulla I couldn't help your father!" Bra cried as Bulla only hugged her back.

" What do you mean momma? Poppa is still here!" The little girl said squirming free from her mother's grip. Her small hand grabbing Bra's as she pulled her quickly with her small legs to the backside of the house. Bra was too shocked and stunned by Bulla's action too do much as they reached the nearby pool that was strangely calm.

Ralliek stood nearby almost in awe of the situation as he stared down in the water. " Ralliek? What's going on?" Bra said as she regained her voice from the shock of her daughter's actions. Ralliek only turned his head to his side as Bra saw something inside of his eye's that made them all in awe. " Ralliek?" Bra asked again but Ralliek only turned back to the pool.

" Poppa!" Bulla cried out to the black sky as the moon had begun to rise from the ground almost from the scenario. The sky had become very dark for so early in the night but things were strange enough. Almost as if on que a massive bolt of white lightning shot downwards from the sky screaming to the ground below. Almost perfectly the lightning bolt arched and crackled downwards trying to captiavate those who watched as it flashed hitting the pool. A massive erruption of energy seemed to surge from nowhere as the water began to be pushed away from the middle by an unscene force. White light surged from the bottom of the pool creating ripples everwhere as the light began to slowly emerge from the pulsing water. The moon gave an omnious glow to the power that began to emerage as Bra's voice was stuck in the back of her throat as large spikes of blue hair slowly emerged from the water slowly. Ever so slowly the figure revealed itself from the water's depths as if it had been there hiding in wait for its spectators. White glowling eyes slowly came out as scowl or almost angry look was plasterd on the face. Everyone was speechless as arms slowly surfaced outstreched from his body glowing as a aura surrounded his body. Slowly the specks of gold and jewel became obvious as the large red body wrap around his body came out along with wristbands and pure white pants. Bra's eyes rained tears as she was so overwhelmed with what was going on as her children only looked on in shock. The golden boots finally surfaced as Broly's figure floated above the water which sparked white energy still keeping the water below glowing with his power. The strain of energy was obvious as it encircled like winds holding Broly in place as his eyes slowly quit glowing returning to black as his hair slowly dropped down to his back not black as she expected but the pure white of before. His eyebrows followed suite becoming white as Broly stood glowing in the water as his black eyes looked up into Bra's eyes almost happy. " Suprised to see me?

Bra's voice was too constricted in her throat to form words as Broly's form floated from the water over to the grass landing only a few short inches from Bra as she was struggling to take in his presence. " You don't have to speak just come here." Broly said smirking as Bra curhsed her body into his sobbing. Her head burried into his chest as Broly's hand ran through her hair. His children made their way over as Bulla grabbed her mother's and father's leg and Ralliek only stood nearby them.

" How! How can you! How can you still be alive!?" Bra sobbed into his chest. Broly only nuzzeld her neck affectionately as Bra's tears began to fade into whimpers and soft cries. His hands rubbing down her back soothingly as his tail wraped around her waist. Broly waited until the clear blue eyes stared up into his black ones as he smiled down lovingly at her.

" Something's draw you from even insantity back to reality, I could feel your life in front of me and unfortunately the attack was far too along to stop as all I could do was teleport away before it finally exploded. I traveled as beam of lightning until regaining my form back under that water." Broly said as he tilled her chin up to his own. " But that doesn't matter does it love?"

Bra opend her mouth to speak but Broly used that instant to plunge his tounge deep into her mouth tasting her and clamp his own mouth around her's kissing her deeply and violently but with passion not lust. Bra only let her own tounge reach into his mouth and run over his teeth tasting him as well. Broly couldn't of imagined his life being so more perfect after this. His mate and himself tyed up with their tounges battling and their children close by. ' The night only gets better!' Broly heard in his head as his black eyes opened up starring into his mates.

' I would expect no less my love..... Forever we are together..... the emerald flame that once kept my soul completely hidden is now gone replaced by our pure love and our bond together for now we live in my pure flame.....' Broly's white aura flared around them engulfing his family as he finally found true peace now... Beacause in the end Love Is All That Matters!
