Three days after Trunks read Gotens journal, Goten came out of his coma.

“Where I’m I?” Goten asked in a dazed and confused manner.

Trunks jumped right on Gotens chest and wrapped his arms around him while crying “Oh Goten don‘t ever do that! I love you!”

As Goten looked at Trunks crying on him and around the room his memory came back on what happened. Goten than slowly moved his right hand to where he stabbed himself and felt a bandage. Goten was shivering as he felt the bandage and placed his hand on Trunks hair.

“I’m sorry….” Goten said.

“No, I’m sorry Goten I shouldn’t have over reacted!” Trunks said with tears still flowing down his face. “Goten will you please marry me, I LOVE YOU!” Trunks just busted out.

Goten was amazed at what Trunks said and tears began to flow his face over all the emotions that were going through him. “I’m sorry but no…you deserve someone better than me.” Goten managed to get the words out.

Trunks was in shock and his mouth dropped as he managed to say “What?”

“I’m sorry Trunks but with everything that has happened I’m not worthy of your love.”

Trunks just ran out of the room crying as he ran down the hall passed everyone. Everyone was surprised at Trunks just running away crying. Bulma, Vegeta, and Bra ran to catch Trunks while Goku, Chi Chi, Gohan, and Videl walked in the room where Goten was.

“Oh thank god your okay!” Chi Chi yelled while she hugged Goten.

“Listen son, I’m sorry for hitting you a few weeks ago…I shouldn’t have done that” Goku said while taking a seat on the other side of the room.

“No, no it’s okay” Goten said with a half smile.

“Goten, why did Trunks run away crying just now” Gohan asked in a curious tone.

“He asked me to marry him and I said no” Goten said while looking down at the bed.

Everyone was shocked at what he said. And at the same time they all said “WHY?!?!”

Looking at the journal on the bed he managed to say “You read what happened to me. I don’t deserve someone like him.”

Just then the doctor walked in “Hello, Goten glad to see you fully recovered from everything” she also added “Could you please excuse us, I need to examine him.” When everyone left and the door was shut she turned and smiled saying “Hello, my name is Dr. Kait” She asked Goten a lot of questions about how he was if anything hurt.

“Um, when can I go home?” Goten said in a week tone.

“Well actually whenever you want to” she said with a smile. “You have been here a week and all your wounds are healed just a few burses” but than her face turned into a frown “there is one problem though…um well you can’t walk for a little while.”

“WHAT!?!?” he yelled back in amazement “I was walking before I stabbed myself.”

“Well yes but after you got beat by Hank didn’t your legs hurt you?” Kait asked

“Yeah now that you mention it but I felt worse” Goten replied.

“Some of your bones broke and will take a while to get healed so your going to have to be in a wheelchair for a while.” Kait said. “Well I‘m going to tell everyone your okay and you can leave” she said as she made her way to the door.

“Wait, can you ask Gohan to come in here by himself?” Goten asked

“Sure” Kait said as she left the door.

Gohan came in to room with a worried face and asked “What, can I do for you?”

“Gohan, can I please stay with you until I get better and will be able to get my own place?” Goten begged his older brother.

“Okay, but wouldn’t you want to live with Mom, Dad, and Trunks?” Gohan replied.

“Not really…” Goten said while turning his head to the ground.

“Okay no problem I’ll tell the others and then we can go when you want to” Gohan smiled as he went out of the room.

While Gohan went outside he noticed Trunks was there and ready to take Goten home. Gohan told everyone the news. After an hour of paper work they all left. Gohan and Videl took Goten to their house. When Goten got into his room he just got into bed and started to cry himself to sleep. A little have two hours Gohan knocked on the door and woke Goten.

“Hey Goten, dinner is ready” Gohan said through the door.

Goten got out of bed and into his wheelchair. He rolled into the kitchen and sat at the table next to Pan.

“Hey Goten, can I ride your wheelchair after dinner?” Pan said with a innocent smile.

“PAN!!!” Videl hissed at her daughter.

“Oh, no its okay…she can ride if it‘s okay with you” Goten said while laughing.

“…Okay after dinner and you have to eat all your vegetables” Gohan said trying to reason with his daughter.

During dinner Goten didn’t eat that much and Videl was worried about her brother-in-law. He used to be so cherry and now he is just depressed. When they were done Goten sat on the couch and put Pan on the wheelchair. The doorbell rang a few minutes later and Pan wheeled her way to the door to let the people in.

“IT’S VEGETA AND TRUNKS!!!” Pan yelled to everyone.

Gohan and Videl watched as Gotens became nervous.

“Hello Goten, I wanted to talk to you” Vegeta said as he sat down next to Goten.

“Yes?” Goten replied.

“I wanted to tell you why you couldn’t change into a Super Saiyan and still can’t” Vegeta said “It’s because you feel like your lower than dirt. Saiyans are proud and when one feels like giving up you can’t transform again.”

“OH!” Goten replied.

“Also there’s one more thing” Vegeta said in a awkward way.

“Yes” Goten replied.

“Well I’m sorry for calling you a cunt and not letting you speak when you were trying to explain what happened” Vegeta said with a weird face expression that he never saw on Vegeta. “Oh, also I think you should get back together with Trunks he really loves you.”

Vegeta got up and walked to where Videl and Gohan were listening on their conversation. Trunks than walked to where his dad was sitting and sat down and looked at everyone. Videl, Gohan, Pan, and Vegeta than walked into the other room.

“Goten are we through?” Trunks said in a sad tone.

“How could you want to be with me?” Goten asked while staring at his feet.

“It wasn’t your fault and we didn’t let you speak” Trunks said while trying to get Goten to look at him.

“I do love you it’s just well lets take it slow” Goten said while trying to force himself to look at Trunks in the eyes.

Trunks smiled and said “Okay, but will you please move back in with me I missed you?”

“I don’t know…” Goten said as he looked back at his feet.

“PLEASE! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!” Trunks begged.

“Okay I’ll move back in with you” Goten said as he looked at Trunks with a innocent smile.

Trunks was so overwhelmed with happiness he just launched at Goten and hugged him. Everyone overheard them and Vegeta came out with Gotens wheelchair.

“Well I’ll take the wheelchair you carry Goten” Vegeta smirked to his son, Trunks.

“What, didn’t you drive?” Goten asked in a confused way.

“Nope we flew here” Trunks said in a smile as he picked up Goten.

As they walked out Goten pushed his head to Trunks chest as hard as he could. He felt safe and warm. He forgot how much he missed being held by Trunks.

A few weeks went by since that night Goten moved back in with Trunks and Goten could change back into Super Saiyan mode and he was fully healed. He became the old cherry Goten everyone knew. At the end of August Trunks tried to propose to Goten once again, but this time Goten said yes. The two than lived happily ever after.
