'Out in the fields
Where the farmers grow bread
When called for the meals
They took for the shed
Then dark came to fall
And silence was all
A beauty shone bright
Surrounded by light'
It was just one of those typical, slightly boring days. I'd spend my time helping on my stupid parens' farm, and listen to some music.
Just like every other day we'd work until dusk, and than we would go to barn to get some food.
After working a long day, it was lovely to get some time for yourself, just to unwind and relax a little. Which was needed at times, because I swear, I sometimes wished the stupid cows dead and the grain away.
Except for this one day, this one day that I met him.
We had just had dinner, or well, my parents' version of dinner, and I was the last one to leave the godforsaken barn.
The stupid hay on the ground was itching my feet because I left my boots at the doorway, and I was just mumbling something to myself.
Until all went dark.
'I fell in love with an alien
I fell in love with her eyes
I fell in love with an alien
I'm telling you no disguise
I'm in love with an alien
I'm in love with her eyes
I'm in love with an alien
I'm telling you no disguise'
Okay, so I admit; it may not be correct to place this song with my feelings.
It wasn't a chick that appeared, hell no, it was a man. A tall man, a quite sexy man, a... Green man.
A bit confused and startled I stood up quickly and took a few steps backwards. I had no idea aliens existed, or whether they would or would not come in peace to this planet.
"It appears I'm not on the right location." A deep voice came from the tall, green being, and I sighed.
A sigh of relief, let me tell you that.
"T-than where s-sh-should you b-be?" I stuttered in disbelief.
"Well, not here." He said, cocking an eyebrow. "And where I should be, is none of your business, now is it?"
I nodded silently. Better not to cross swords with a huge green being, I don't feel like ending up dead yet.
However I wasn't as scared as you would expect. It was more the surprise that made me act like that, not the fact I feared aliens.
I don't fear anything, as a matter of fact, except for maybe spiders.
Which isn't a great fear if you live on a farm, let me tell you that.
No, I wasn't scared. And when he didn't kill me, I was finally able to act a bit normal.
"Do you come in peace?" I asked.
He looked at me funnily, and snickered. "Yes I do."
After that I wasn't able to speak anymore. I was intrigued by his eyes, that seemed so dark, yet so... Oh, I don't know.
'The moon went to bed
The sun growing red
A scarecrow appeared
And chased her in fear
She send me her love
Her love to me
And then we did grow
A big family'
I can't help but listening to this stupid song time after time after time after time.
I suppose it is because this is the song that explains my mood and feelings the best, and I need music to help me cope with things, but still.
It remained a stupid song.
The alien, he told me his name was Piccolo, didn't leave right away.
I'm not saying we grew a big family, though I wouldn't have complained if we had, but he didn't leave me like that either.
I don't know what it is with love. I don't know whether it's something that has to grow, or whether it is something that happens at first sight, but I can say for sure that in this case it was at first sight.
I was just starting to relax in his presence, when I heard a noise coming from behind the door.
Piccolo looked up with a look that appeared to reflect anger, and I got scared again.
"I don't want nobody to see me here." He grunted.
I obviously thought something like; I already did, but I didn't want to sound like some annoying smart-mouth.
The noise disappeared and I relaxed again.
I stared at the sexy alien again, and he walked up to me.
At this point not feeling the urge to flee anymore, I let it be. If he wanted to kill me, he'd probably be faster than I, and if he didn't, I was just a lucky person.
"I have no idea who you are, but you're quite cute." He grunted when he came closer.
I felt my knees get weak and grabbed an iron bar behind me to prevent myself from falling to the ground or something.
I sure as hell was stupid enough to fall down in situations like that...
The green man, which was a title that made me laugh since Type O Negative had a song that was called the Green Man, closed in to me.
His hand, with evil nails I must add, touched my chin, and he lifted my head.
He bended down a bit, being way too tall for me, and his lips grazed mine for a split second.
"I might come back for you someday." Were the last words he said before leaving again to God-knows-where.
'Fell in love with an Alien
Fell in love with her eyes
Fell in love with an Alien
I知 telling you no disguise
I知 in love with an Alien
I知 in love with her eyes
I知 in love with an Alien
I知 telling you no disguise'
I want to kill the Kelly Family for writing this the wrong way. The she in the chorus is starting to bother the hell outta me.
And so does the whole 'grow a big family' part.
'She came looking out babe
for a Romeo 祖aus
She ain稚 looking out babe
for a homeboy'
Come on, here's the she again...
I don't think Piccolo came out looking for anything, he just appeared on the right place on the right time.
Which I am quite graceful for.
I hope he will come back though. I don't care when, or where he will take me, but everything will be better than living on this stupid farm.
'Fell in love with an Alien
Fell in love with her eyes
Fell in love with an Alien
I知 telling you no disguise
I知 in love with an Alien
I知 in love with her eyes
I知 in love with an Alien
I知 telling you no disguise'
Yeah, I fell in love with an alien... I'm telling you, no disguise.
