& #8220;Mom, please come home.” Trunks pleaded sitting next to her by Goku’s pool. The Son family splashed and laughed, playing pool volleyball. Nesa sat on the steps, only getting her legs wet to soak her swollen feet.
“Why? I’m having a great time.” Bulma smiled taking a bite of a hotdog. “It was Vegeta’s wish. He wanted me to leave him alone. Now I am.”
“It’s been two weeks--”
“I am quite aware how long it’s been. Definitely not long enough. Trunks, I don’t have a reason to go back. What did he ever offer me? He treats me like shit. Hurts me mentally and emotionally. He’s no father. He’s no husband. I’m having fun, Trunks. Do you know how long it has been since I’ve been really happy?”
“You have a reason to go back no matter anything else.”
“And what’s that?”
“You love him.”
“Love only goes so far, Trunks. I’ve given up. If he wants me to come back, then he must come to me. But I would rather be on Namek then crawl back to a man that does not deserve what I try to give. I’m tired, Trunks. I’m tired of living with that man.”
Trunks shook his head. Tears trying to come through but he swallowed them. “You know, Dad was right. You are a selfish bitch.”
She swung from her chair, Trunks quickly standing to face her contemp. “How dare you!”
“Mom, don’t you see! Dad doesn’t want you to do things with him out of obligation.”
“Stay out of this, Trunks. This has nothing to do with you. And don’t you dare talk to me like that again. I have given you more then you should ever want. So you respect me, or consider yourself homeless.” Her glare sent through him and depressingly Trunks shook his head, turning away with nothing else to say. Bulma sighed heavily, exasperated.

Bulma didn’t even send anyone back to capsule Corps. for clothes or other needs. Instead she just bought nearly the whole mall and also got a small one person little house that was both a bedroom and kitchen. The closet was the entire living room.
She smiled and winked at the attractive young man who was serving her food. It had been awhile since she ever felt this beautiful. “You’re Bulma Briefs.” He smiled with a gentle, confident voice. Bulma nodded trying to hide her laughter. This kid was like twenty years old and he was trying to hit on a forty-year old - married with two kids-
Woman. He was way out of his league.
“I have been a big fan of yours since I saw you on that Dragon ball show. I was very surprised when they got rid of it.”
“Yes, well, I got pregnant.” Bulma hid her smile behind her hand. He wasn’t expecting that but it seemed to not bother him.
“You are very gorgeous, and your eyes. Man, kami must have broken the mold after you.” Her blush only pushed him further. “I have a picture of you when you starred in the swimsuit calender. The sexiest body I have every seen.”
“Well thank you, honey. Might I say you are pretty nice looking yourself.” He giggled shyly.
“Is it true that you and your husband are separated?”
“Yes. Thank Kami.”
“So, umm.. I know this is a long shot but I could never forgive myself for not asking. Would you like to go out to a movie or something sometime? I know the age difference but you just don’t know how much I love you.”
Bulma smirked, “I would love to. How about tonight?”

What the hell was she doing? Was she trying to get this young man killed? If any camera catches them, Vegeta will surly know and come directly to her.
But isn’t this what she wanted?
Okay so it wasn’t exactly why she had left, what she said to Trunks. But there was a relation.
Bulma had wanted to get away from him, to regain a strength in the relationship between them. But then it became bigger then that. After everything she had given up to be with Vegeta, he is ungrateful. She wanted time for her. Didn't she deserve a release from the craziness of the aliens that invade her life?
Bulma shook her head, it doesn’t matter what he thinks and it doesn’t matter about all of his words. What did matter was the fact that she would never be what he wanted her to be. And visa-versa.
She wanted to be young again, and not so suddenly and quickly fastened to the murderer that he use to be. She wanted freedom again, to know if someone could treat her as she wanted to be a treated. A human being able to give her human needs.
And when she went out that night, that was all she wanted. The man had picked her up at the Son building in his black mustang, pimped out to the full extend. Bulma hopped in ignoring the glare she was receiving from Chi-Chi and the disappointment of Goku’s senseless gaze. He even had an opinion on this which had shocked her.
`````
“Bulma, you can’t really be cheating on Vegeta. Come on, you guys are like made for each other. Besides,” He added with a goofy grin, “Vegeta’s pretty lost without you. And he just might go off the deep end. You know like blow up the world or something.”
Bulma only smiled, “And that is why I have you for a best friend. Goku, I not cheating on Vegeta. I’m just exploring other options. He got to and I had let him slide, I think I’m due for some lost human attention.” Goku was pretty much confused at that part.
But he just grinned, “Come on, B. Vegeta loves you.”
“Yeah, well, sometimes I’m not so sure.”
“Bulma--”
“Goku, just don’t. You don’t understand and I don’t think you will ever. And that’s great. You love Chi-Chi and Chi-Chi loves you. But sometimes there are things love just can’t replace.”
“Yeah but Vegeta--”
“Damn it! Why can’t anyone ever agree with me? I know Vegeta inside and out and everything you say and what everyone else says I know already! I don’t need to be told about my husband! Why am I never allowed to be upset with him! I get burned for the smallest things just because he’s ‘sensitive’? Give me a break. He needs reality every now and again. He can’t get everything he fucking wants all the time. I am so sick of always being the bad guy. Where were you Goku, when Vegeta cheated on me? Where were you when he called me a bitch? Where were you when I was left alone with a child at the age of eighteen? Why can't I ever get what I want?" She sighed calming her straining voice. "Don’t you see what I’m trying to do, Goku? I'm trying to find me. I lost myself so long ago and I'm just now realizing it. I'm not me anymore because I had to change. Why is it that Vegeta gets to be the same? I'm trying to force Vegeta to see that I do give so much. I'm giving him everything to make him better. Leaving him just might be a kick in the head and then he'll understand life doesn't go as planned. He needs to let go. And that I cannot help. I can just point him in the right direction."
“Yeah, I don’t get it.”
```````
“Ready Beautiful?”
Her thoughts interrupted and she found herself before a great brilliant light that flashed, ‘McDonald’s’. She laughed at the sight but was obviously deeply approved. He opened her door and helped her out. Her smile never weakening. “It’s been forever.” She whispered interlacing their hands together.
“Well, I thought you would be sick of everything that’s so expensive and richy, I wanted to take you out to something different. Plus I can’t really afford every much.” She laughed but loved it. It was a normal night. Nothing blowing up, no husband fighting demons, no son having a baby so young. And Poor little Bra who was with her parents. Kami how she was neglecting her little girl.
The news spread fast and before they were even ready to order cameras were flashing and reporters were shoving there way in. Mykka swallowed her in his arms, apologizing profusely and Bulma decided to kiss him to shut the child up. And then he started to respond. His tongue forced his way, Bulma trying to hide her laughter. So different from Vegeta. This man was so sloppy, their lips opening and closing at spadic times, both her and his faces were covered in saliva.
Bulma yanked away, grabbing the hand of the young man and fled for the door. Her laughter spilled into the street and they fled to the car, only to watch it bounce in the air in the explosion.
Though the whole crowd gasped and shriked, Mykka wrapped his arms around her to cover her from the flames, but Bulma saw him, no one else. She caught his eyes as cold and far from her. And he just turned away and disappeared. He just turned away.
Bulma reacted quickly, slipping a capsule of a customized corvet convertible into his pockets. “I have to go.”
“What? What the hell happened to my car!” He screamed not in anger, but it shock.
“It was my husband.”
His eyes swung to her, “He’s insane!”
“Yes.” She nodded with a smile, “He is.” Bulma popped out a motorcycle and hopped on it, pictures and questions were ignored as she floored it.
But she didn’t go home, she didn’t go after him. It was pointless, he needed time to think and if he even sees her at the state that he is in, he’d lose it.
So she waited without sleep till morning came and the face of a disappointed Goku met her at the breakfast table. Bulma rolled her blue eyes, “Take me to him.”
“No.” And it was with a bright smile as he sat down at the table before his buffet of food.
“What?” Even Chi-Chi had to stall in her cleaning to glance at him.
“Nope.” He said it with rice full in his mouth.
“Why not?” Her hip went out and the hand was quick to take its’ place.
“Because. He doesn’t want to see you.”
“How do you know?”
“Met with him a few hours ago. He’s pretty mad. Sure doesn’t want to see you. Man, I didn’t know Vegeta knew so many bad words. He said so many things about you Bulma that I never wanted to know. Do you really not have any hair?”
“Goku!” Chi screamed.
“What? You do so why doesn’t Bulma?”
Beat red burned her face but that was the end of it for Bulma. She was out the door and on her bike. She made a straight line for C.C. only to find out her whole staff fleeing from the premises.
She stalked through the automatic door, keeping a pace that made her hair fly all about and the leading technition nearly had to run to stay by her side. “He’s been in the new dome for two hours, Mrs. Briefs. And the gravity, his power, and the strength of the walls--If you don’t get him out in the next few minutes we will be in the center of a blast more powerful then the Atomic 2 bomb! Not to mention that with the blast, the gravity will destroy gravity on Earth!”
Her anger was way beyond her own imagination but while listening to this guy she just wanted to scream at Vegeta for being stupid. But since he wasn’t here at the moment she picked a target. “Juan.” Her leading Technition nodded, “You’re fired. And-Oh” Bulma gripped the arm of a passing employee, “And you’re fired. In effect everyone in here with brown eyes, is fired. Except my secretary. Now get everyone out of this fucking building except you Juan, you’re not fired until you do the following.” She turned to him suddenly finding his wide fearful and panicking eyes, his body shaking as she watched him sweat fell from his brow. “Shut the machine off.” Anger sprewed each word and the leading man realized just why he was fired. He nodded, bowed in humiliation and quickly ran off.
Bulma pulled away her hair from her wet face, hands gliding down her body straightening herself out while trying to shake off her own fear.
The sound of the gravity lowering vibrated the air. The loud annoying warning siren was finally dead.
Bulma took a deep, strong breath and ventured into the room only to find herself unable to move. Bulma’s eyes were wide finding her bloody husband with his bleeding hand out pointed in her direction keeping her in a bubble with his powerful force. His mouth was open in his fast panting, blood dripping down his temple. “Do not come near me.” He whispered with such vehement betrayal. “You have lost your right.”
“Vegeta--”
“Thi s is not Vegeta.”
Terror shook her body. “Then who?”
“His first protector. You have failed. Give me reason not to kill you.”
“Please, Radditz, understand what I was doing before you do something Vegeta would not for--”
“You care not of him. You speak to save your life.”
“Yes, I care for my life. But so does he.”
“You have betrayed him.”
“No, I haven’t, I love him--”
“You forget those words mean nothing to a Sayian!”
“It means something to him. He is not yours to protect anymore Radditz, he is mine.”
“He will always be mine, bitch. I am in his mind and never forgotten. My patience is getting short. Vegeta does not want you dead, the only reason you still breath, but I will do what I can to keep him from any pain.”
“Radditz, why do you think I left him?”
“To find a life somewhere else.”
“No, Radditz. That’s not it at all. Yes, I was an idiot and I apologize to you Radditz, for thinking that I could not take care of him, but I can. And what I was trying to do was make him stronger. Make him realize that he does actually have a wonderful life.”
“He knows!”
“He does not! If he did he wouldn’t be so lost from me.”
“He knows. From his young life he has been hurt. But with you, you sooth what I thought was impossible. You expect too much out of him.”
“You’re right I do. And I wish I could change that. But I’m trying to help him the best way I know how. I need him to know that I was trying to make him stronger. Trying to show him that without me, he can survive on his own.”
“And that is where you misjudge. A Sayian has no life if he is not owned. You are his mate, there should be no reason for him to be on his own. He is young, Bulma. He is a child still. And you think that he doesn’t feel for you. Why isn’t there proof enough of this fact.”
“There is proof. I don’t know why I blew this out of proportion. I wanted to know what it was like to know a human’s touch. It’s been so long. And Yamcha, I was young. I wanted to know if I was actually capable of human love. But I’m not. I don’t want flowers, or chocolate, or romantic getaways, being swept off my feet, or having a man worship the ground I walk on. That all sounds great but not to me. I didn’t know that before. And now, I know that whatever it is I wanted, I was blind to the fact that Vegeta was doing everything I could ever desire in, not a man, but a Sayain Prince, to do. If Vegeta could ever forgive me after this, if my punishment is for him to leave then I will spend the rest of my life alone and miserable and regret all of my stupid mistakes. Radditz, please allow him to return to me.”
His head tilted, not a Vegeta movement at all, but that eyebrow rose, “Do you really feel this?”
She smiled, a tear escaping, rolling down her cheek. “Yes.”
“After all that has happened in his past? You care not for that?”
“I care. I care that millions of people were killed. But I know his sorrow. I feel it.”
“You left so quick.”
“I’m a spoiled brat, Radditz. I didn’t get what I thought I wanted. So I left. I was wrong.”
“You fight for him.”
“Yes.”
“You do not fight for your life.”
“No. All I want is for him to be happy. Kami believe me Radditz. I went the wrong way. I made a mistake. Forgive me.”
“If I am called upon again female--”
“No, never.”
There was a short hesitant nod as the hand fell and both of their bodies collasped to the floor. Bulma rubbed her bent hand gazing out between her blue hair her husband, shaking, sweating, panting as he pulled himself up on his hands and knees. Slowly his eyes lifted, he caught her gaze for a full minute till he past out.
