Well you've done enough to prove us all
Won't let them get you down
But now I think the moment's there
To show yourself your weaknesses

~~~ Flashback~~~
Demons. Short for Dementia’s. Beings too powerful for the universe to have created yet existed in spite. And Frieza wanted them.
No one has ever seen a Demon. They live on their world without problem. They bother no one and no one bothers them. That is the way it had been before time had even existed. And Frieza desired them.
The most powerful Demon, the queen, to be exact was what Frieza hunted. Queen Kana, with the power to travel dimensions with a blink of an eye, change perception to her will, and move with the grace and power of a goddess. Her body ghost like, only whole when standing still and the wind ceased to blow.
All demons were as ghosts. Their bodies faded in and out of existence, and could teleport through space, but only the queen had the strength to pass right through dimensions. And that is what Frieza wished.
Vegeta growled, his tail whipping behind him, gazing on the red land that covered the ground before his eyes. His army stood behind him as the Demons’ bodies flickered from sight only to return when the wind calmed. His only job was to get to the queen.
The war has started. They appeared out of no where, swords going straight through their transparent bodies. It was a pointless battle. All of Frieza’s men that stood on this planet will parish, but that was not his concern. He jumped to the air and fled straight to the castle. As predicted, guards were on the battlefield. Vegeta stocked right into the throne room and there she sat. Emotionless.
Vegeta strutted up to her, stopping before the stairs, gazing upon her old form. She stood, the movement causing holes to blow straight through her only fixing when she was straight. “Prince Vegeta. Sayian No Oujin. The Legendary Savior.”
“On behalf of the Ice-jin Empire, Queen Kana, you are now a possession.”
“Just as you.” She smiled slightly upon his deep growl. “Young one. What is that you seek?”
“You know very well why I am here.”
“No, child. Why are you here? Do you even know?”
“Meaningless words. There is no use trying to talk you’re way out of this. Come with me now and be harmless or fight and bleed.”
“Do you think your strength against my power will equal? Savior, I think you kid yourself. Take your people and leave my planet and we shall forgive and forget Frieza’s foolishness.”
“I am not leaving without you in chains.”
“Then you leave never.”
“If so be it.”
Her see through feet traveled down the stairs till she stood a foot taller before him, gazing down. “Do you want to die, Savior?”
“I will die when I chose.”
“You think so?” The old woman smiled lightly, “Strong. But so very weak.”
“I have no time for this.”
“Oh, then make time. For there is always time for words to stall death.”
“You stall nothing but my permission to leave this planet.”
“Permission? And who’s permission? Certainly the Legendary needs no one’s permission. Unless you are a slave.”
Vegeta growled warning, barring his teeth. “I am no slave.”
“Then who’s permission do you wait for?”
“My own. I will not leave until you are in my ship.”
“And what do you need me for? I am nothing in this vast universe. Perhaps…” She slandered to the window to gaze out at the battle not two miles away. “Perhaps rumor has you wondering.”
“Rumor? I listen nothing so foolish. I follow facts and that is all.”
“So you do not wonder if I have the ability to take you back in time? Or even if I can take you to a dimension where your race awaits you?”
“Not even Demons have such power.”
“But I am not a normal Demon. I am the Queen of Dementias. Does that not mean I have powers no one else can conjure? And allow me to inform, Savior, that I do.”
“Stop calling me Savior.”
“But aren’t you? Aren’t you the Savior of thousands?”
“I am the savior of thousands of the dead.”
“Is that not in a way saving?”
“In the minds of the corrupted.”
“Savior, aren’t you a Corrupt?”
“This battle of wits is meaningless. I will bring you to Frieza now.” His hand went to grasp her but the movement caused her hand to become transparent and unattainable.
“Frieza will wait. He will wait till the Super Sayian of the future destroys him.”
“To speak such treason.” Vegeta smirked, knowing that it would be him.
“I speak truth, treason are lies. I see futures and pasts that could have been or will be. I see yours in many shades. Many ways for you to become a monster, or a Prince. Only you chose which. I see your past, the death of--”
“Speak nothing, fool!
Her white brows knitted. “Pain? Is that the emotion I sense? The Savior feels pain? But does he know that?”
“Sayians feel nothing.”
“Then this will not effect you.” Vegeta took a step back when the wind suddenly struck hard inside the castle and a flash of an image appeared before him. White silk traveled down a woman’s back, black hair swayed and a tail flickered behind. Slowly she turned and the red eyes of blood met his own. “My young Prince. You appear amazed. That is an emotion, my Savior.”
“Turn back…” He whispered much against his inner wishes to see those eyes that he had so long ago forgotten. But then for so long haunted him. Vegeta had pushed his mother away from his mind, rid her of memory, and now here she was standing before him, just like the last time he saw her alive.
“My child, that is not what you want. Have you forgotten me?”
Vegeta, without will of his own, slowly, comatose-like shook his head, “Never.”
“But you bury me. You bury me as your father had buried me. When will you release me?” She took a step closer, the white silk gown swayed with each movement. Vegeta could only stand without thought. “So tainted, you are, my child. What has your father done to you? Have you forgotten all that I taught you? What happened to your heart?” Her tan fingers touched his cheek, his eyes closed only for a moment.
Realization kicked in and he pulled back, now glaring at her with eyes of a normal Sayian, cold, and callous. “Turn back, Demon.”
“Where is your heart, my Savior?”
“It is dead along with you.”
“I live within you, my son. But you lock me away.”
“Your ways, will lead me to my death.”
“My ways, will lead you to the Legendary.”
“Emotions will only cause pain.”
“Pain is sometimes necessary, so we remember that we are not invincible.”
“I have been made fully aware of that.”
“Not physical, I speak of. What have the gods done to you?”
“They have made me strong.”
“They have made you a slave.” He growled, his tail whipping behind him, but she was unfazed. “My Prince, do you even remember that you are royalty?”
“My royal blood has all been shed. You may thank your mate for that.”
“Your father did what was best. You may not see that now, but in time.”
“Enough of this. You know nothing, demon. You speak things that you know not.”
“But I know everything. I know your heart, my son.
“I gave up my heart.”
“Then the Legendary you are destined for will never be yours. If only the gods had given you more time. You would be the Savior the stars had predicted.”
“I will become a Super Sayian, mother.”
“You will son. But not in time. Death awaits if you choose a wrong path. Do right, Vegeta, not what Frieza tells you is right and not what your father had dreamed, But do right by me, my child.”
“I will do what is right for me. Now, Queen Kana you will come with me.” Vegeta gripped her wrist. With a sudden wisp of wind, a fist struck his face but he refused to loosen his hold,
“Fool! When will you learn!” Vegeta’s wide eyes returned to find the mirror of his reflection, older, darker, stronger. “Stupid child!” But before he could comprehend, the picture flew away and a female no taller then up to his shoulder stared at him. The glass glittered in the sunlight as it rose, blood drenched him. Vegeta stepped back, holding his bloody hands before him in shock, and soon, Frieza was now smirking his red lips, tail whipping behind him, “Congratulations, Monkey Prince, you just destroyed the last Sayian Female.” Vegeta glanced down, no longer was the blood upon his hands. “Please don’t hurt me.” The little voice whispered against his ear. “Rape her, monkey.”
Vegeta gripped his head suddenly, “Stop it, bitch! Stop it!”
“It hurts, doesn’t it?” Vegeta’s eyes snapped up to see his mother once again, swaying over to the window. “It is what I see when your eyes fix on mine. I see into your soul, as I see into everyone’s. But yours is by far, the most painful. It will take months to recuperate.”
“Why are you still in my mother’s skin?”
“It calms you.” Her blood eyes found his. “It reminds you of what you were set out to do. Find your heart again, my son. It is the only way to save what is left of you.”
“Turn back.” The growl vibrated, and so out of respect for his pain, she returned to her original state.
She glided ghostly to him, so close in his bubble, he nearly felt intimidated but he refused to back up. “Do you still find it wise to take me, Savior? Do you have any idea how Frieza will use my power?”
“I care not. They are orders.”
“Maybe…” The wind blew again.
He covered his eyes “No, damn it not again.” Seeing her standing there was a fright that would never live him down.
“I do not blame you, my Prince. I mean, how could you have known?”
“Turn back!”
Her Sayian form stepped closer, wrapped in a torn spandex suit, her black hair tied to the back of her head. “My Prince, it wasn’t your fault. You had never seen a Sayian female before. You couldn’t have known.”
“Shut up!”
“Please, don’t turn me away my Prince. I live to serve you.” It was when her hand touched his cheek that his Sayian rage could not be withheld, and his pain. So he did the only thing he knew how to, give the pain to someone else. Vegeta attacked without a thought to what he was doing. It wasn’t until she was beaten and fallen till he pulled himself away trying to gain his conscience once again.
He ignored her existents as the white body flew to her feet. “Savior. Pain. They should not equal.”
“Why do you still speak?”
“It was in your mind, Savior. It was all in your mind. I speak and act the things that bother you. So I can help you.”
“I do not need nor want help.”
“We all do. Some more then others. And right now, it is your soul that is bleeding.”
“You only do this so I will not take you.”
“No. I do this as my part. I was destined to help you. It is my fate.”
“And what help is this?”
“To find your heart of course.”
Vegeta chuckled bitterly, standing, “Just where is my heart, Demon?”
“Planet Earth.”
“Planet Earth? Never heard of it.”
“You will be going there soon. Your heart is there. If you destroy it, Prince, then Frieza is what you will become.”
“And how exactly am I supposed to know, if I destroy it or not.”
“You will know. Frieza will punish you for not taking me. But it will not be unbearable. A mission will lead you there. And soon you will be able to leave Frieza’s army.”
His back stiffened, tail dropping to the floor, “Leave?”
She smiled sadly, “Leave. Go now, Savior. And find your heart.”
~~~~~~~~~~````` End

His eyes fluttered soon meeting the gorgeous skies that were his wife’s eyes. But the sun was not shining in their reflection. Hell has temperally taken control and fire now burned all the sweetness.

Bulma flicked him right above his wound causing agony that was so strong he had to release it vocally. He glared at her holding his shoulder to the best of his ability. “Do you want to die?”

“I will die when I choose.” His eyes closed tiredly, not wanting to deal with the woman, her words were lost to him in his musings of his memories.

“Oh, you think so? Bullshit! You fucking nearly died AGAIN! Goku had to fucking revive you, you stupid mother fucker! Your heart stopped beating, Vegeta! It stopped!--”

“I saw my mother.”

“I couldn’t fucking-- What?”

A smile nearly graced his tired lips, whispering just lightly, “I saw her. She was as I remembered.”

Her anger all but fled. Her hand gripped his and she kissed his knuckles, secretly apologizing for blowing up so quickly. “Beautiful?”

“Always.” His black eyes opened barely in their not so awakened state. The pain drove him to the brink of insanity for Bulma had done as he asked and taken him off painkillers. Sweat poured down his face but he was ignorant of all but the sight of her blue orbs shining down upon him. “She wouldn’t let me in.”

Tears dripped down her pale cheek, “I’m so glad she didn’t. I need you here, mate. Your son needs you. Your daughter needs you.”

“She…said…” His lids fluttered while the medication to make him sleep filtered through his system. “She said…I had to find…my heart.”

Bulma smiled, wiping her cheek and leaning down to kiss his capped lips, “It’s all ready been found, my love.” He opened his eyes lightly just once more before receiving the bliss of sleep.
