She stared daggers into the back of Avis' head as she walked behind him. She had a hatred towards him that she knew he would never comprehend. As she followed behind him, she contemplated going astray. A smirk emerged on her face as she thought of how much trouble he would get into for losing her. "Demotion? Beating? Death?" A slight laugh escaped her mouth as her thoughts progressed.

As the laugh echoed behind him, Avis looked over his shoulder to see the blue haired girl smirking at him. "What are you laughing about?" He spat out at her in a stern voice. The look on her face gave everything away, he knew she was plotting something.

"The last time I checked, I could laugh whenever I wanted to." She crossed her arms as she raised a brow at him.

"And the last time I checked, you were a slave to what race again? Oh yeah, that's right, the Saiyan race. Oh, look at that, I happen to be a Saiyan now aren't I? Mind your betters." He ripped his glare off of her and faced his front again, walking closer to his destination so he could rid himself of this wench. He never liked her. This was the reason he left her to Kane, so he wouldn't have to deal with human nonsense.

Bulma laughed again, this time leaving the sound ringing in his ears. "You, a Saiyan? From what I've seen, you barely qualify. I've seen you train and trust me, if it werent for your blood, I could mistake you for a human." She mocked him. She stopped in her place when she noticed that he had stopped as well. Watching his hands turn into fists, she could read his expression from the back of his head; it was written all over his body. "Oh, what's wrong? Did a little human girl hurt your feelings?" More laughter escaped her.

Cocking his head side to side, he cracked his neck. Once finished, he turned around and in a flash, he pinned her against the wall, both hands on each side of her head. He looked furiously at her eyes as he saw the fear in them.

Bulma's eyes clouded over as the pain from being forced into the wall reminded her of what happened the night before. The force of being pressed against the wall and restrained frightened her. All of the memories of what Vegeta had done to her rushed through her mind, playing like a movie infront of her.

Avis kept his look on her as he watched her; he could tell she wasn't in this world. He watched as her eyes flickered back and forth into his. Who was she looking at? Avis tightened his grip on her wrists and shook them, shaking her whole body in the process, he wanted to knock her out of whatever world she was in and look at him.

"No, stop..." Bulma mumbled out as she stared into Avis' eyes; but she wasn't seeing Avis. There before her, restraining her, was none other than Vegeta. She looked into his devilish eyes as she found herself in his bedroom like last night. His hungry gaze staring at her. She could see everything. Why wont this go away?!

"No, I won't stop! You started this by back-talking me!" Avis spat out, thinking Bulma's comment was directed at him. He shook her once more, this time breaking her cinematic thoughts.

After the wave of panic, her eyes changed from fear into an angry squint. "Say it again," Avis brought his head closer to hers, not breaking the stare, "Compare me to a human one more time. I dare you." He watched as her eyes darted back and forth to meet his.

Snapping out of it she began to chew on her cheek with her teeth. Pressing the thoughts of her nightmare to the back of her mind, Bulma contemplated her choices. If she doesn't reply, then she leaves him with the satisfaction of winning, but if she says anything, he might end her. What could Avis possibly do to her anyway? She was owned by Vegeta, there was no way he could touch her without feeling the wrath of him. After a moment of weighing her options, Bulma looked at him more intently as she began to speak. "Alright," She began, "You're more of a human than you are a Saiyan." She could feel her heart racing through her chest as she slowly spoke those words.

Livid, Avis began to push her harder into the wall as his grip on her wrists began to tighten. He was pleased as a scream of pain began to project out of the small humans mouth. He kept his eyes on hers until she had to close them due to the pain. He would show her how Saiyan he truly was.

The pain that her body was enduring only reminded her more of Vegeta. Her body wouldn't hurt this bad if he hadn't done what he did. Loathful thoughts began to form into her head as she cursed him for all of the cuts and bruises he had given her; making her hurt.

Only a few moments passed by until a voice called out from the other side of the Hallway, "Avis!" the voice shouted. Turning his head, Avis' eyes searched for an image to match the voice. After a few seconds, he saw Kane walking towards him. Leaning his head down to Bulma's ear, Avis began to whisper, "This isn't over." He let out as he sqeezed her wrists even harder for a brief second before releasing her. Not paying any attention to Bulma, Avis focused on Kane. "What do you want?"

Kane waited to speak until he was within reaching distance of his fellow Saiyan. Looking over at Bulma, he watched as she began to rub her red swollen wrists. "What are you doing? You had one simple task and that was to bring her to her destination, and you couldn't even do that!"

"Well, this bitch challenged me! Accusing me of being more human than a Sai--" Avis began, he didn't get to speak for too long before Kane cut him off.

"You're a Saiyan, she is a simple human! At this moment, I would have to agree with her; you're acting more like a human than a Saiyan. Get your fucking act together." Kane's voice began to raise. "You made an entire scene! The only reason I am here right now is because everyone heard her scream. You're lucky Prince Vegeta didn't catch you in your tracks." He walked by Avis and grabbed Bulma by her shoulder, forcing her to walk forward with him; the jolt of him pushing onto her made her gasp a little from pain. "Again, I'll take over your job and get her where she needs to be. Go back to doing whatever you were doing before." Kane spoke over his shoulder as he began to turn a corner. Before they finished making their way around the corner, Bulma looked at Avis and stuck her tongue out at him before she disappeared behind the wall.

She receded her tongue back into her mouth as she finished the corner. An eyeroll followed after. Not paying attention to Kane's hand on her shoulder, she lifted up her wrists so she could see the damage done; they were bruised and a tad swollen. "You should have known better." Kane spoke as he didn't bother to look at her, keeping his stare forward. She looked up at him calmly before returning her vision back to her wounded wrists. "How would I have known when I am nothing more than a simple human?" Bulma questioned him as she placed her hands back to her sides as she walked. For some reason, him calling her a simple human bothered her. She had been called a whore, slut, bitch, wench and all other names possible, but this one stung. The other names she knew she was not, but a human was something she knew she was.

He took a quick glance down at her before darting them back up. He remained quiet as they continued to walk around the palace hallways until they came across an elevator. Stepping inside, Kane pressed the button to activate the elevator. It was a quiet ride up that felt like forever until the box had finally stopped. Stepping out, they made their way to a door that lead to the outside. Kane released his hand from Bulma's shoulder and used it to open the door for her, gesturing for her to exit first.

As she stepped outside, she noticed herself on a bridge that connected from the Palace to the Hospital building. She stepped towards the rail and noticed all of the sights below her. She was so high up, it seemed as though everyone else were small action figures. She was confused as to why they needed a bridge since they could all fly, but it was probably due to formality reasons of some sort. "It's a good thing I'm going to a hospital." she spoke in a low tone while continuing to walk across the bridge.

Kane walked behind her, amused by her reaction of the bridge. As they continued down the path, he realized that besides for her yearly physicals, she had never had to go to the hospital. The only reason she had to go today was because Vegeta had requested it. "We'll have to hurry it up here," Kane began, "We still have places you need to be."
