Chapter 1: How it Begins

All their lives, the human has tried to achieve immortality. To be able to live forever, great…right? It's actually not the most wonderful feeling that you would want to feel.

How do I know?

I have it. That's how I know.

My name is Mirla…at least I think it is…and I am from the planet Aurora in the Borialace system…I hope. After being alive for more than 50,000 years, you kind of lose track.

I look, on the outside, like a normal teenager, but I'm not.

I don't remember much about my past, but I do remember how I got like this. That's right, I wasn't always immortal. And you know? You would never guess who was responsible for it. Go on, guess.

Nope. You're wrong if you said that it was me. It was none other than my own mother. It was all her fault.

And what I'm about to tell you is how she ruined mine, as well as my sisters lives…forever.

There I was, minding my own business and I "get sick" so she goes to the Dragon God, Merloc, and asks him to grant me eternal health and in return she would give him her own body for his pleasure. Of course he didn't accept this offer at first, so she had to throw in something that he might like.

She had to think and all she came up with was her own life to go with it. He wanted more. So, getting agitated, my mother finally asked him what more he wanted.

Any normal man from our planet would die of pure happiness if they even had a conversation with my mother. She was the most beautiful creature on the planet…or so she was told many times.

So what more could he want?

He said that the only other thing he could possibly want from her was not just her, but all of her daughters as well.

This frightened her greatly seeing how she already might lose one of her daughters, but to lose all of them?

Merloc admired her deeply for her courage and her beauty, so they came to an arrangement.

He would grant the wish, but in return he would have my mother and all of my sister. And I would be left alone.

My mother agreed to this and when she returned home that night, I was completely healed.

All of my 9 sisters ran to my mother and asked, with great joy at the time, what she had to do for this wonderful gift.

When they heard what my mother agreed to, their joy vanished.

My mother told them that they would be leaving in the morning to live with Merloc. As you can guess they weren't all that happy about all this.

I was only 14 years old at the time and my mother didn't want to leave me alone. So she also made Merloc agree to allow me to live with them until I was old enough to be on my own. She also made him agree not to place a single hand on me. She didn't want that kind of life for me.

He agreed to this.

The next day we went to the Temple of the Dragons where we were greeted by Merloc himself.

(Just so you know, he himself is not a dragon. He is just their God)

The next thing I knew, I was in a giant palace being shown to my own room by a half-man-half-dragon.

His name was Deromow. He was very kind to me.

For the next two years, I was treated as a Goddess. I had many friends, course most of them were either dragons or half dragons.

I grew to be even more beautiful than my mother and sister put together. Merloc took great note of this. Merloc was more of a father figure to me than anything else.

One night, I was called to his chambers to discuss something of great importance.

"Mirla, you are 16 now and your starting to have interests in boys, yes?" Merloc asked while sitting in a chair across the room from where I stood.

"I haven't really thought about it." I replied sheepishly.

"Well then, do you at least know about sex?" he asked as he stood and began to walk towards me.

"I know enough. Why do you ask?" I began to get a little scared. He had never acted like this around me before.

"Then you know how important it is for your first time to do it with someone special? Right?" he came closer to me and I tried to back away but only ended up in a corner.

"It should be with someone special, don't you think?"

He came so close that I couldn't move an inch.

"What more special…than with a God?"

He lent down into a deep and hard kiss.

The only thing I could do was struggle. He began to tear my close off. In only a few seconds, I was completely nude. I gave out a shriek when he pulled away.

He took a step back and looked me up and down taking in all of my perfect curves.

He was about to lean back for a kiss when something hard came down on his head. He was out cold.

It was my eldest sister, Nina. It was her night to "pleasure" Merloc so she thought that she should get an early start. When she saw what he was doing, she knew she had to do something.

My mother and him had an agreement that I was not to be touched.

Nina and I went to my mother about this and she went to go and talk to Merloc.

She had some of her personal servants come and help her get a still unconscious Merloc into his bed until he awoke.

When he finally did awake, he was not happy, but neither was she.

"I thought we had an agreement. She was not to be touched. Not even by you." She yelled.

"And who's going to stop me? You?"

"You know even if I do let you have her, you won't have her forever. Sooner or later she will get old and you will lose interest in her. Beauty doesn't last forever."

(If you can't tell, this is where she condemns her).

"You know, your right." He then raised his arms and began to chant something in dragon tongue.

-in Mirla's room-

Mirla was sitting on her bed with her sister holding her and rocking her back and forth trying to calm her down. Mirla was crying.

Suddenly, Mirla stopped crying.

Nina pulled back. It appeared that Mirla was in some kind of a trance.

"Mirla?"

She began to glow, then she started to float off the bed. Nina was terrified. Suddenly…

"AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Light surrounded the whole complex and a scream could be herd miles away.

The light faded. An everything went back to normal.

-back in Merloc's room-

"Now she will never get old or die. She will be mine forever and her beauty will be ever lasting."
