Two days ago Kakkarot had gotten Nitara so far that she'd accept his help. He also got her so far that she'd stay at his place for a while, it wasn't responsible to leave her out in the woods on her own.
Goten had immediately taken a liken to her, and hit on her like there was no tomorrow. But she didn't seem affected by this all, she just waved him away whenever he was getting on her nerves.
Chi-Chi hadn't said much when Kakkarot told her an alien woman would be living with them for a while.
"It won't matter what I say, will it? You just do whatever you like, and I'm the one to adjust to that."
Kakkarot had sighed and told her that he would find another place for the alien girl if Chi-Chi had a problem with it, but Chi-Chi had just turned around and went back to cooking.
Kakkarot decided to just let Chi-Chi be, and the girl had come over.
They let her sleep in Gohan's room, because he wasn't sleeping there anymore ever since he had met Videl.
Gohan had been surprised when he found out there was a young woman in his room now.
"She needed a place to stay." Was all Kakkarot said.
"And you're too good to the world, and let her stay." Gohan said, shaking his head. "She might be our next villain."
"I highly doubt that." Kakkarot just replied, and with that the subject was closed.
Gohan, despite the fact he wasn't too happy with the alien girl staying at his parents' house, was the first person to find out something about her.
"So your name is Nitara." He sat down next to the girl. "Where are you from?"
The girl had shrugged. "Planet Reeine."
"Never heard of it."
"Not many have, which I consider a blessing." The girl had answered. "It's not that interesting anyway."
Gohan had turned to look at her. "Of course it is interesting." He said. "I'd like to know where you were headed, and why."
The alien girl suddenly became aware of the fact she was telling about herself, and closed again.
"It doesn't matter." She just said. "Leave it."
Gohan knew when to stop asking, and let the subject rest for that time. He was sure she'd tell him more the longer she knew him, and he could wait. Forever if needed.
Around the same time Vegeta found out Bulma was fixing the girl's ship.
"Odd." He mumbled when he found out she was staying at Kakkarot's house. She could've been at Capsule Corps. but she refused to stay there. Instead she came home with Kakkarot, that stupid baka.
Vegeta told himself it didn't matter, this girl wasn't of any use, and she was kind of rude, so Vegeta didn't mind if she stayed away from him.
He really didn't mind... Right?
He just went back to training as he always did, but couldn't stop wondering. He had been faster than her when she tried to 'rob' him, but he also knew she wasn't just some girl. She had been pretty fast, and Vegeta liked people with a little fighting-spirit. There weren't a lot of those people on planet Earth.
He'd love to know what else she could do, she might prove worthy of his presence after all.
He shrugged and tried to get rid of the thoughts about her, which seemed harder than you'd think.
He decided to go visit the Son's house soon, just to find out who this girl was. He didn't like her, but he did want to know where she was from and all. He bet she had a good reason to flee from her homeplanet.
I do own Nitara and the plot though, and the Rajin-race too.
