Haunted Past

Chapter 18- A Family United.

Author's Note: Alright. I hated how I ended this fic so I'm redoing it. I hope that the ending of this will be more to the liking of my readers.

The years passed quickly it seemed and Arion grew into a strong young man. By the time he was 13, he was sparring successfully with his older brother, father, uncle and cousin. More and more each day, he seemed to become like his father, from the smirk, to the ego.

Athena and Vegeta had 2 more children when Arion was about 10. The 3 year old twins, Luna and Bardock seemed to be more like Athena than Vegeta. Luna had the emerald eyes, facial features and attitude. She would've been a perfect miniature of her mother if her hair wasn't pink. Bardock looked just like his sister and his mother except he had his father's smirk and ebony hair.

Trunks took pride in his little siblings and was arguably as protective of them as their father. While he would never admit it, he loved having them around, even if they did make him feel slightly old. His own daughter, Fascia, was more like her mother Marron. It seemed the only thing she inherited from her father was lavender hair. The 12 year old girl loved going to see her Grandpa and Grandma at Capsule Corp so she could play with her uncle Arion.

Arion answered the knock at the front door and smirked at his brother. "Hey Trunks, can I help you with something?" Trunks ruffled his younger brother's hair and walked inside without speaking.

Luna ran down stairs as if the devil himself was on her tail and hopped into her big brother's arms. "Trunks! Save me from stinky head!"

He looked into her emerald eyes. "Luna, who are you…oh." He tried to contain his laughter as he saw his sister's twin walked down stairs. He had a murderous edge to his gaze and he was scowling much like Vegeta. Super glued onto his forehead was one of Vegeta's socks. "Luna, did you do that to your brother?" She nodded meekly. "Your cousin Goten has been talking to you again, hasn't he?" She nodded again and hid behind his legs.

Bardock smiled at her sweetly. "Luna, loving sister, get this THING OFF OF MY HEAD NOW!!!" Trunks seemed surprised at how much he sounded like the Saiyan prince.

Arion looked between the two before walking over to his younger brother and yanking the sock from his skin. The younger boy screamed in agony and danced around with tears in his eyes. "The thing has been removed." He turned his attention to Trunks. "What are you doing here anyway?"

Trunks gave him a mock look of shock. "Why Arion, one would think you don't want me around." He smirked slightly as Arion's eyes narrowed. "It's Dad and Athena's anniversary and they want to be alone. You, Luna, and Bardock are coming to my house for the night. Fascia's looking forward to having you over." Without any fuss, the three Saiyan children got ready and said goodbye to their parents before going to Trunks' house.

Vegeta turned to see his children fly away. He smirked as pride for each and every one of them filled his heart. `I never thought brats could make a man so happy. Each of them has their own individual good points. Arion is so much like me. Luna…just like her mother. Bardock…he has the level-headedness that I could never obtain. Then there's Trunks. He is everything I always wanted to become.' His eyes focused on his napping mate. `Even Father would be impressed with the onna's strengths…that she passed them onto our brats.'

The woman in question stretched and slowly opened her emerald eyes. She smiled at her mate lovingly. "Hello Vegeta. Did Trunks come to take the brats to his house yet?" Vegeta nodded as he continued to stare at her. "What, do I have something on my face?"

Vegeta smirked seductively as he strolled slowly to the chair that Athena was occupying. He lifted her out of the chair and sat down, placing her comfortably on his lap. "Yes, you do. You have the sexiest lips I've ever seen on a woman." Athena smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close for a soft kiss.

Miles away from Capsule Corp, a Saiyan pod landed silently in the woods. As the pod opened, a large male stepped out and stretched. He looked like Athena but was much taller and looked to be about 19 or 20. The man looked towards the north and growled slightly. "Athena, dear sister, Mother may have written you off, but you will come back to rule our planet."

Goku looked up from what he was doing and seemed to study something. Goten looked up from his food and raised an eyebrow. "Is something wrong Dad?" Goku looked down and made a face before shaking his head.

"No, I just thought I felt something. There was a rise in ki…it was like mine or your Aunt Athena's but different." Goten gave him a strange look before going back to his meal. "Maybe I should go check things out."

Goten shrugged again. "It was probably Arion's. He and Fascia are probably sparring again." Goku just shook his head.

He stood and walked towards the door. "Tell your mother that I'm going out for a while. If she wants to know where, make up something. I promised her I wouldn't fight anymore unless it was in a world tournament." With that, he strolled out the door and took off. Goten just shook his head and continued to eat.

Goku landed next to a Saiyan pod and furrowed his brow. `What is going on here?' Before he could take another step, he saw a male saiyan that looked like a younger Raditz. "Raditz?!"

The male turned around and glared at Goku. "Raditz was my brother. I have no idea who you are, but I'm looking for a discolored Saiyan. Princess Athena, do you know of her?"

Goku blinked and nearly fell over. "Athena is my sister, Raditz was my brother. Who are you?"

The unknown male bowed slightly before he introduced himself. "My name is Sora. I am the son of Bardock and Hera." He looked up at his sibling. "I suppose you are Kakarot, son of my father. Father told me of you. Now, will you tell me where Athena is?"

Goku studied the younger man. He did look exactly like his brother but with lighter brown hair. "Why do you need to see her?" He crossed his arms over his chest and sighed, waiting for his answer.

"I do not believe it is any of your concern. I do however think that you would be wise to tell me where she is."

Goku raised his eyebrow and stepped forward. "She's probably with her mate, Vegeta, and I don't believe they wish to be bothered. After all, they DID send their children to their older brother's house."

"Well then brother, lead the way." Sora uncrossed his arms and levitated off of the ground, waiting for Goku to lead the way. Sighing softly, Goku lifted off and flew towards Capsule Corp.
