Heart And Soul of the Saiyain Prince
There once was a prince who was very young and very energetic. He was the prince of a powerful race of warriors, the Saiyains. Prince Vegeta was not alone because he had a twin sister. The only thing he openly cared about was her. They were each total opposites but together they were the perfect warrior. She was his heart and soul while he was her strength and fighting spirit. This is not the story of Prince Vegeta because that has been told. This is the story of his heart and soul, his twin sister, Princess Regina.
Chapter One:
Princess Regina, as beautiful as she was deadly, was with her brother when their home was destroyed. She felt the instant the blast hit the planet. She could hear the screams echo through her head. Her brother felt none of this. She knew what had happened and her anger raged.
"We have been tricked, brother." Regina balled up her fists in anger.
"What are you going on about?" Vegeta looked up from his canteen with anger.
"Frieza has destroyed our planet, our people! I felt it! He waited for us to be away." Regina ranted.
Her brother knew it was true and he swore to his sister that one day they could get their revenge. Regina trusted her brother with all her heart and she knew he would never lie to her. Her brother was the warrior, he knew power levels. If he said Frieza was too strong, then so be it. But what her brother didn't know was hearts and Regina had felt the heart of Frieza.
Frieza… his heart was cold and empty but she knew what he wanted. He wanted to conquer the universe and to do that he had to get rid of the strong who threatened him… the Saiyains. Vegeta decided he would follow Frieza until the day he would be able to kill the monster who destroyed his people.
A few years passed and Regina grew to be a woman. She was beautiful but not so sweet. She had a temper that could give Vegeta a run for his money. One reason for this was she knew Frieza's heart. She knew Frieza's plan. The twins had been discovered the powers they held when together. They could hear each other's thoughts which helped them in battle. But it wasn't just their thoughts, they could feel each other's pain… everything.
Vegeta began to become suspicious. His sister got overly frightened when around Frieza and Zarbon. Zarbon was another person Regina never liked to be around. She was blind to it when she was a child but now that she was a woman she knew their plans.
Regina finally told her brother when they were on a mission together. "Frieza and Zarbon want me."
Vegeta looked at his sister concerned, she hadn't been wrong, before. "What do you mean want you?"
"I am a woman, just as you are now a man. Frieza thinks that having Saiyain children would increase his army. It would create an one man army. Both of them lust for me." Regina looked as if she would throw up.
Vegeta grew very angry. "Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"
Regina returned her brother's anger. "You know Frieza has cameras and spies all over that ship!"
"You are right. You know he can use you against me. I will find a way to get you away from them. They will not touch you. Radditz is the only man that is allowed to touch you." Vegeta growled but sat down, trying to create a plan.
"Back to Radditz again. I don't like him." Regina sat beside her brother.
"That is unimportant. You must keep the Saiyain blood-line going." Vegeta ordered, getting into their usual argument.
"Geta, our people are dead. I will mate with whomever I choose, now stop trying to put me with that baka." Regina sighed running a hand through her long black hair.
"Alright… what is the tech-dept researching?"
Regina's obsidian eyes lit up. "It's a ship that has a capsule inside where people can go into a coma-like state so no one could sense them."
"Right…" Vegeta smirked. "I could send you away. Remember that planet you visited when you were a child? Alexia…"
"But what about you? What if Frieza finds out?" Regina worried about her brother.
"Look, we need to worry about you." Vegeta said sternly, "I will come get you the moment I destroy Frieza."
"Alright, Geta." Regina knew her brother's heart was set and this was the path he has chosen to take.
Regina and Vegeta returned to Frieza's ship. Frieza greeted Regina with his usual crooked grin which caused Vegeta to growl.
"And what is wrong with our prince, today?" Frieza asked.
"You know Geta. I decided I wanted to kill someone, he wanted to kill, so now he is in one of his moods." Regina answered, getting an approving nod from Frieza.
"Now, prince, you'll have to share with your sister." Frieza scolded him.
Vegeta growled with a glare accompanying it. "Of course."
The twins decided to implement their plan. Regina made her usual runs to the tech department, shamelessly flirting with the one in charge of the new ship. And after a month of planning, it was time.
Late one evening, Vegeta and Regina went into the tech department and into the ship, ready for launch. Vegeta watched his sister as she laid down in the tube. He looked down at his beautiful sister. She reminded him of a story their mother told them about a princess waiting for a prince to kiss her. Her long black hair fanned about her and her brown tail wrapped around her waist.
"I will come for you. I promise, Gina." Vegeta swore to her as he kissed her forehead.
"I know you will, Geta." Regina smiled as she closed her eyes.
Vegeta pressed a combination of keys and the capsule closed and a gas filled the chamber. He watched as her skin turned pale and her breathing slowed. She looked almost dead. Vegeta shook himself out of his mushy thoughts and rushed to the control panel. He set the ship on auto-pilot.
Vegeta watched as the ship drifted away and then he felt a familiar presence.
"You fool."
Vegeta whipped around to see Frieza. "Frieza!"
"You will be punished and for your first punishment…" Frieza tapped the glass and Vegeta turned back around. His eyes widened to an unimaginable size as he saw the ship explode.
"You! You bastard!" Vegeta turned back around, anger burning in his eyes.
"Now, now Vegeta." Frieza laughed maniacally.
"How did you know?" Vegeta asked, the rage consuming him.
Zarbon came out of the shadows with the lead tech guy dead. "He began to grow suspicious of your sister's sudden interest in him."
Vegeta's breathing began to become rough and he choked back the tears. "You…"
"Just go to your room. Unless you would like to die like your sister." Frieza threatened.
Vegeta clenched his fists, "You just wait." Vegeta obeyed but after that moment, he swore to get his revenge. He would avenge his sister. And at the moment he saw the ship explode, he had lost his heart and his soul.
Zarbon dropped the dead tech guy. And Frieza and Zarbon left. If only they had let the tech guy live, he could have told them that the capsule Regina was in was indestructible.
Regina floated in space in that tiny coffin-like capsule. Many years passed, Regina finally made her way to a planet and landed. But only her brother knew the key combination to open her coffin. Only he could save her, but he thought she was dead.
There she was lying in her tomb, waiting for the day her prince would come.
