Heart And Soul of the Saiyain Prince
There once was a prince who was very young and very energetic. He was the prince of a powerful race of warriors, the Saiyains. Prince Vegeta was not alone because he had a twin sister. The only thing he openly cared about was her. They were each total opposites but together they were the perfect warrior. She was his heart and soul while he was her strength and fighting spirit. This is not the story of Prince Vegeta because that has been told. This is the story of his heart and soul, his twin sister, Princess Regina.
Chapter Five:
Regina realized what she was doing and she quickly backed away from Piccolo. Piccolo had a bewildered look on his face.
"Did I not do it correctly?" Piccolo asked reaching his hand out to her.
"Why did we do that just now?" Regina backed away further, not trusting herself with Piccolo.
"I felt you search my heart. I knew you had to know I found you- breathtaking."
Regina turned her back to the Namek. "It is affecting me already. Mating season, I mean."
Piccolo nodded his head, once. "I understand. I should not have made such an error. I guess you will go?"
Regina truly did not trust herself when she was like this. "I must be alone."
"Me, as well." Piccolo started to feel embarrassed and cursed Gohan for making him so weak.
Regina turned and was greeted by Piccolo's violet blush. He was able to conceal his embarrassment in voice but not in body. "I have one question… why? Actually two… why and how?"
Piccolo cleared his throat. "You know I have been following you around for sometime, now." Piccolo turned. "Just go, if you're going."
Regina hated herself. "Piccolo. You deserve better. I still am wondering. Namek's are asexual… so how?"
"The Dragonballs." Piccolo stated simply.
Regina found herself now standing behind the Namek. "What did you wish?"
Piccolo turned around, almost falling when he saw her standing there, so close to him. "To be a man."
"Why?"
"I thought you were leaving!" Piccolo growled.
"Why?" Regina repeated.
"It is none of your business! And just what did you mean by I deserve better!?!"
"I am not good mate material."
"You are the complete opposite of your twin. He thinks he is above everyone and you think you are below everyone. Why do you think so poorly of yourself?" Piccolo took a step back, just so they weren't so close.
"I have murdered and I have destroyed complete civilizations. I had become just like Frieza. I have a short temper and outrageous power I have yet been able to control." Regina hung her head.
"Are you going?" Piccolo snapped.
Regina's head shot up and she glared daggers at the Namek. "Yes. I am." Her anger caused her power to go up.
Piccolo took another couple steps back, just in case. "I will train you when that mating season is over."
"Will you?" Regina's hair glowed gold along with her tail.
Vegeta came flying in like a bat out of hell. "Gina! How could you just run off like that? And with the Namek!"
"I am sorry brother." Her hair returned to black.
Piccolo walked to her and whispered so only she could hear. "Don't ruin Gohan's life on the account of me."
"I've decided I am not going to mate." She turned to Vegeta who folded his arms and glared at Piccolo. "It wasn't him and you know it! Gohan is too young and too pure! I need someone… that could strike me down if need be. You know good and well how I can be!"
"Regina! Not now!" Vegeta snapped. "Why the Namek? Why not me?"
"You wouldn't listen, Geta! I kept telling you but you were so set on me being with Gohan. Piccolo listened and he… can train me to control my anger. I don't need a mate. I will not find one on this pathetic planet."
"But Gina-"
Regina threw her arms up. "See? You see!"
Piccolo finally took this chance to speak. "Vegeta, I suggest you listen to your sister. You are trying to run her life. Let her make her own choices. Don't try to push her into a horrible situation."
"Namek… where do you get off-"
"Geta, please. It is my decision."
"Now, you…" Piccolo began. "You should consider this drastic decision and stop beating yourself up over the past. You are more than you make yourself to be."
Regina shot him a death glare but, Piccolo stood firm. "And just who am I, all-knowing-one?"
"You are a Saiyain. A warrior but one who can reach into ones heart. You have no idea what you can do with that power. You can turn evil to good and even good to evil." Piccolo sat down into a meditative position. "You just have no idea how to harness that power. And from watching you, I see that you and your brother have a powerful connection, mentally, physically and spiritually."
"So the Namek has been spying on us, has he?" Vegeta growled. "I think it's time we just got rid of you."
"No!" Regina shouted, frightening even herself. "I want to learn how to control myself and my power and he is the only one who can do it!"
Vegeta grew very suspicious. "You will not train with Piccolo. And that is that."
"Oh yeah!!!" Regina grew very angry, and all of a sudden she jumped on Piccolo and bit his neck.
"What the hell?" Piccolo pushed her away and felt the puncture marks she made in his neck, his purple blood seeping out.
"Regina! You can't take that back!!! You are bound to an asexual weakling!!!" Vegeta growled.
Regina licked the purple blood on her lips. "You wouldn't dare separate a Saiyain from their mate. Especially a Saiyain that is your equal in power."
"Mate?" Piccolo gulped. What had he gotten himself in to?
"You can't mate with an asexual!!!"
"Piccolo's fully capable of fulfilling me sexually!"
Regina smirked and knelt beside Piccolo. She stroked his bald head affectionately, wagging her tail.
Vegeta just got angrier. "No! I will not accept this! Regina, you can't mate with him!"
Piccolo had so many confused thoughts in his head, like how, what and why. Piccolo quickly pushed Regina away and stood. "What is going on? I will not be in the middle of some sibling quarrel."
"It's too late for that Namek." Vegeta looked at Piccolo with hatred. "I will give him the test."
"No, Geta!" Regina stood in between Piccolo and Vegeta.
"I have the right!" Vegeta folded his arms. "As the crown prince, I have the right to challenge your chosen mate."
"I am the crown princess! You can only challenge if you have interest in me. You are already with mate and you have no interest in me, therefore you have no right to challenge my chosen mate."
Piccolo shirked away to the back of the cave.
"I will not allow to throw away your heritage for just some petty revenge on my part. You don't even love him!"
Regina suddenly snapped. "Who said?"
Vegeta's eyes widened at hearing this, his mind was now open to his sister. He could hear her thoughts and feel her passion. "Why, Gina?"
Piccolo shouted loudly. "Stop this quarrel, right now!!!!"
"I drop the challenge." Vegeta bowed his head and stepped back towards the entrance of the cave.
Vegeta backing down from a challenge? Impossible, Piccolo thought. "Then I challenge it! I will not be bound to you, just because of a fight with your brother!"
"But-" Regina looked back at Piccolo.
"Namek, she would not do something like this just to spite me." Vegeta left as quickly as he came. "You better take care of her."
"Regina!!! Just what the hell do you think you are doing???" Piccolo grabbed her by her shoulders, forcefully.
"I want you to be my mate. You are the only one who can understand me." Regina stood firm, but anyone could tell she was very vulnerable, right now.
Piccolo was confused. "I do not want this. I do not understand you."
"Are you rejecting me?" Regina asked, the anger flaring up in her eyes.
Piccolo growled. "Woman, I do not understand my feelings. I do not understand any of this!"
"Well, then… let me explain it. I care for you. I enjoy your company."
Piccolo folded his arms. "Just leave here. I don't want to be in the middle of your crisis. I am not the solution to all your problems."
"But you are! You showed me the world and you can help me! I have fallen in love with you. I know you feel the same for me!" Regina hugged the Namek.
"You are mistaken. I feel nothing but pity for you." Piccolo pushed her away. "I cannot feel love and I do not feel love. So now leave."
Regina's heart sank. "Alright. If that is what you wish… I'll leave."
Regina left Piccolo and returned to Capsule Corp.
