Author’s notes: I just want to give a big shout out to Matt Hardy, who recently released from WWE. Which I have no problem in saying, that was so unfair. Matt didn’t do anything wrong, it was those little sluts, Edge and Lita. Why shouldn’t Matt have made their affair public, they deserved to be exposed as the unfaithful creeps they are. But it looks like I’m not the only one who thinks so, if ECW’s One Night Stand was anything to go by. This Lita/Edge marriage thing is a load of crap too, and it just proves that WWE will do anything to make money. They don’t care about their superstars at all. So Matt, I really hope you’ll be OK. And if you do go back to WWE, show them they can’t make a fool of you. You’re better than Edge and Lita, never forget that. That’s all I have to say.

How it all began-Part 8

“How much further?” Shouted Krillin.

“Not far now! Just remember, the second we land, I get to make my wish.” Shouted Vegeta, who was still clutching Bulma closely to him.

Tanya’s hands were shaking as she flew with them. The prospect of facing the 3 men that raped her was terrifying to say the least. But she had to, she’d already killed one of the men that allowed it to happen. The Ginyu force was next, and after that, Frieza would pay. “There it is!” Yelled Vegeta, and they began their decent.

As soon as he landed, Vegeta let go of Bulma and ran to where the dragon balls were. “See, they’re right…”

But he stopped as he saw Gohan had un-capsulated the 4 star ball. But Krillin and Gohan made no move to give him either of the dragonballs. “What’s wrong with you!” Yelled Vegeta.

“Did you really think we’d just hand them over to you? We’d rather face the Ginyu as mortals than have to face you as an immortal later.” Said Tanya.

“Are you mad! We have no chance against Frieza unless I’m immortal! Now stop stalling and give me the dragonballs!”

“Or what Vegeta? Bulma’s over here with us, your leverage is shot.”

Vegeta growled. “We’ll find a way to beat them Vegeta, without the help of the dragonballs. There’s no honour in using magic to beat an opponent.” Said Tanya.

“That was very philosophical Tanya.” Said Krillin.

“The point is…we need to encapsulate all the dragonballs and hide them somewhere where the Ginyu Force can’t find them. Then after we defeat them and Frieza, we can make our wishes.”

“Wait! Someone’s coming.” Said Gohan.

“What? Where?” Asked Bulma.

“Bulma, quick, go hide.” Said Krillin.

“Too late.” Hissed Tanya.

Above them, were 5 warriors. They began their decent towards them. “Bulma, go, run for it.” Whispered Tanya.

But Bulma never got the chance. Faster than they could see, Bulma ended up in the grasp of the big blue warrior. “Bulma!” Yelled Gohan.

Bulma had a look of sheer terror on her face. “Well well well, we meet again at last Vegeta. And I see you have exactly what we’re looking for. Hand over the dragonballs Vegeta, and no one gets hurt.” Said the leader, purple horned freak, captain Ginyu.

“Hey captain, I found the other 5 balls.” Said Recoome.

They all snickered. “Well, it must be our lucky day. Frieza said there were 5 dragon balls and it looks like we’ve struck pay dirt.” Laughed Ginyu.

“Not to mention we have a beautiful hostage in tow.” Hissed Burter.

Vegeta growled. “And look what we have here boys. It’s our little playmate, Tanya.” Laughed Ginyu.

“Hey hey, time for a little fun!” Yelled Recoome.

“Just try it and see where it gets you!” Yelled Tanya, getting into fighting stance.

“Now now, Recoome, there’ll be plenty of time for that later. You know she’s weak compared to us.” Said Ginyu.

“Boy are they in for a shock.” Whispered Krillin.

“Alright Vegeta, enough pleasantries. Just hand us the dragonballs and we won’t harm your pretty little companion.” Said Ginyu.

“I’ll believe that when I see it.” Said Vegeta.

“May a propose a trade then. Jeice brings us Bulma and I’ll bring you the dragonballs.” Said Tanya.

“Hmm…no tricks on your part.” Said Ginyu.

“No tricks.”

“Why Jeice?”

“Because out of the 5 of you, he’s the only who didn’t want to rape me. And to me, that’s a sign of strength, not a weakness as you guys put it 3 years ago.”

“Alright then my dear, you have a deal. Jeice, get the woman.”

Burter let go of Bulma and Jeice grabbed her arm. Tanya grabbed the 2 dragonballs from Gohan and started walking over to Jeice before they Vegeta could protest. The other 2 just watched as walked over to Jeice. They met in the middle. Jeice let go of Bulma who ran straight to the others. Tanya handed the Dragonballs to Jeice. “Tanya, I’m glad you’ve seen sense. I don’t want what happened to happen again.” Said Jeice.

“You really think they will?” Asked Tanya.

“Yes, because Frieza has ordered it to happen. If you and Vegeta resist capture, they will hurt you all over again.”

Tanya looked at the Ginyu over Jeice’s shoulder. They were smirking at her. “They think they can do that to me whether I co-operate or not. So tell me Jeice, why should I make it easy for them?” Hissed Tanya.

Before Jeice could stop her, Tanya threw the dragonballs into the air. “Krillin, Gohan, blast em now!” Yelled Tanya.

Krillin and Gohan powered up and got ready to fire…but all of a sudden, the dragonballs ended up in Burter’s and Guldo hands. “NO!” Yelled Vegeta.

“Did you really think that we weren’t prepared for something Tanya? You know that Guldo can stop time and if Burter holds on to him, he can grab the dragon balls before you can do anything to stop him. We know how much you hate us, you’d never let us have the most ultimate power in the universe without a fight. Alas, I thought you’d grown wiser over the last few years, but it seems that you must be taught a lesson once again.” Said Ginyu.

“Yay! We get to have some fun!” Yelled Recoome.

Tanya gritted her teeth and got into fighting stance. “Now Tanya, don’t make this harder than this has to be. Huh? What’s this now?” Said Ginyu.

No one was ore shocked than Tanya when Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan stepped in front of Tanya. “Guys, what are you…” Started Tanya.

“I wasn’t there to stop them last time Tanya, but I won’t let it happen again.” Said Vegeta.

“Get back there and protect Bulma, we’ll handle these goons.” Said Krillin.

“You won’t get away with all the evil you’ve done!” Yelled Gohan.

“Well then, let’s begin then, shall we. Boys, decide what you want to do. I’ll take the dragonballs to Lord Frieza.” Said Ginyu.

The Dragonballs began floating around Ginyu, and he laughed as he flew away with them. “Take this you big hunk a…” Started Gohan.

“No don’t. You’ll just waste your energy and we’ll be in even worse shape to fight them!” Said Vegeta.

“Which is why I’m fighting with you. Bulma’s hiding, she should be OK.” Said Tanya.

“Krillin, come over here.”

Krillin came over to Vegeta and Tanya. “We have to be careful what we’re thinking, ‘cause 4-eyes over there has the power of ESP.” Said Vegeta.

“Got it.” Said Krillin.

“By the way, wasn’t Kakarot supposed to be coming to save everybody?”

“Don’t know about you, but he’s coming to save Gohan and me.”

“I’m not trying to win any popularity contests. I’m just saying we could use a little help right now.”

“Ginyu’s taking the Dragonballs to Frieza, we have to beat these clowns and get there before Frieza has a chance to use them. Battling these guys should raise our power levels greatly, we might have a chance.” Said Tanya.

“Ever the optimist, right Tanya.” Said Vegeta.

“It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it. Looks like Guldo’s going first.”

“Alright boys, looks like it’s time to take them down.”

Krillin and Gohan ran to the front. “Aww, and here I was hoping they’d give up at the last second.” Said Guldo.

“You ready Gohan?” Asked Krillin.

“Yeah!” Shouted Gohan.

They then powered up. “Let’s turn up the heat!!” Yelled Krillin as he and Gohan jumped into the sky.

Vegeta and Tanya watched as they flew up. “What do they have planned?” Asked Tanya.

“I don’t know, just hope it’s something good.” Said Vegeta.

Krillin and Gohan fired 2 almighty blasts at Guldo, but in a flash, the frog faced little goon had disappeared. “Where’d he go?” Asked Gohan.

“Over there!” Yelled Krillin.

They began flying towards Guldo’s hiding place and began fazing in and out of view to confuse him. But again, as they were about to reach him, he vanished. “Damn, we got to catch him before he does that.” Yelled Krillin.

“Krillin, Gohan, behind you!” Yelled Bulma.

But it was too late as Guldo hit them with his mind freeze attack. “NO!” Yelled Bulma.

“Vegeta, we’ve got to help them!” Hissed Tanya.

“Wait, if we go charging in there, those other goons will come and attack us. We have to wait until the last possible moment and get Guldo before they even have time to think.” Said Vegeta.

Guldo laughed evilly. “Well as they say, you lose.” He laughed.

“Well done Guldo, now finish them so we can get Vegeta and Tanya.” Yelled Recoome.

“Yeah yeah, I never get to have any fun.”

He went over to a tree. “Yes, this will do nicely.”

He used his mind powers on the tree and turned it into a giant spear. “Shishcabob anyone?” He laughed.

Bulma watched in horror as Guldo aimed at Krillin and Gohan. “This is the end for you!” Guldo yelled.

“Wanna bet!”

Tanya kicked Guldo in the stomach and Vegeta grabbed his head and twisted it around, until they heard a sickening snap. The tree dropped and Krillin and Gohan were free. “I gotta admit it Vegeta, you were the last person I thought was gonna help.” Said Krillin

“Thanks guys.” Said Gohan.

“No problem Gohan.” Said Tanya.

“Don’t mistake this for anything else you 2. I had my own score from long ago to settle with that little 4 eyed creep.” Hissed Vegeta.

Krillin and Gohan glared at him. “So watch yourself, because next time, you might not be so lucky.”

They heard the other Ginyu land behind them. “You’re going to live to regret this day Vegeta.” Growled Jeice.

“You may have defeated Guldo but you will never defeat the Ginyu Force.” Shouted Recoome.

Then they began to perform their ‘Famous’ poses. “Why do they do that?” Asked Krillin.

“Yeah, don’t they realise they look like a couple of goofballs?” Asked Gohan.

“I think they think that all that posing is intimidating. You know…” Started Tanya, pulling out a dagger from behind her.

“Where did you get that?” Asked Vegeta.

“I’ll tell you later, but right now, there’s always something I wanted to do to these guys while they were posing.”

While Recoome was complaining about getting cramps, Tanya took aim and threw the dagger. It landed right in Recoome’s left butt cheek. “AHHHHHHHH! SOMEONE SHOT ME IN THE ASS!!!” He yelled, grabbing his rear and running around.

“Nice shot Tanya.” Said Vegeta.

“Thank you.” Said Tanya.

Burter grabbed Recoome and held him while Jeice pulled out the dagger. Jeice was trying so hard not to laugh. “It’s not bad Recoome, just a little scratch.” He said, still trying not to laugh.

“Yeah, it’ll heal in no time.” Said Burter.

“What hit me?” Whimpered Recoome.

“Just this dagger Recoome.” Said Jeice, wiping the blood away.

Then he threw it back to Tanya, who caught it with ease. “That little bitch! She threw it!” Yelled Recoome.

“To bad it didn’t hit somewhere that would hurt you more, you big ugly jerk!” Yelled Bulma.

The others turned to her in shock, even Bulma was surprised by her sudden out burst. Vegeta resisted the urge to smile. “Man, that one’s got some fire.” Thought Vegeta.

“Why you little…when I’m through with them, I’m coming for you.” Growled Recoome.

“Not if you can’t beat us!” Said Vegeta.

“I’ll rip you two apart!”

“So, you want a piece of us literally. OK Recoome, come and get it, if you can!” Said Tanya, drawing her daggers.

Recoome yelled and ran at them. “Tanya, buy me some time! I need to gather energy for my new attack!” Said Vegeta.
“With pleasure!” Shouted Tanya, running at Recoome.

Recoome and Tanya met in an almighty flash of power. Recoome threw punches, but Tanya dodged them all and slashed off some of his hair. Recoome tried to grab her but she side stepped him and slashed across the side of his face, drawing a lot of blood from the deep cut. She spun around but was the kicked in the stomach and thrown to the ground. She rolled away from the giant boot about to stamp in her face. Then, Tanya got and idea. She drove her dagger into Recoome’s foot. As he wailed in pain, she ran around and did the same with the other. Recoome tried to grab her but she managed to get out of the way. Recoome was stuck. “Vegeta, now’s your chance! It doesn’t get much better than this!” Shouted Tanya.

“Great work Tanya!” Said Vegeta, preparing to fire his new attack.

He gathered energy into his palms and brought his hands together. “Everyone, get clear!” Yelled Tanya.

Vegeta fired his blast as the others got behind the same rock as Bulma. The blast hit Recoome dead on and caused a massive explosion that had Burter and Jeice screaming and running for cover. Vegeta floated to the ground and tried to catch his breath. Tanya got up, Krillin following her. Gohan tried to calm down Bulma, who was shaking in fear. “Alright Vegeta! That was one hell of a blast!” Shouted Tanya.

“I didn’t think Vegeta was that powerful. Let’s just hope he’s on our side right now.” Whispered Krillin.

Tanya walked over to Vegeta, who looked ready to pass out. “You used too much of your energy Vegeta, that wasn’t a good idea.” Said Tanya.

“I know, but you can handle Burter on your own for a while. It’s not like Jeice is going to stop you from killing him.” Said Vegeta.

“Don’t be so sure about that Vegeta. You know where his loyalties lie, and they outweigh the loyalty to his heart.”

“You make it sound as if he has one.”

But they stopped when they saw the dust clear. Recoome was striking his favourite pose, no matter how gay he looked. “Hi Guys.” He said cockily.

Krillin and Gohan stared up in fear. “That monster’s still alive!?!” Yelled Krillin.

“But how, Vegeta hit him with everything he had!” Shouted Gohan.

Tanya and Vegeta stared in horror as Recoome stretched out his muscles. “Now, it’s my turn guys.” Said Recoome.

Jeice and Burter were still recovering from Vegeta’s blast. “Oh man, this is just great. Do you know how long it’ll take to wash all this dust out of my hair?” Complained Jeice.

“Complain all you want, at least you got hair!” Said Burter.

Recoome lent down and pulled Tanya’s daggers out from his feet. “Quite the little plan. Make sure I can’t move and hit me with everything you got. Too bad it didn’t work, right you 2.” Gloated Recoome.

“What now Vegeta? You’re out of power and my weapons are in enemy hands.” Said Tanya, tightening her hold on Vegeta’s shoulder.

“What’s the matter with you? You don’t need those weapons! You’re a great fighter without them! What made you think you needed them in the first place?” Hissed Vegeta.

“Vegeta, I can’t fight him hand to hand. If I make one mistake and he grabs me, I’m done for and he’ll…”

Vegeta understood at least. “You’re scared he’ll hurt you again, that’s why your so dependant on those daggers.” Said Vegeta.

“Well, that was very helpful Vegeta.” Said Recoome, twirling the dagger in his fingers.

Vegeta stood in front of Tanya protectively. “Well, if you need them so much Tanya, here, CATCH!”

Recoome threw both the daggers at Vegeta. Tanya jumped in front of him, and caught one dagger. But the other went straight into her stomach. She fell into Vegeta and they flew back about 3 feet. “Tanya!” Yelled Gohan.

Vegeta got up and was about to check on her when Recoome grabbed him and flew up into the air with him. “HOW ABOUT A SWIM VEGETA?!” Yelled Recoome.

Recoome threw Vegeta into the water head first and then he landed on the shore. “Well, it looks like that’s it for Vegeta.” Said Jeice.

Tanya raised her head to look up at Recoome, as he began walking over to her. “Well Tanya, looks like your all by yourself again.” Gloated Recoome.

Tanya snarled and tried to get to her feet again. “I just knew it was meant to be, you being with me again. Too bad you insist on fighting me all the way.” Said Recoome.

“Man, your more deluded than I thought if you think some sort of ladies man.” Hissed Tanya, finally pushing herself to her feet.

But was immediately grabbed by her throat as Recoome took offence to her comment. “You need to learn your place Tanya. Vegeta’s not here to protect you, there’s nothing stopping me from having you again.” Hissed Recoome.

“Wrong Recoome, for 2 reasons. 1, I’ve barely begun to fight…and 2, never underestimate the Saiyan Prince!” Said Tanya, looking Recoome directly in the eyes.

It was then Vegeta shot out from the water and straight into Recoome’s gut. He flew into the air, taking Recoome with him. Vegeta punched him in his stomach, repeatedly knocking the breath out of him. But to Vegeta’s horror, Recoome quickly recovered and grabbed him by the waist. Recoome began flying towards the ground at break neck speed, sheer horror etched on to Vegeta’s face as Recoome drove him face first into the ground. Bulma and the others could only watch as Recoome landed and pulled Vegeta’s barely twitching body from the ground. “I just love picking vegetables from my garden.” Laughed Recoome.

But he was immediately shut up as Vegeta summoned all his remaining energy to blast Recoome right in his ugly face. Recoome fell back, his head smoking, while Vegeta fell into the little crater that was created from his crash landing. “Wow, Vegeta nailed him with all the power he had left.” Exclaimed Krillin.

“He did it, but does he have anything left to take the other 2.” Asked Gohan.

But then, as Vegeta was struggling to get to his feet and catch his breath, Bulma let out a huge scream. The others turned towards the source of her alarm and nearly screamed themselves. Recoome was up and grinning evilly. “Well, that was quite the little trick Vegeta. But now I think it’s time to turn out your lights and say goodnight, don’t you agree?” He said smugly.

Vegeta didn’t now what else to do. “This guy’s unreal, I don’t have any energy to even defend myself. If only I could summon the strength to defeat this overgrown android. Because if I could, they’d need tweezers to pick up the pieces!” Vegeta thought angrily.

Tanya watched as Recoome began powering up. Krillin and Gohan rushed to her side. “We have to do something guys.” Said Gohan.

“Yeah, I don’t like it but it looks like we’ll have to help Vegeta out.” Said Krillin.

“What do you guys have planned?” Asked Tanya.

“Just leave it to us. It’s our turn to fight that maniac!”

Recoome opened his mouth to fire his beam at Vegeta. He let lose and Vegeta tried to move. But then, Krillin hit Recoome in the back of his head, effectively shutting his big mouth and stopping the beam. And Gohan weaved around the beam and grabbed Vegeta, landing next to Tanya, who covered their bodies with her own. Somewhere in the distance as the beam hit a near by mountain, Tanya and Vegeta felt a powerful energy force land on the planet. The took a while to clear. Tanya got up and so did Gohan. “No way Recoome will be recovering from that. He swallowed his own power.” Said Tanya.

She turned to Gohan. “Great work kid, your master trained you well.” She said, causing Gohan to blush.

“Thanks Tanya.” He said.

“No problem, you OK out there Krillin?”

“Yeah, but that was too close. Look at what he did to the mountain.” Said Krillin.

Tanya and Gohan looked at where the mountain was…or rather where it used to be. All that was left was the dust from Recoome’s blast. “Wow.” Said Gohan.

Tanya looked at Vegeta. “Hey, you OK?” She asked as she helped him stand.

“No! Why did you 2 fools do that! Couldn’t you see that I was about to make my move? Thanks to the 2 of you, I’m in worse shape than I was a minute ago.” Growled Vegeta.

“Oh right Vegeta. You couldn’t move and he was picking you apart, yeah, you had him.” Said Tanya.

They heard Krillin gasp. They turned towards Recoome and nearly fell over in shock. Recoome was getting up, and complaining about his new dentures. He turned to Krillin, a sick smile on his still smoking face. He turned towards his comrades. “Hey Burter, Jeice. Do you want me to take care of these 2 earthlings too?” He shouted over.

Before Jeice could answer, Burter shouted, “Sure, but remember, Lord Frieza wants them all alive, so don’t rough them up too much!”

Recoome looked back at Krillin. “Well, it looks like I get to have more fun.” Said Recoome.

Then, he disappeared and reappeared in front of Krillin, giving him and almighty kick and sending him skidding across the ground. “Krillin, no!” Yelled Gohan.

“No Gohan, watch out!” Yelled Tanya.

Recoome appeared in front of Gohan. He punched him in the face and Gohan ended up right next to Krillin. “You 2 are nothing but bugs. Why Lord Frieza even needs you is beyond me.” Said Recoome.

But he stopped as Tanya phased in front of Krillin and Gohan and stabbed him in his shoulder with her dagger. But she felt dizzy and fell to her knees. The wound in her stomach was still bleeding, she’d had no time to patch it up. Recoome staggered back, grabbing the new wound. “You little bitch! That’s 4 times you’ve stabbed me! You know what? I’ve had it!” He said angrily.

He grabbed Tanya by her throat and lifted her up again. “Any last words?” Asked Recoome as he prepared to blast her.

Tanya retorted by spitting in his face. “Go to hell Recoome, and take Burter and Ginyu with you!” She hissed.

Recoome screamed and fired the blast. But then, he felt a searing pain in his hand. He hadn’t hit Tanya, he’d hit his hand. Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan looked into the sky. Vegeta’s eyes widened, and Krillin and Gohan began grinning like idiots. “It’s him!” Yelled Gohan.

The Ginyu Force looked into the sky and saw something utterly shocking. Tanya was in the arms of a tall black haired stranger, wearing an orange gi. “Daddy!” Yelled Gohan.

“Goku!” Yelled Krillin.

“Kakarot!” Hissed Vegeta.

“Goku! Is she OK?” Asked Bulma.

Goku began making his decent to the ground. He landed on his feet. Tanya began to open her eyes, and looked into the face of the man who rescued her. “Bardock?” She whispered weakly.

He turned to face her. “No. My name is Goku.” He said.

“Your Gohan’s father?” She asked.

But before he could answer her, Tanya fell into the blissful realm of unconsciousness.

Next Time: Now that Goku has finally arrived, the Z fighters finally have chance to win. But is he strong enough to beat Recoome after he made short work of Vegeta, Tanya, Krillin and Gohan.

Author’s note: Hey guys, first off, thank you to all the people who have read this story so far. It's really nice to know that some people like my work. Now, on to business. If any of you have read my story, ‘How it all Began’, you should know about my character, Tanya. I’m writing an interlude that’s just for her, and for the man she meets. But I’m having trouble deciding who it should be. I’ve finally narrowed it down to 2 characters. Dante from Devil May Cry, and Jin from Tekken. So you see my dilemma. 2 characters that would make a great addition to the Dragonball Z team. But as I’ve said, I’m having trouble deciding. So, I need you, the readers to help me decide. Who’s it to be guys, Dante or Jin. Please e-mail me with your choice, and after a week, I’ll announce the which one it will be with my next fiction update. Please guys, help me out.
