Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Hybrid ❯ Preface ( Chapter -1 )

Disclaimer: Y'all know the drill. I don't own any of these characters, because if I did, I sure as shit wouldn't be typing this shit up on the computer.

 

Housekeeping: This story will focus largely on my created character, Isamu. If you don't like that, turn away now. If it doesn't bother you, keep reading.

 

- I'll try and handle this Mary Sue deal as tastefully as possible. I'm not out to make a cookie cutter character here, so if I'm going in that direction, please let me know. Use the comment section, people; I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

- I'm going to extend the parameters of the characters' powers here; speed, strength, etc. all of that's going to be increased. So, far example, while Gotenks was only able to fly around the earth nine times in about 30 seconds in the manga, he'd be able to do it at least twice as many times in the same time period. One thing, though: I'm not changing the character powers relative to each other, so while each individual is stronger than normal, Vegeta isn't stronger than Gohan, for example. Thus, what I'm doing really doesn't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things.

 

- I will try to make this story as painfully detailed as possible, not because I'm deliberately trying to be anal, but because I want this to be a fully fleshed out story with equally fleshed out characters. The focus during the first half of this story is going to be Isamu, so as to fully explain his origins. The regular DBZ cast will appear in some capacity, though I'm debating whether or not to put them in this story or another that's in the same timeline/story continuity. This is my first story, but I'm not one for doing things half-assed.
