“How about you, Homeboy?”
Author's Note: So… This is the first fanfic I have ever attempted to make nearly accurate of the anime. Please bear with me! All of the facts are accurate in this story within the Dragon Ball realm. I am trying to make a fic where the famous 3 years is really truthful to the anime story. I am making it a little bit more romantic than it really would be, but that just adds to the juicyness of it!
Disclaimer: I don't own DB/Z/GT, blah blah blah, please don't sue me.

The blue-eyed brainiac stood there, sighing in tremendous defeat. Standing in the midst of hundreds of green men, and a few humans, Bulma has just found out a life-changing fact. She just realized that her best friend of 15 years was dead, and she couldn't wish him back. Her sad countenance troubled the others, who had just heard her minutes ago; say that they could simply wish Goku back to life with the Namekian Dragon. However, only moments after Bulma speaking those words, King Kai interrupted her thoughts with terrible news.
“When the Dragon restores someone life, he brings them back to the place where they died. Namek's gone so Goku and Krillin would be brought back to life in the middle of nowhere,” Those few sentences made Bulma begin to cry. Gohan's short figure stepped toward her, concerned. “Bulma, what's wrong?”
“King Kai, he said, that Goku can't come back, and if we wished him back, he would go back to the planet Namek, but the planet Namek is gone!” The Blue-haired beauty fell to her knees.
This had spurred something inside Vegeta, who had been silent for most of the time they had returned to Earth. He began to chuckle to himself, and then laugh audibly louder and louder. Bulma glared at the arrogant saiyan, daring him to say something about her best friend. Her eyes narrowed as he stood up.
“I told you didn't I? My prophecy came true after all, now I'm number 1! So, get used to it,” Vegeta looked over to Gohan, a saiyan smirk sitting on his face. “It sure was nice of your dad to get rid of Frieza for me, what a guy, he served his purpose,” The sarcasm Vegeta held in his voice made Gohan seethe.
“Jerk! You're nothing compared to him! He spared your life twice!” The half-saiyan yelled at him. “Well he shouldn't have been so soft, should he? Now what should I do with Kakarott's son? Destroy him now so he doesn't destroy me someday?” Vegeta paused, pondering. “Don't sweat it kiddo, you're the last saiyan besides me. That makes you a very important young man; we're the last survivors of an ancient race. Besides, I need someone like you to stand by my side, polish my boots and call me Lord Vegeta!”
“My dad will be back, you watch!” Gohan countered, his blood boiling at Vegeta's wickedness. “Your dad is history!”
This spurred the young half-saiyan and the Prince of all Saiyans into a fighting match. Bulma sat there in awe, knowing that this was the product of Goku being gone. Perhaps everything is going to fall apart, since Goku can't come back.. Bulma's thoughts were getting the best of her, and she shook them off. The fight was escalating as Vegeta began to severely hurt Gohan, and no one was moving except for them. Gohan was more focused on the fact that his dad was gone forever, and perhaps that fact was motivating Vegeta more than the fact that Goku was gone. Vegeta scoffed at him as he fell to the ground, and Piccolo stopped them from continuing the match.
“Please father, come home. I know you're still out there somewhere. You have to be, I need you dad,” Gohan was murmuring to himself, and Vegeta scoffed at this. “A tough guy like you should be able to face the truth!” With those words, Vegeta took off. Gohan slowly stood up, dusting himself off and watching Vegeta fly off.
Off at the edge of the forest, Bulma was looking to the sky, strands of blue hair falling in front of her face from the light wind. She couldn't believe it. “GOKU!!!” She screamed, falling to her knees once again.

It had been a while with all of them sitting there, thinking of a way to get Goku back to Earth. Vegeta had even come back, silent as he was when they had first returned. Bulma was explaining to Gohan in a more detailed way why they couldn't simply wish Goku and Krillin back to life, when Vegeta interrupted them.
“Fools! Enough of this ridiculous babble! You want Kakarrott back, so look. The earth has a check-in station to the spirit realm. So wish him there, and then wish him back to life!” Bulma was stunned, even she hadn't thought of that. Everyone agreed that was an excellent plan to bring Krillin and Goku back to life. Vegeta rolled his eyes, he had only suggested it because he wanted to find out the secret to being a Super Saiyan. Bunch of softies…
“Excuse me Miss Bulma we have a request we'd like to make,” The leader of the Nameks spoke up to Bulma, walking over to her. “We planned to use our Dragon Balls to relocate to another planet, but finding a suitable home is going to take time. Do you know of a place where we can stay temporarily, until we can make other arrangements?” Bulma only thought for a few seconds. “Hey! I know! How about you guys stay with me!” The Nameks began to protest, but Bulma cut them off. “Aww, hey it's the least I can do for you all. My dad's compound is huge there will be enough room for everyone, besides it's not like you guys have a lot of options. Green men from space aren't a common sight around here,”
“I see what you mean,” The leader spoke, “We accept,” Bulma then turned to Vegeta, “What about you, homeboy!” Vegeta was confused with the word she called him. Bulma simply took his silence as a `Yes' and went off to call her father to come pick them all up.

It had been 130 days since the Nameks had arrived on Earth. The Nameks had learned about golf and poker, Gohan had nearly finished all the homework that he had missed while on Namek-thanks to Chichi, Bulma had made some improvements to the spaceship, and Vegeta had been incessantly training. The blue bombshell had noticed that her mother had taken a real liking to Vegeta, though she couldn't understand. Bulma found the Saiyan Prince incredibly irritating. It was now time to summon the Namekian Dragon to wish everyone back. The crowd from 130 days ago was gathered once more, on the Capsule Corp's grounds this time.
“Gosh are you guys ever lucky, our Dragon Balls take a whole year to regenerate,” Dende laughed, “Ours do too, we just have a much shorter year than you do,” And they summoned Porunga. All of a sudden, the entirety of West City's sky became black, and the large, muscled Dragon appeared in the sky, and his red eyes flashed at Dende. Surely, the city was in chaos, and Bulma chuckled at the idea of GODZILLA! being screamed in the city streets of West City.
“You have summoned me; I will now grant you three wishes. Now proceed with your three wishes,” The Nameks Leader gestured for Bulma to go ahead and use the wishes, “Go ahead my friends, we can wait another 130 days to start our new life,” The Blue Beauty smiled and nodded, “Let's do it then! Please bring Krillin and Goku to Earth's Check-in station in the spirit realm,” The dragon's eyes glowed bright.
“The one you call Krillin is at Earth's Check-in station, but the one you call Goku cannot be brought to that place,” The crowd shifted with confusion. Bulma tilted her head, “What? What's up? Why not?” The Dragon looked at her, “Because he is alive, if I brought him there now, he would die,” The crowd began to talk amongst themselves in wonder. Goku is alive? Then why hasn't he returned to Earth yet?
The Leader of the Nameks jolted her from her thoughts.
“My friends! Look, if he is alive, why don't you just wish him back here?” Bulma and Gohan smiled, “Yeah! That's a great idea! Now for the next wish, let's bring Krillin back to life!” And there Krillin was. He was in complete form, even his Cold Army space-armor was in impeccable shape. He looked around confused, but then saw all his friends in front of him, cheering. “What? How? Hey, wait a minute, I'm back alive!” However, the dragon was impatient.
“Hey, human people, let's get on with the last wish,” Bulma winked at him, “O.K. Let's bring Goku back to earth!” Everyone was excited from Krillin being back on Earth, they were fidgeting around, waiting for Earth's Hero to come back. Bulma stood there, wide-eyed as the Dragon was silent. Something is wrong…
“It can't be done. The one you call Goku refuses to return and says he'll come back later,” The crowd went silent. “What?!” Gohan exclaimed. Everyone was confused, but the commotion was stopped when everyone watched the Space Ship Capsule 3 take off. Vegeta was nowhere to be found, much to Bulma's dismay. It heated her to the core that Vegeta just thought he could take whatever he wanted because Goku wasn't there.
Now there was a dilemma, who should they wish back? They let those on King Kai's planet decide, and they picked Yamcha to be brought back to life. The dragon glowed once more, before saying, “It is done, Your wish has been granted,” And all at once he was gone.
“No wait!” Bulma called out as the dragon balls left to go to the ends of the Earth. “Aw man, the dragon short-changed us,” She spoke softly to herself, pushing her hair back behind her ear. A husky voice called out, “No he didn't, I'm over here,” Yamcha's charming face and hair was wet, he had been summoned back to life and ended up in the pond. Puar was ecstatic and ran over to him, hugging him.
A heat, the good kind, went to Bulma's face, flushing her cheeks. Yamcha? She thought to herself, he looked a lot stronger and even more handsome than before. “Hey, wow! You're looking better than ever Bulma, I missed you a lot,”
130 days later, the same thing happened again. Tien and Chaoztu were brought back, and the Nameks finally left Earth for their new home.

Ending note: DUDE! This took a lot longer than I thought it would take. Also, I need someone to beta-read my chapters before I put them out. Someone who can give me ideas on what to elaborate on, on what is confusing to them and someone who can catch little spelling errors, that's who I need. Also, if anyone is curious about the title of the fic, I kinda want to keep it a surprise, it'll be revealed later. Next chapter, I will start 3 months after Future Trunks showed up. I just wanted to see how accurate I can make this thing! Review please!
