Hello peeps! Well her is the next chapter in my story. Hope you all like it. Don't forget to R&R please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Standard disclaimer applies I don't own any part of the DBZ universe.
There are really no warnings for this chapter, some attempted humor.
Prince Vegeta was busy training. He was obsessed with getting stronger so that he could defeat his father in the duel for the crown. However, he seemed rather distracted, he couldn't get the blue haired vixen out of his mind. He smirked, remembering the way she smashed the jaw of the pathetic royal guard Yamcha.
Suddenly a ki blast hit him square in the chest making him stagger. His head snapped up in surprise and anger to glare at his sparring partner. The young guard fell to his knees, awaiting his inevitable death, cowering in fear.
Vegeta sneered in disgust, walking over to the kneeling guard. Vegeta started to build a ki ball to blast the insolent guard to oblivion. Then he thought better of it, letting his body reabsorb the ki ball. Instead Vegeta brought back his foot and kicking the guard in the ribs, breaking three and sending him careening towards a low wall, hitting his head and rendering him unconscious.
"You're not good enough to earn death!" Vegeta spat at him. The Prince then turned to the remaining soldiers lined up to be that day's sparring partners. Some he recognized from just the day before, thanks to the rejuvenation tank, their injuries were all healed.
Then an evil smirk crossed the Prince's features, "There is one person I wouldn't mind sparring with…but it wouldn't be in the training yard." Vegeta felt his body stir at the thought of the woman Yamcha had taken out the other night. He growled in frustration clamping down his iron will on his betraying body.
"Pathetic!" A snide voice stated behind the Prince. Vegeta whirled around to glare at the sneering face of his father.
"I would have expected better from you, brat. I wouldn't let any of these useless baka's live." Crossing his arms over his chest, the king sauntered over to his son, "You are weak boy! You will never be able to beat me!" Vegeta didn't rise to his father's remarks; he just raised his eyebrow and mockingly imitated his father's stance.
The king didn't like it, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He didn't let it show; instead, he said something he thought would enrage his son.
"By the way brat, how is the search for a mate going?" his question didn't get the reaction he had hoped for. His son smirked at him, "Very well old man, very well indeed." His reply enraged the King and he turned on his heel storming away. Vegeta's smirk almost reached a smile, genuine amusement reflecting in his eyes. He loved baiting his old man.
Vegeta then remembered something from one of the bios. He believed it was Bulma's bio, her mother was one of the head scientists in the Royal Science Department. It was amazing that a third-class citizen had risen so high in the hierarchy. Vegeta remembered that it had said she had developed a machine of artificial gravity, a machine that could exceed Vejiitasei's gravity 250 times. It was just what he needed to raise his strength drastically.
Vegeta headed back to his chambers. He smirked at the audible sighs of the still conscious soldiers as he quit the training grounds. In his chambers, Vegeta snatched up the list of bios. He found Bulma's name and reviewed the information once again.

"Now to find a way to get what I want…" he spoke, setting the report down in front of him. A smile flitted across his face as he rubbed his hands together in anticipation.

Sweat dripped off her body, making her spandex body suit mold closer to her trim body. Bulma was training at 25 times the gravity of Vejiitasei, she knew she could go higher but she chose not to. She wanted to remain slim and not have muscles distorting her body. She couldn't live like most of the females on her planet, muscles bulging out everywhere like the males it was absolutely disgusting.
`Besides,' she thought, `what better way to conceal your power level? People just assume if you have a smaller body that you are weak.' She grunted at that thought, `Little do they know…'
Suddenly the level of gravity dropped, sending her towards the ceiling of the gravity chamber. Bulma gasped then cursed when her head slammed against the cold metal. She slowly floated down; glaring at the door, waiting to blast the first person that stepped through the door. She began building a ki blast, when the door opened, Radditz stood there for a moment before throwing himself to the floor shouting, "HEY! HEY! Don't kill the messenger!"
"Ok, Talk!" Bulma snapped, relaxing her stance at the sight of her brother.
"Father wanted to speak with you," he said as a ki blast came at him. He tried to duck it but the ki blast skimmed his tail singeing some of the fur on it.
"What did you do that for Bulma?!" he screamed, glaring at her from his ducking position on the floor.
"Because I could," she stated, smirking at her brother as she stepped over him and walked back to the house.
"You can be such a bitch sometimes, you know that?" he sneered at her, lifting himself off the ground.
"Thank you Radditz!' she replied sweetly, knowing it would piss him off even more. He hasn't figured out that his insults are not going to affect her as he hoped they would. Bulma then put on a blank face as she opened the door to the house. She had forgiven her father; she just didn't want him to know it yet.
Both her parents were sitting at the newly repaired kitchen table. Her mother couldn't sit still and he father could have been made of stone.
"You wanted to speak with me father?" she asked, her face hard and her voice cold. On the inside, she was laughing as she saw her father stiffen even more.
"Yes I did. The Prince has requested all of the information from the old Gravitational Science Operations. He wants your mother to build another gravity chamber to enhance his training regimen. The only drawback is that your mother has been away from it for so long that it would take twice as long for her to build it," he paused for a deep breath and then continued, "So, you have to be the one to go and build the machine. We figure since you have been fixing and modifying the prototype that you would be more suited for this job." Bardock then held his breath, waiting for an explosion from his emotionally volatile daughter, but it never came.
Bulma smiled sweetly, answering, "Sure Father, sounds like fun." She practically skipped out of the room to take a shower, her father gaping after her.
Bulma's mother looked to her mate smugly and said, "See, I told you so." She then got up from the kitchen table and walked out to the living room, leaving a flabbergasted Bardock behind.
Well that's it for now, again please don't forget to read and review!
Later ^_~.
