As the spaceship cruised through space on auto pilot Goten decided to look around. Like almost evey other spaceship Bulma had built this one also came equipt with a gravity room. Goten was tempted to go in, but he decided to finish his self tour first. Goten mindlessly ambled into the living area. The living area consisted of a large tan leather couch. A single bed lined the wall and it was covered with clean crisp white sheets. In the kitchen portion there was only a cuboard and a michrowave. The inside of the cupboard was stuffed with food capsules. Goten ran his hand over the armor and sword he had set there. The sword was made from Katchin that much he could tell, and it was heavy even to him. Goten frowned at the though of the spandex jumpsuit that was meant to be woren under the armor. He had never woren a saiyan jumpsuit before, and that armor just looked uncomfortable. Goten walked back into the piloting room. He ran his fingers over the console next to the steering console. He sat in the chair that was attached to it and pressed the botton labeled "power". He imagined it was labeled for a saiyans convience. The image of Vegeta trying to turn the console on by pounding on it popped into his head. Goten chuckled at the notion. So wrapped up in his thoughts Goten didn't notice that a screen had been projected on the wall in front of the console. The projection had a planet and a few facts about it and the species on it. Goten flipped through the projected documents, he noticed that there was only a handful of planets on there. In his head Goten made a mental note of the planets he wanted to avoid. When Goten was throughly satisfied that there was nothing of interest left to see he headed towards the gravity room. Inside he played with the keypad ontil he found his maximum level of wieght he could handle, 300X. He forced his hunched over form up striaght and transformed Super Saiyan. Out of curiousuty he stepped to the keypad next to the gravity controls. this on had a small sreen with it. Another convient label that had been left read: "hologram trianing opponents." Goten flipped through the fighters he found his father's the most appealing. He passed it up he refused to admit that he was on this journey because of somekind of filial rebellion. Somewhere deep in his mind he knew that was the real reason, he was jealous of Goku and wanted to be stronger. Goten choose Nappa instead, he walked into the center of the room and watched at Nappa materialized before him. Goten attacked the hologram mercelisly. He kept attacking for hours, each time trying to predict when the dummy would dodge. After about 7 hours his muscles began to pulsate with pain. He threw a half hearted punch at the dummy. When it didn't connect he fell on the ground, and Goten lost the energy to keep Super Saiyan. As a safty pecaution the gravity room shut off. The room was off but it still felt like he was under gravity. Goten stummbled out of the room and crawled into the soft bed. The next day he awoke with renewed strength. After his morning ritual he checked his coordinates. he was disappointed that he was still in the known universe, but overjoyed that he could spend another day in the gravity room. So this routine continued on for days.

Veget sat on the couch in the living room of his home. It had been days Goten had left had left. Trunks seemed to be the only one who missed him, but at least he fueled his loneliness into trianing in the gravity room. That made Vegeta proud and happy, though it would've made him happier if he hadn't locked him out. This left Vegeta sitting in his house bored, but that was not the only reason he sat there. As if on cue Goku materilzed in the living room.
"Hi Vegeta" Goku greeted the older man cheerfully.
"Kakkarot" Vegeta scoffed in recognition as he folded his arms over his chest.
"Hey, is Goten over here?" Goku looked around the room as if he expected to see him. "Chichi called his home phone but there was no answer."
"He was here but he left." They both starred at each other in scilence.
"Did he say where he was going?" Goku asked tapping his foot impatiently.
"Yes."
"Are you going to tell me?" By this time he was getting increasingly worried about his youngest son.
"No." Vegeta smirked.
"Why not!" Goku excliamed
"He told me not to. He left the planet. So live with." Vegeta said leaning back into the soft material of the couch.
"Well i'll just go ask him why." Goku put two fingers to his forehead.
"Don't do it. He needs to what he was truely born to be." Vegeta grunted as he lifted his himself for the butt trapping material of the couch. "Plus I promised to keep you on this planet. I never go back on a promise." Vegeta stepped foreward and put his hand to Goku's chest. Goku could feel the warmth of ki on his chest.
"I won't let one of my sons get hurt, but I will give him time." Goku's tone was harsh, but understanding none-the-less. Goku disappeared from the living room.
Vegeta scoffed and went to see if the gravity room was open yet.
