Isn’t it Ironic?
Chapter 2

A/N: Hi everyone! Sorry it took so long for me to update.... I've been busy. I just graduated High School! Yay! n.n Anyways, here's the next chapter. It's a little longer than the last one. Enjoy!

I walk through the woods in back of my house, as my mind wanders through the darkness.
'Why did that look he gave me bother me so much? ...I mean, it's not the first time he's looked at me with hatred in his eyes...'
I lean back against a large oak and look up into the night sky. The stars twinkle and the full moon shines brightly behind the branches of a nearby tree.
"Vegeta.... Why must you hold on to that old grudge? I..." I look down at the ground in front of my feet. "...I may be physically stronger.... But, you're a better and stronger man than I'll ever be... You're a much better father... Both of my son's have lived most of their lives without me."
I sigh and look back up at the sky. "Who am I kidding? I'll never admit that to him..."
"To who, 'tousan?"
I jump a good ten feet, startled by the sudden noise, and... hit my head on the branch above me.
"Guh... Kuso..." I sit on the ground under the tree, rubbing the egg on my head, while the voice of a little boy giggles behind me.
"Hee hee... Sorry, Otousan." Goten walks over and stands in front of me, imitating my trademark grin.
"Oi... That smarts... What're you doing out here, Goten? Shouldn't you be in bed?"
" Hai... but I felt your ki out here and I couldn't sleep.... soo (not a typo), I decided to see what you were doing out here.... Who are you talkin' to out here? And who were you talkin' about?"
I shake my head. "Nobody, Goten. I was talking to myself."
"You come out here a lot.... Why is that, 'tousan?"
"Got a lot on my mind... Goin' out here helps me think."
"Oh.... Can Trunks come over tomarrow?"
I sweatdrop. "...Ask your mother."

*****

I toss a rock out into the pond; it skips a couple of time, causing the mirror-like surface to ripple. The sun reflects brightly off the water's surface as it stills, and I turn my back on it to look up at a big fluffy cloud (and to save my eyes >.<).
"Goku-sa! GOKU-SA!! Where are you?! Get inside!"
I sigh as I hear my wife's voice echo through the woods. A large flock of bird takes off from a nearby tree, startled by the noise. I chuckle to myself as I take off to the air, "I'm surprised I can still hear, with all the yelling she does..."
As I land in front of the house, Chi-chi walks out the door with an empty container in her hands.
"There you are. Could you do me a favor, Goku-sa? Could you take these over to Bulma? She left it here yesterday and she wants that recipe for those rice balls I made the other day."
"Uh... Where's the recipe?"
"Inside the container. I put it there so you wouldn't lose it."
"Oh. Okay, I'll be off then."
"Hai, don't be too long."
I nod and turn my back to her, "KINTO'UN!!"
'Sure I can just IT there, but what's the fun is that? ...Besides, I haven't rode Kinto'un in ages.'
The fluffy yellow cloud stops in front of me, and I hop on. "I might be a bit, hun. I think I'm going to train with Vegeta for a while."
She sighs, knowing there's nothing she can say to change my mind, and me and Kinto'un take off towards Capsule Corp.
It feels great to be flying like this again; the wind in my hair... Maybe I'll try and get Vegeta to ride.... wait, I forgot, you have to be pure of heart ... Veggie'd fall right through it... Oh well.

*****

As I near West City, the scent of the air changes and becomes thicker. 'I don't know how Vegeta can stand it here,' I think, my eyes water.... I'm used to the crisp air of mount Paozu. The Saiya-jin's senses, especially that of smell, are extra sensitive. I was told by Vegeta that our sense of smell is as sensitive, if not more so, as a bloodhounds. ...Heh, I'm surprised he knows what a blood hound is... (A/N: I'm surprised Goku knows what a blood hound is...)
I float over Capsule Corp., looking it over, then I jump off Kinto'un, landing in front of the door. I reach for the knob but I remember what Chi-chi told me about just walking into other people's houses. I knock.
"Hello?"
A purple haired youth opens the door. "Hey, Goku-san."
"Hiya, Trunks-chan! Where's your mom?"
"In her lab... She said not to go down there, though."
"Oh. It's okay. Could you put this in the kitchen for me? I wanna go talk to your Otousan. Is he in the GR?"
Trunks nods as he takes the bowl. "Hai, he's been in there for a while."
"Thanks, Trunks." I ruffle his hair, then head though the hall to the GR.
Just as I reach the door, it slides open and I jump back, startled. Vegeta steps out and looks at me.
"I thought I felt your ki."
I stand there, a dumb look on my face as I look him over. Sweat is dripping down his naked chest, running along the contours of his muscles and through old battle scars. The scent of his sweat finds its way to my nose and I feel a familiar tightening in my pants.
'What the fuck?' I think, my cheeks reddening.
"What? ...What's your problem?"
"Uh... Um, nothing. Y-you surprised me... heh."
"Feh... Baka. What do you want?" Same old Vegeta, straight to the point.
"Well... I was wondering if you, uh, wanted to spar."
"Hn. Whatever." He turns around to walk back in the GR, and I find myself staring at his ass, his spandex not leaving much to the imagination.
Shaking my head, I follow him in.

*****

"Rah!" He screams in frustration as I block the punch he sends at me with his right hand. He sends me another with his left; which I also catch, and he grits his teeth as we grapple. Sweat drips down my brow and travels down my nose as he growls in concentration. We both stand there like this for a few seconds in a stalemate.
I look into his eyes, which are gleaming with determination. He looks back up into mine and I feel my face heating up. He raises an eyebrow at me and lets go of my hands, jumping back. I feel his Ki begin to rise and he knits his brow in concentration.
'...What's he doing?'
"Heh heh heh.... I wonder, Kakarotto, do you think you can handle this?" He clenches his fists at his sides and sparks shoot out from his hands, when surround his whole body.
I smirk and put my hands cupped at my side, charging up for my infamous attack. "Ka... me..."
Vegeta just smirks as he continues to gather more power for this new attack.
"Ha..... me..." The orb between my hands doubles, triples in size.
Vegeta puts his right hand in front of him and moves all the energy he gathered into it. It sparks and crackles as he grins at me. "Touzoku Sen!"
"Ha!!" I push my hands forward, a blue beam of ki shooting from my palms. My ki collides with the crackling white beam, exploding in a blinding white flash. I close my eyes, partially blinded, but continuing to concentrate my ki.
As I open my eyes I realize that my attack is being eaten by Vegeta's. My eyes widen as the white beam becomes larger every second. I realize that my energy is low.
'His attack is draining my ki!'
The beam has now completely devoured mine and is now coming at me.
"Kuso--!"
It connects and there's a burning sensation throughout my whole body.

Then it's black.

*****

"Kakarotto! Hey, Baka! Wake up!
My eyes slowly open and the light causes my head to pound.
"Unh...?"
"Kakarotto!"
I look at a blur in front of me, mostly a black spike. "Ugh... 'Geta?"
My vision steadies and I see him kneeling above me, an odd expression on his face.... Is that.... worry?
"Can you get up?"
"Uh.... gimme a sec... My head is pounding."
"Hn." His eyes change as he puts up his mask.
I sit up and rub my temples.
"Oi, Vegeta-chan... What was that?"
He twitches, in a different way than normal, then he snarls at me, 'That's normal...'
"I've developed that over the last year... and don't call me that."
"Heh... that was pretty cool. Maybe... uh, could you show me that?"
"Hn... No. I perfected it so I could kill you."
"Really now? You looked kinda worried a couple of minutes ago."
He blinks, a pick tinge rising to his cheeks. "It's... because I want everyone to witness your defeat."
"Right." I smirk. "Admit it, you're starting to like me."
"Please. That'll be the day hell freezes over."
I find my eyes wandering over his chest again. He raises an eyebrow at me.
"Kakarotto...?"
"Why do you call me that?" I ask, looking up at him.
"Because, I can... It's your name, dumbass."
"Stop calling me stupid! You can call me anything else, but I'm not dumb."
"Hn. I'll do whatever I damn well please, baka."
Something clicks inside me and I tackle him, going for his throat. We roll around on the floor, trying to over power the other, snarling and swearing.
"Get off!" Vegeta barks, after I pin him down again.
I blink and feel my cheeks heat up, but try to ignore it. "Make me."
He catches me off guard and rolls over on top of me. "I should kill you..."
I squirm underneath him, feeling awkward. "Then why don'tcha?", I say, a mocking tone in my voice.
He growls as he punches me in the face. Blood seeps from the fresh cut on my now swollen lip. "I already told you..." He swings another punch with is left hand, hitting me in the nose, which begins spurting blood. "...I want witnesses to your demise!"
I snarl, my chest pounding in excitement. "...Coward."
"Me?! Please! You're the one who hides from your true nature! You're afraid of what the people on this pathetic mud ball think! What that harpy thinks! If she truly loved you, then she wouldn't care!"
I close my eyes, his words hitting home, 'He's right...'
"Hmph... You're a pathetic excuse of a saiya-jin. I don't care if you're stronger, you don't deserve to have the blood that pumps through your veins. You've turned into one of them."
I look away from him, pained by his words. "Vegeta."
"Nani?!" He barks
"You're right... I am pathetic."
"Nani...?"
"Vegeta-sama," I say sincerely, no sarcasm in my voice like there usually is. "You're better than me."
"Kakarotto..."
"Sure, I'm stronger... but you're better. You don't leave your family just to satisfy your battlelust. You don't--"
He cuts me off. "Kakarotto, stop. I..."
His face turns red, "...I didn't mean..." He stands up and turns his back to me.
I sit up, wiping the blood off my face. "Vegeta?"
He heads for the door. I quickly grab his shoulder. "Don't go.... I... It's alright."
"..." Het turns and looks into my eyes. "...Baka."
I blink, giving him a look like, 'where the hell did that come from?'. Then he smirks at me and I feel my face grow warm.
"Holy Kami... He's so... sexy..." I feel a throb in my pants. Without even thinking, I grab both of his shoulders and pull him to me, our lips mashing together in a hungry kiss.
Vegeta stands there, rigid, not really sure what's going on. "Mmph?!" I continue kissing him, my tongue darting around in his warm sensual feeling mouth. My mind's not even working, my thoughts dull from the pain coursing through my body, especially my broken nose.
"Mmm..." I hear and feel a quiet moan, and his body instantly loosens. He wraps his arms around my neck and I soon feel his tongue slipping into my mouth, tasting me.
I pull him closer, moaning when I feel out tightened erections rubbing together. He slowly pulls away from the kiss, moaning my name.
"Kakarotto..."
I grind our members together again as I shower his neck and collar bone with kisses, running m hands down his chiseled chest, feeling his hardened nipples.
"Nnh...! Kakarotto!"
I love it! I love hearing him call my name that way. My hair on the back of my neck stands on end as goose bumps cover my body. I work my way up his neck to his earlobe, sucking, licking, and nipping every inch of flesh I can touch.
"Kakarotto...." He squirms. "...We shouldn't be doing this..."
I continue, not hearing his plea.
"Kakarotto! ....Please. Bulma and Trunks... I can't do this to them... You were just telling me how you need to be a better husband and father. So, stop! Think of Chichi and Gohan! Of Goten!"
Something inside me clicks and I stop, stepping away from him. I blink and look at him. His cheeks are a deep shade of red.
"...Go home, Kakarotto." He turns his back to me and looks down at the floor.
"But, Vegeta, I--"Go, Kakarotto. Now."
The sound of his voice gives me this odd feeling in the pit of my stomach.... Guilt? Or maybe sadness?
I head to the door, but then I stop.
"Vegeta... I'm sorry."
"..."
