Videl smiled as the man greeted her with courtesy. Most men would have tried to refer her on first name bases. She would have been pretty pissed if he were one of them. The Man was cute. No Doubt about it.

"Why Hello, Mr.??"

Gohan seem to chuckle at this.

" Why Ms. Satan, such laziness. How could you let one yours meet one of Ms. Briefs without know their names?" Gohan said in a offense yet playful voice.

"I..I.." Videl blushed a slight pink, and looked toward the ground. How could she let one of her people meet someone? It could have been a murderer and she wouldn't have known.

Gohan laughed a bit harder. " It's Okay, Ms. Satan! I'm just playing around! My boss doesn't look around either. Too busy yelling at her husband!"

Videl soon let out a giggle and brought her hand to her mouth and starting laughing a bit harder...

" Hmm" Videl looked at Gohan expectantly...

Gohan eyes went a bit wide in confusion and question.. "...What?"

Videl then moved her head a bit to the left and looks straight behind him and pointed. " The line moved"

Gohan then blush slightly and brought his hand to the back of his head and moved up the person behind him. When he turned, he saw Videl walking normally.

"Aren't you hungry?"

"I am, but I have patience. Is running to the line going to make my food come faster? If so, then I would be running like the wind!"

Smiling at Videl's comment Gohan chuckled. " So true, my dear. So true "

Videl smiled a sweet smile and then turn in uneasiness. So what else to say?

" You know, I have nothing to say." Gohan blurted out.

"Me neither"

"So let just talk about, having nothing to talk about."

Videl smiled and then let out a small laughed and cocked her eyebrow. " Something, is wrong with you…" Videl laughed, smiling broadly now.

"Nothing wrong, it's my duty to entertain such lovely ladies such as yourself."

Blushing at Gohan's comment and Videl turned away. Gohan then blushed too, but he was used to blurting things like this to people and then regret it, but then again. All the time he said bursts like this, things turn out for the best.

Finally when the tension eased a little, Videl turn to Gohan.

"Mr. Son, just before you left you said something to me about a party?"

Gohan slapped his forehead.

" Ah, Yes! Ms. Bulma knew that the merger would be a success and so she wants to call you to confirm plans. You know a little get together when the companies merge.

"Ah.."

"Yes."

"I see, when do you see her?"

Gohan lifted his left hand and glanced at his watch.

" I have to meet her around five and it's one, so in about four hours."

Videl nodded and then seem to stare off into outer space then suddenly came back.

"Tell her, to call me tomorrow. I have an affair today, and I'm afraid my secretary will leave early today. I planned to give it to her because I hear her talking to her friends sometimes, saying that this job is taking her away from her kids. "

"Ah, You are not only a beautiful but a kind woman. Each goes hand - in - hand. But yes, I do suppose you should let her off more, weekends perhaps. Or when there's no school for the children."

Videl eyed him curiously. " You sound as if you experience it yourself. "

"Hai, my mother was always working, trying to provide for my brother and me. I always hoped her boss would let her off early. At least once, the weekends so she could hang with us, ya know? And when I see other mothers and kids going through the same thing, my heart…ah! Don't worry about it" Gohan said with a wave of dismiss.

Videl grabbed Gohan arm. "Please, Go On..."

Gohan looked at Videl, tear-eyed. Turning away from her in embarrassment.

"The line has moved." Gohan gently pulled his arm from Videl and walked up. Videl sighed and followed him.

Videl walked back to the car with several fries stuffed in her mouth while one hand went through the bag grabbing more of the delicious food.

" MMmmm! The Burger, Fries, McNuggets! "

Videl then reached her car and unlocked the car and stepped and close the door and locked and automactially starting eating her meal.

"Mmmm! Oh this is good. This is srumtious! So salty! MMm, so hot and spicy!"

When Videl was done with her food she reached out for her coke and immediantly starting drinking. Brining down excess food down her throut. Once she was done. She let out a heartfelt sigh and then starting cleaning up her mess. She put all the remains in the bag and unlocked her car and got out and went to the outdoor trashcan.

Videl then threw the bag into the can while someone else did the same. She looked up.

"Ms. Satan, I see you were hungry!"

"Hai, just couldn't wait! I dug in write there and then. My car probably is dirty and smells of this crap."

"Good Crap!"

"Of Course, good crap!"

Videl smiled and then said.

" Well, it was nice to meet you, Mr. Son". She then took out her hand. Gohan took her hand into his hand and shook hers.

"Same here, Ms. Satan"

Videl drew her hand back and smiled a little uneasily, her hand felt so warm...because of him?

Videl then turned and walked back into her car and once in she look at her hand...Mr. Son...

Wonder what's his first name is. Perhaps an intelligent name like Charles or a Silly name like Steve or perhaps a cool name like Jason. Or cute names like Mamoru or Motokti.

Videl smiled and inserted her key into the ignition and pulled back her car and drove off.

Videl finally reached her building around 1:45 when she entered she didn't find her dad anywhere.

Some Whore probably got his attention....

Videl shook her head at her dad's excitement and then walked toward her secretary's little corner. When she finally reached her desk the woman looked at her surprised.

"You have the rest of the day off.." Videl said suddenly

The woman looked at her surprised. What could have changed her young employee's mind? "But..I..I.."

"I'm sure go on. Be with your children."

The woman gasped. " But…but how?"

Videl lifted both eyebrows and brought them down and said,

" I want you to have a day off! Can't a girl be nice without anyone being suspicious of her? Now go on before I change my mind! " Videl said playfully. The woman nodded and stuttered her thanks and quickly left.


"A woman's love for a child never ceases to amaze me.... mom..."

Videl wiped away a tear before it came down. She then started toward her office and reached it went in. She then sighed and leaned against the door, sighing.

Videl then felt something warm on her lips and something wet, trying to go in her mouth. Videl's eyes snapped open and gasped letting the intruder full access. Videl then pull the man and threw him across from him.

Videl eyes widen as she felt lips of another press against her own. Gasping in pure shock; giving the intruder full access. Videl grabbed the back of the person shirts and pushed that person away with all the strength she could muster.

"Who the hell are you and what are you thinking?!"

"Babe! It's me!"

Videl eyes went wide in anger and shock. No, no, he couldn't have. He's MUCH too smart!!

"Sharp...en...er?!" Videl chocked with anger.

"The One and Only, babe."

Videl eyes flashed white with pure fury.

"What the hell were you thinking!"

"Um..I.. was thinking of surprising you"

Videl then launched at Sharpener, all pent up emotions she had kept in let loose in fury. Outside, people heard the commotion and looked in to find their boss torturing her ex-boyfriend. Two men's automactially headed toward Videl and pulled her back.

"Let Me go!"

"No, Ms. Satan! Calm Down!"

"This bastard had the strength to come and kiss me! I'm going to break him!"

"You can't break him Videl! Let it go!"

Videl then started breathing, the anger ceaseing.

"Get Out." Videl hissed.

"Videl.."

"Get Out!"

Sharpener stood up and walked out. The men then set Videl down and looked at her worriedly.

"I'm Okay." Videl said lifting up her hand.

"Are You Sure?"

"Hai"

The men nodded and walked out along with the crowd. Videl slid down to the floor and let the tears out. She couldn't take it anymore. Everything was a whirlwind of pain and drama.

"No More Drama in my life, no one going to make me hurt again.." Videl sang breathlessly.

Videl got up and then walked to the door. She didn't care anymore. She had to get out, to breath. There was just too much drama..."

Tears started gathering at the corner of her eyes and Videl then walked out of her office till she was out of the building. Once outside, Videl reached into her pocket and opened her car doors and went into her car and started it and drove off.

Videl drove and drove. Emotions pent up just let out. So many lies and pain and drama in her life. It was too overwhelming. She couldn't breath anymore. The very thought of living was painful.

She drove all around Satan city, looking at families. People walk all happy and laughing. They would think because She was rich and was told beautiful that she was happy, that she had it all. But in real life, she was fucked up..

Night finally reached Satan City and Videl finished fueling her car with gas. She then drove to her favorite place since child-hood. The park...

Videl reached a parked and just got out the car. She left it open. Let someone whom needs it get it. She left the keys on the roof. Let someone take it, she would no longer need it. She walked and walked. Small critters came along and scurried off as they heard the footstep of Videl.

Finally the bridge was in sight. Videl soon started running. Running, letting the tears fall and drape behind her as little crystals. She finally reached it and kept walking till she was at the center and leaned over....

The water was so clear and calm. Almost serene kind of air. She looked down and saw all the life below. The scene was so break taking. She felt in calm with her self. Videl closed her eyes. And just felt life around her. The awaken birds chirp. The water run.. She slowly opened her eyes.

"It's time."

Videl backed up a little and looked up into the sky. "Forgive Me..."

She then lifted one of her legs on to the bridge and put both hands on the bar and life the other leg. She then took one leg and put it in the front of the bar and the other the same. She then uncertainly looked around.

"Goodbye.."

Videl turned and started to leap over when she was interrupted by a voice.

"NO!"

Videl snapped her head toward the mysterious person who defied against what she had to do.

"Who's there?"

"It's me, Ms. Satan!"

"Mr. Son?"

Gohan appeared out of the shadow, worried carved into his face. "Don't jump! Be Strong!"

Videl turned to him and yelled about things Gohan couldn't even dream of.

"STRONG? Be Strong? I've tried to be strong all my life! I can no longer be strong!!" Videl then lifted one hand depending on the other and brought the shaky hand to her face.

"I am going to be free. No one can stop me!"

Videl then jumped into the water. Gohan eyes went wide…
