I guess I'm gonna have to put the ages down again for all you who say pan is just an annoying child. Trunks 32, Pan 24, Marron 29, Bra 25, Goten 31,Uub 29 Got it. alright.
This is an alternate universe, The ages are changed to suit the story. 8 years is not that bad my parents are 8 years apart and have been married for 35 years. (I honestly don't care about the fourteen year age difference either it's what makes Pan and Trunks who they are,and that's just one of the many reason's why I like them)
and another thing as it is a alternate universe, Saiyans don't excist, that's right no such thing, Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, (not actually in story) Trunks, Pan, Bra, and Goten are human. So the whole saiyans fall in love it's permanent thing get don't imply here, alright.
So now that I have explained to you what's going on in my head, now on to the fic.

A FEW HOURS LATER.
"Trunks?" Marron asked.
"Yes Marron?" Trunks replied.
"I was wondering, about that kiss" She stuttered a bit. "It was probably all a mistake, huh? I know you wouldn't ever kiss me"

He continued to laugh "Because you are funny"
He went up to her and kissed her again passionately,he pulled away "I kissed you because I wanted to,and I well, you see I love you Marron Chan"

He smiled picking her up taking her upstairs.

"Well Mr. Briefs I'm protesting you're company"
Trunks was now confused, why would anyone protest Capsule. "Why?"

"What, that is preposterous, I have and will never permit the use of animals in any experiment, you're allegations are false and inhumane" He said.
"Inhumane? You say, well is it humane to treat a poor defenseless animal like the way you're company is" She yelled at him.
"Miss, I have never used animals, I swear to God"
"Then explain these" She demanded as she showed him pictures of animals being used for tests, and kami know's what
Trunks took the pics "What are these?"
"Those are pictures of you're Lab Mr. Briefs"

"Yeah well, I never go back on a promise Miss, I will fix this matter you don't have to worry" He said.

Trunks was getting frustrated. "Because as I said, I stay true to my word, if you don't believe that them you're insane"
"Me insane, I'm not the one using poor defenseless animals for inhumane lab experiments" She snapped.
"And I said, my company doesn't do that, but would you listen No, you're stuck in you're own little world and no one is invited in" He retaliated back.
"Yeah, well at least I'm using my free time, to help unfortunate souls, what do you do sit up in you're office all day watching you're clock waiting for the 5 O,clock hour to come along?"

Trunks closed his eyes for a moment to think, he took a deep breath and sighed "Alright, Lets make a deal if I take you down to the Lab, and set what ever animal is down there, will you believe me then?"

Trunks entered his code to the lab. What he saw sickened him ~~~Oh god, she's right what are they doing~~~ Cages of poor defenseless Dogs, Cats, and other animals line the labratory floor.
"Miss I assure you, I had no Idea about this, the people who are responsible shall be punished"
He than walked to a near by office to call animal services.
"Mr. Briefs, Thankyou for saving the animals, and I'm sorry sir" The woman looked down at the floor.
"No problem, I don't allow for these things to go on, the persons will be severely fined and punished Mark my word"
The woman smiled, "Thankyou"
"Now are we on equal footing" Trunks looked for some sort of sign
"Nope,now I'm protesting the water supply"
"Water supply?"
"Yes, It seems chemicals are being dumped into our water supplies, especially the lakes and rivers,now I don't drink this water but are farm animals are"
Trunks sat and listened to the woman ramble on and on about clean drinking water.

FEW HOURS LATER. CAPSULE RANCH.
When Trunks returned home it was considerably late. "Trunks you're home" Marron said.
"Hello Marron, any calls while I was out?"

Trunks headed upstairs to his bed.

Trunks sat in his easy chair thinking about what the woman at the office said earlier that night. ~~~The water supply does need to be cleaned and filtered, but how do I do that~~~ He thought, ~~~If I'm gonna have a horse, the water supply that horse drinks from needs to be clean from all chemicals.
~~~I sure in hell aint gonna spend no 50 grand on a horse only to get it killed by the damn water~~~ He thought.
~~~Maybe I should call the clean water act, Capsule should take responsibility for their actions~~~
Trunks was lost in thought, he really didn't know how to go about the problem of cleaning the lake, he had really never tried. ~~~The lake, my lake why haven't I ever noticed the contamination in it, if it does have contamination, I really can't be sure~~~ He walked over to the window, and opened up the french style doors, stepping out onto the balcony. ~~~There's gotta be something I can do, some kind of formula, surely I can think of something to clean up the water, isn't there?~~~ He asked him self.

CAPSULE RANCH GROUNDS 7AM.
Marron woke up and did her normal duties, cleaning up and fixing Trunks' breakfast, she went to call Trunks for breakfast,

She decided to go down there and find out.

Trunks looked at the lake, to determine what the factors in cleaning the water was, ~~~This is gonna be more complicated then I thought~~~~ His thoughts were interrupted.
"Trunks, You're breakfast is ready sir" Marron said.
Trunks turned around "Hey Marron, do you think there's away to clean the chemicals out of the lake?" He asked.
Marron was shocked, he never asked her questionns like that, "Well uhm, You are Trunks Briefs if anyone can figure out how to clean and filter water surely you can"
Trunks sighed, "Yes but to clean the entire lake, is going to prove a difficult job" He than looked at his watch, "Oh shit, I'm late again, gotta go" He kissed Marron on the cheek and left.

Everyone in there was shocked. "I can't believe it, all our animals our gone" One man said.

Trunks looked at the man as if he just fell off the turnip truck "Are you dense, I came down here to fire you're sorry asses"

"Because Capsule, will and Certaintly does not use poor defenseless animals for our lab experiments, you all have went against the morals of this company and will be severely punished, Firing you is from this position is just the tip of the iceberg each of you will be fined an incredible amount by the state, which will cause you to get your Pay Check garnished, do you understand" Trunks said in a very calming voice, which didn't get any reaction "GOT IT" He roared.
"Yes, yes" they all nodded.
"Good" He said as he walked up back to his office.

Trunks entered his office, "Marla please make out papers on the workers in devision 34, and get on the phone to hire new lab technicians, I fired their sorry asses down there"
Marla looked up."You fired them?" She asked. "Is it because of what they were doing"

"Oh, alright I'll get busy"
"Take you're time Marla, after all today is friday"
Marla smiled.
"Thankyou Mr. Briefs"
The word friday hit him, ~~~Hmm tommorow I get to see the horse my Imouto bought~~~ He thought as he looked over some papers.

He pushed her off of him "Because I'm just not in the mood right now, alright"

"Could you leave me please?" He asked.

Trunks sat back down in his chair. his thoughts weren't on Marron, or the upcoming events No they were on a paticular Protester ~~~I need a way to keep that woman away from here tommorow, I can't let my clients knowing what's going on at Capsule, I'll surely be out 50 grand and a horse then~~~
