Marron looked at the man who stole her heart many years ago. "Yes, Trunks what is it?"
Trunks closed his eyes for a moment as he took a deep breath. "Marron, you have been a god send to me, and I love you."
"I love you too, Trunks. So, why do I feel a 'but' coming on?"
"I can't love you the way you deserve to be loved." Trunks cried.
"Why?" She asked.
"I love someone else." He firmly stated.
"Pan?!" She said more as a statement than a question.
"Yeah Pan, I love Pan." Trunks replied.
"I don't care if you have feelings for her Trunks because I know that what we have is stronger and nothing can ever come between us." Marron smiled.
"No Marron, what we have is illusions, we can never have what you want."
"Why?! Because some two bit child came in and you instantly fell for her after four months?? We have known each other for over ten years. I have loved you for over ten years." Marron started crying.
Trunks went up to her, "Marron, I do love you, just not in the way you want me to."
"Why, tell me why you all the sudden want to be with her and not me?" She yelled as tears flowed down her cheeks.
Trunks took a deep breath and finally said. "She's pregnant."
Marron stopped crying. "Pregnant?" She accented the word as if it never had been used before. "Fine, than she can go and be with the father of her baby. You don't need to play fairy godfather Trunks. I'm sure the father of her baby will provide for her."
"It's my baby. I'm the one who got her pregnant, I'm the father." Trunks stated.
"You're the father?" Marron was stunned. She had known that Trunks had slept with Pan, but she never imagined this could have happened.
"Yeah," Trunks replied. "I'm so sorry Marron. Please know that I never wanted to hurt you." Trunks apologized.
"Can you just leave me alone? Please." She asked.
"Yeah, sure." Trunks said as he left the room.
Marron stood there watching the love of her life go to the mother of his child. She sat down in a chair and started sobbing.
/The stables/
"Hey Panny," Goten said.
"Hey uncle G," She said unenthusiastically.
"What's wrong, P Chan?"
"Uncle Goten, have you ever done something so stupid?" Pan asked.
"Many times, so what did you do?"
"I slept with Trunks and now I'm pregnant with his child." Pan cried. Goten stared at her for a moment.
"You’re pregnant? With Trunks' child?" He asked completely stunned.
Pan nodded.
"Does he know?"
"Yeah, he does."
"What is he planning on doing?" Goten asked concerned for his niece. He didn't want to see her hurt.
"He wants to take responsibility for it."
"He told you this?"
Pan nodded. "Yeah, he did. He said that he wanted to take care of me and the baby, whatever that means."
As Pan and Goten were talking, they saw Uub coming up to them. "Hey guys, what's going on?"
"Nothing Uub," Pan said as she left.
"What’s going on with Pan?" Uub asked Goten.
"She's pregnant." Goten said. He said it as if not really sure if he had the right to tell anyone, but this was only Uub. Surely, Pan wouldn't care if he told him."
"She's pregnant?" Uub was stunned. He couldn't picture Pan being a mom. Hell! She didn't even like kids and here she was about to have one of her own.
"I was shocked as well. Pan isn't the type to just do something like this."
"Who's is it?" Uub asked referring to whom the father was.
"Well the baby is Trunks Briefs' Baby." Goten replied.
"Trunks?" Uub asked as if he had never heard the name Trunks before. "I had no idea they were even together. I thought he was going with Marron."
"I thought so too, but apparently Trunks had slept with Pan, during the time him and Marron were together."
"Are we even sure he's the father?" Uub asked
Goten nodded, "Yeah, Pan told me right away. She really isn't the one to hold things like these; she’d rather tell everyone and get it over with."
Uub nodded still stunned by the fact that the Pan he had known for years was gonna have a baby.
"You okay?" Goten asked.
"Yeah, I'm just surprised that's all. Pan Chan having a baby." Uub said. As he and Goten were talking, they saw Trunks come up to them.
"You guys seen Pan?"
"She's out in the pasture with Katana." Goten replied.
"Thanks," Replied Trunks as he went off to the pasture.
/The pasture/
"Pan," Trunks called to Pan.
Pan turned around to see Trunks. "Trunks, what are you doing out here? Don't you have to go to work?"
"I wanted to see if you were alright."
"Considering I'm pregnant and experiencing morning sickness, I'm fine." Pan said with a little laugh.
"Pan,"
"Sorry, what else do you need?"
"I wanted to propose an offer to you." Trunks smiled.
"An offer?"
