Trunks 31
"Damn." Pan cursed as she backed her boyfriends Truck into a light pole, "Oh,
shit, shit, Trunks is going to kill me." She got out of the Truck to assess the
damage; the truck had a dent in it. Since the light pole had no damage, and no
one was hurt, except for maybe her pride. She got back into the car and drove to
Capsule Corp, the residence of the Briefs where her boyfriend Trunks had resided
for the last thirty-one years.
"What did you do?" Trunks yelled as he saw the dent in his brand-new Dodge Ram
quad cab.
"Shit." Pan accidentally said as Trunks came out, she did not want him to see
the dent in the car just yet, as she did that, Trunks had looked at her oddly.
"Pan?"
Pan was now embarrassed, she put her hand over her mouth in shame as her face
turned red. She lowered her head and whispered "I'm sorry, Trunks." The way she
looked was so darn cute to
Trunks that he found it hard to be mad at her, or even try to act like he was
mad.
"Don't worry about it, it happens."
"I wrecked your brand-new Truck."
"No you didn't, I can get it fixed." Trunks pulled her into a hug as he held
her. "Don't be upset, I'm not, I expect these things from you, I live for these
moments, I love you with all of your faults Panny."
Pan smiled she looked up at him. "Really?!"
"Really!" Trunks took a deep breath. "Now do you care to collaborate, on why you
had my truck in the first place?"
"I wanted to go and get you something for your birthday on Wednesday."
"Why didn't you just fly?"
"Well, I just got my drivers license and I kind of wanted to drive by myself."
Pan explained.
"It's alright, just please ask me first." Trunks smiled as she pulled her into
another hug.
"I still can't believe, I did that." Pan tried to laugh it off, but she still
felt bad wrecking Trunks' Truck.
"I love you, and every stupid idiotic thing you do."
"Trunks, can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, shoot."
"Why do you keep loving me?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you can have any girl, why me?"
"You're not boring." Trunks simply said. "Marron was too uptight, Cindy was too
high maintenance, Heather well, Heather was, Was well Heather, You on the other
hand are fun, and care free, laid back and I like that, you always go with the
flow, you never seem to get upset when plans change, and that is why I love
you."
Pan smiled as she brought her lips up to Trunks and kissed him. "So you're not
mad."
"I'm not mad, and um Pan, you're not going to bake me a cake again are you?"
Trunks asked, as Pan got embarrassed.
***********************************************
Well I'll never forget the first time that I heard
that pretty mouth say that dirty word
And I can't even remember now
what she backed my truck into
but she covered her mouth
and her face got red
and she just looked so darn cute
That I couldn't
Even act like
I was mad
Yeah I live for
little moments
like that

*Flashback*
After living with each other for a few months, Trunks' Birthday was coming up,
Pan had decided to bake Trunks a cake.
"Alright, I just set the degrees at 350 and let bake for 30 minutes, alright."
Pan said as she set the oven and timer. She then decided to go shower and get
dressed so she would look nice when Trunks got home.
/One hour later/
Trunks had arrived home to a smell of smoke coming from the kitchen. "No, No,
No," He heard a voice crying in despair.
"That sounds an awful like Pan." He said as he got concerned and ran towards the
voice. "Pan Chan?" Trunks entered the kitchen, there he saw his girlfriend
sitting on the floor sobbing, holding a Cake pan, which held a burnt cake.
Trunks looked a her with sympathetic eyes, but still couldn't help, but find the
scene comedic.
Pan looked up at him. "I'm sorry."
Trunks let a little laugh, "No, it's alright." He pulled her up off the floor
and into his arms, "You tried your best and that is all I ever ask for."
"I know, but I wanted to make you a cake for your birthday."
Trunks smiled, "I know you did, and I'm sure it is a wonderful cake." He said as
he cut a piece and ate it, the cake it self tasted bitter and was pretty much
inedible, but Trunks didn't care, the love that went into making it, made it all
worthwhile.
Pan stared up at him with large puppy dog eyes, "So?"
"I like it, Pan." Trunks lied a bit, but he did mean it, he loved her and
anything she did. He just loved the way she did things, and although, sometimes
the way she did things, was comedic.
/end of flashback/
***********************************************
That's like just last year on my birthday
She lost all track of time and burnt the cake
And every smoke detector
in the house was going off
And she was just about to cry until I took her in my arms
And I tried not
To let her see
me laugh
Yeah I live for
little moments
like that
*****************************************
"I almost burned down the entire Capsule Kitchen, that day didn't I?" Pan was
embarrassed.
"I'm such a failure, I'm not good enough for you."
Trunks was shocked, "What are you talking about, I don't care about those
things, I love it when you do those things, it is what makes this relationship
so fun to be in, if you were perfect, life would be extremely boring. I love you
no matter what, I love those little imperfections.
"Trunks."
"Pan, you are not perfect, and thank god you're not, life would be extremely
boring." Pan smiled as she listened to Trunks compliments.
"Really?
"I love the way you do everything, I love your quirky personality, I love the
way you all the sudden change our plans with out a moments notice, just so you
can accommodate someone's else's feelings, I love the way you get us lost, and
that is because I get to be near you, close to you.
"I love you more then anyone Trunks." Pan smiled as he pulled her into an
embrace, and kissed her lips gently.
"You're mine." He stated.
"Yes, forever." He pulled her onto the couch, and they cuddled up with each
other.
"Let's watch some TV."
*********************************************
I know she's not perfect but she tries so hard for me
And I thank God that she isn't
cause how boring would that be
It's the little imperfections
It's the sudden change of plans
when she misreads the directions
and we're lost but holding hands
Yeah I live for little moments like that
***************************************************
Trunks and Pan cuddled up onto the couch, as Pan leaned her head on his
shoulder. Trunks kissed the top of her head. They watched, the Thursday night
lineup on NBC, Pan had falling asleep, during Will and Grace, Trunks could feel
his arm falling asleep, that he wanted so bad to move it, but looks down at her
and sees her sleeping like an angel, he doesn't want to wake her up.
'I love the way she falls asleep, leaning against me.' Trunks looked down, at
the woman he loves, the woman, who made his life worth living for, he loved her
more then his own life, and would do anything for her, she was his life, and
little did she know, she kept stealing his heart over and over again.
"Pan?"
"Hmm, what?"
"I love you."
Pan smiled, and yawned. "I love you too Trunks, why did you wake me up for
that?" She said falling back to sleep. Trunks laughed, at her.
"No reason." he answered, "You will always have my heart Panny." He whispered,
as he shifted her position and layed with her as he held her tightly in his
arms.
****************************************************
When she's layin on my shoulder
on the sofa in the dark
and about the time she falls asleep
so does my right arm
and I want so bad to move it cause it's tingling and it's numb
she looks so much like an angel
that I don't wanna wake her up
yeah I live for little moments
when she steals my heart again and doesn't even know it
Yeah I live for little moments like that
***************************************************8
Trunks lived for the little moments, he never wanted Pan to be perfect, he hated
the way his old girlfriends were always so perfect in everything they did, or
the way they had to have everything so perfect, it was hard on him, to
accommodate their needs, he remembered one time, when Pan, tried to change her
sassy tomboy way, to be more like the way of the sophisticated ways of old
girlfriends.
/Flashback/
"You think Trunks is going to like this?" Pan asked Trunks sister Bra.
"He'll love it." Bra commented, as she finished Pan's make up. "Done."
Pan looked at herself in the mirror. "She had on a baby blue dress, her face was
made up, and her haired curled."
"go on, don't keep my brother waiting." Bra said as she pushed Pan out the door,
Pan walked to Trunks room.
She knocked on the door. "Come in." She heard Trunks voice.
"Hello Trunks." Pan said.
"Pan?"
"Yes."
"What did you do?"
"Bra gave me a make over do you like it."
"it's nice Pan, but frankly to tell you the truth, it's not you." Trunks told
her.
"You don't like it, which means you don't like me." She ran down the hall,
Trunks running after her.
"Pan, that's not what I meant."
"What did you mean." Pan said turning around.
"Pan, you look like my ex's, I don't want you to look like them, I want you to
dress the way you want, if Tomboy Chic, or what you call it, is the way you want
to dress, then dress that way, but please don't dress the way you think, I want
you to."
Pan smiled. "Thanks Trunks, I'll be right back."
Pan hurried to her room, where she put back on her jeans, t-shirt, and orange
bandana, she ran to Trunks.
"Much better, there's the girl, I fell madly in love with."
Pan smiled as she leaned up to kiss Trunk, her picked her up in his arms, and
kissed her. "I
love you." Pan smiled.
"I love you. " Trunks smiled, through the kiss.
/End of flashback./
Trunks, did not want Pan, to change for him, he loved her the way she was, and
never wanted her to change.
He lived for the little moments, he lived for Pan, and what she stood for.
