A beautiful white coffin with a single red rose on the lid was being lowered into a grave. There was an equally beautiful headstone with two angels at the base.
inscription on the headstone said, Bulma Vegeta Briefs, loving wife, wonderful mother, and loyal friend.
quote below the inscription read, Today is the most day of your life because yesterday is history and tomorrow may never come.

can't believe she's gone." Gohan said sadly.
had grown up around Bulma, went on adventures with her. She was like a second mother to him, and he couldn't bring her back. It was strange to know she was gone for good.
was crying silent tears when she felt a pair of warm arms around her.
Who?~ She thought.
she turned around to see Bra. Bra was crying hard. She had been since Bulma's death.
She sobbed into the older woman's shoulder.
Bra honey shhh, it will be alright I promise."
didn't console Bra at all, if anything, it made her sob harder. ChiChi looked for Vegeta. She caught his gaze and shot him a pleading look. He understood and walked up to the women.
His gruff voice said. She turned her attention at her father.
Bra latched onto him.
took her chance and left to talk to her family, but instead of her sons, she ran into Trunks.
ChiChi I was looking for you. May I speak to you in private for a few moments?"
Trunks."
had not spoken to Trunks since that day at the hospital and she was wondering what he could have possibly wanted to talk about.

Trunks."

"You've been friends with my mom for a long time."
I have."
mom cared for you greatly and wanted you to be happy and safe if she died before you."
what are you getting at?"
you see ChiChi, my mom told my father and I that if she died before you, to let you come live at Capsule Corp. because she didn't want you to become lonely and be by yourself on that mountain."
I see Trunks."
about a minute of silence Trunks spoke,
you going to live there?"
don't know Trunks. I dont want to be a bother."
ChiChi, Mom would have wanted you be happy. She arranged everything for you, a room, a car, and even told the servants about you. It's all in her will. ChiChi you are like a second mother to me and I want you to be happy. Please live at Capsule Corp."
you nor Bra live at Capsule Corp. It's only Vegeta and some servants.
Is there something wrong with me?" Vegeta asked coming up behind ChiChi. ChiChi blushed slightly. She didn't know he was behind her.

"No there's nothing wrong with you, Vegeta. It's just, well all you do is train and probably wouldn't want to talk to me and I don't want to disturb the servants while they work and Capsule Corporation is huge and I'm not a young woman anymore. I can't move around as good as I use to."
don't worry about that. I'll make sure you don't hurt yourself."
ChiChi, it's what Mom wanted." Trunks begged.
looked at Trunks, then Vegeta.
Darnit ~ She thought, ~stupid handsome men so hard to say no to.~
I'll stay at Capsule Corp." She said in a defeated tone.
you ChiChi!" Trunks said happily and hugged her.
gave a nod and walked off. Trunks broke the embrace.
you ChiChi, I'll go tell Bra you decided to move to Capsule Corp."
Trunks." ChiChi said, waving to the fleeing figure of Trunks.
went to tell Bra, and ChiChi looked for her family. She found Gohan and walked beside him.
when are we leaving." ChiChi asked her son.
I was just about to get you so we could leave." Gohan said, surprised that she had snuck up on him, but then again his mother had always had that quality.
have to tell you and Goten something important when we get to my house."
is it?" Gohan asked curiously.
tell you when we get to my house." ChiChi said in a final tone.
Son family gathered Goten, who was talking with Marron, and took off toward ChiChi's home. About twenty minutes later they landed in front of ChiChi's house.
on let's go in everyone." ChiChi said to her family.

anyone want anything to eat?"
came the reply from everyone at once. Bulma's funeral had effected everything. Even the famous Son appetite.
sit, all of you." ChiChi said, pointing toward the living room.
taking a seat beside Goten, she began, "The reason I asked all of you here is to tell you something important."
on ChiChi." Videl said, curiosity evident in her voice.
found out today from Trunks that Bulma wanted me to move into Capsule Corp. after she died. Trunks asked if I wanted to and I said I would."
all stared at her, then Pan spoke up, "Grandma if you need any help moving, Trunks and I will help you."
help too mom." Goten said, while hugging her.
not a big fan of the idea, but I support your decision, Mom." Gohan said hesitantly.
support your decision too, ChiChi." Videl said, smiling at her mother-in-law.
you all." ChiChi said, her voice full of appreciation.
ask Trunks when he wants you to move in, grandma, and I'll stop by and tell you." Pan said hugging ChiChi as well.

her family went home and ChiChi was alone. She started looking through an old photo album. There were many pictures of her, Goku, and Gohan together. Many baby pictures of Gohan and Goten, even some of Pan. She flipped through the pages, glancing at pictures, but then one picture caught her gaze. It was of her and Goku on their wedding day. She was smiling, and he was looking at her curiously. Tears welled up in ChiChi's eyes. How she missed him. He was gone and would never return. Not even after Cell had she felt this lonely. She didn't even know she was crying until a crystal clear tear fell on her smiling face in the photo. Seeing this, ChiChi wiped her eyes. She took one last longing glance at the picture, and closed the photo album. She sighed and went to bed, loneliness envading her heart. How she missed Goku, but she wasn't the only one missing their mate.
stood on the balcony outside of his bedroom, staring at the crescent moon. How he missed Bulma. He sighed. There was no way he could bring her back. He walked to his bed and fell down in it. The satin sheets rubbing against his smooth skin. He looked at the spot Bulma use to share beside him. He turned away, staring at the space only made him even more lonely.
and Vegeta both sighed, and unknowingly, went to sleep at the same time.
