Chapter 30 - Onwards

"So, are we all going to look together? Maybe we should have a base where after finding each Dragonball we return to drop it off so the others can protect it. Besides we draw too much attention to ourselves and Kintoun can only take about 3 people, besides not all of us can ride it, Master Roshi, I'm lookin' at you..." Krillin finished sending a disapproving glance at the old man who was sneaking looks at a magazine he had brought along.

"You can't ride it either!" he snapped back, and pulled up his magazine to hide his face, but ending in just showing everyone what he was reading, he blushed and turned his back.

"I want to look for them" Yamcha said, turning to Goku, "but I can't ride the Kintoun. I can use my car and you can fly alongside it, I won't be left behind." he said definantly, and crossed his arms.

"I don't know why you're being so caring, we all know you have had other girlfriends in her absence." Chichi said wrinkling her nose and lip with plain disgust at Yamcha, who looked ashamed.

"She told me to move on! Besides, it's not like I stopped loving her or ever forgot her, I was trying to move on as she told me, but if I have the slightest chance to be with her again, I'm going to take that chance. Wouldn't you do the same?" he asked her, his eyes more honest than she had ever seen him, and he seemed to be sincere.

"I'd never be unfaithful. I'm a married woman, a married mother!" she gloated, and gave Gohan a smile, who began to whimper. They all ignored her and went back to planning the capture of the Dragonballs and the exact words of the wish to bring her back. For if they simply wish her back to life, she will appear wherever she was killed, and thus making things far more complicated. So they needed to bring her body back here to be brought back to life, all in one wish.

It became to be decided that Yamcha, Goku and Tienshinhan would gather the Dragonaballs and the rest would wait at the Son residence where they would summon the Dragon out of the city, as not to draw attention to Shenlong. However, the feared Piccolo was watching Goku's house and Kame House, but they decided that if some battle should break out, then a small island was not the best place to have it. The wish would command that she be brought back to life on Chikyuu, to where they were.

They collected the finished Dragon Radar from Dr. Briefs and decided to set off on their adventure tomorrow, as they needed to make sure they had gathered enough energy. Bulma's parents made them promise that if it succeeded they would bring her back to them as soon as they could manage. They all decided to stay at Goku's house that night, to ensure an early start and because Chichi was an excellent cook.

However, they had not even thought about a possible threat coming from somewhere other than Piccolo, and unbeknownst to them, 3 Saiya-jins were headed their way with very similiar intentions.
