Chapter Three

"Wow, i can't believe everything's changed." Marron said walking around in circles, examining the park she used to play in when she was a child. Happily she comforted herself on a spinner, and began twisting the big round shape in the middle, while the whole thing moved. She closed her eyes and felt her hair flow freely around her face and her back, then she inhaled deeply, remembering what it was like back in the days.

Then out of nowhere the whole thing stopped, and slowly she opened her eyes to see two big thugs staring at her. Instantly she pulled away and was now standing. "What do you want." She snapped glaring at the both of them. "Comeon babe, we just want to have some fun." "Oh really, why don't you go and have your gun somewhere else." She replied summoning some of her power, so that it was just on the palm of her right hand.

The two thugs didn't care though, they were just worried about gettting into her, death wasn't a fact in there books. Marron who wasn't a cold-blooded killer, didn't know what to do, so she gave in and decided to start running.

(Mum, dad or whoever, please save me). She thought running through the park and into the parking lot.

In The Sky

Pan who was still in her thoughts was flying until she saw a blonde-haired girl run into a parking lot and get blocked off. Not knowing why, she went to take a closer look, and what shocked her, was that it was Marron. She continued to watch, but when she saw one of the thugs grip onto Marron's neck, while the other went for her skirt, made her blood boil.

Then with a fit of rage she teleported behind the two men and knocked one of them out, while the other continued to assault Marron. But before he knew it, he was on the ground, knocked into unconciousness. She watched as Marron fell to the ground in tears, not knowing that it was her that just saved her.

"Are you ok." She asked with alot of kindness in her voice. "I'm fine, just leave me whoever you are." She said crying to herself. Pan knelt down to Marron and moved her hands out of the way. When Marron saw it was Pan, she jumped at the girl and hugged her with so much power, Pan nearly suffocated.

"Thankyou Pan, thankyou for saving me." Marron cried, but even harder than before. (I have to calm her down, before she gets really sad on me). She thought. Soothingly she picked Marron up and held her like she was some sort of possesion, which made Marron feel alittle bit more safe. "The next time you think of coming to the park, make sure someone's with you." Pan said before jumping into the air with a fragile Marron in her arms.

"I don't want to go back, i just want to stay out here with you." Marron said snuggling closer to Pan. Pan felt her whole body heat up, she didn't even notice that her ki rose, but at the right degree for Marron's sake. "What were you doing at the park anyway." Pan asked not looking at Marron once. "I just wanted to see what it was like, and it changed, just like you did."

Automatically Pan stopped dead-tracks in the sky and looked at Marron. "You know what, i'll tell you why i changed, i changed because i had no one around to talk to about my problems, i had no one to help me, and i had no one to love me either than my mother and father." After that, Marron was speechless, now she knew how Pan felt, and it tore at her heart to know that Pan was hurting all those years.

"I'm sorry Pan, i had no right to say those things, but i had to get it, one way or another." Pan just stared into Marron's eyes, and watching them made her feel needed. But all that time in the air the wind blew at Pan's face, which snapped her out of her staring trance. Powering up she sped away once again, not stopping, only when Marron wanted to see something.

(Lucky Pan came to rescue me, or i would have gotten hurt). She thought looking at the skepticals that flew beneath them fast. (I wonder what she's thinking, does she think i'm a training freak, or does she think i was real mean to those thugs back there.....or.....ahhh shut-up). Pan thought shaking her head violently, which definately got Marron's attention.

"What's the matter Pan." She asked a tad bit concerned. "Nothing, just keep still and we'll get there soon." "Where." Marron asked. "Somewhere."

(Geez she can talk). Pan thought.
