[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Goten rushed through the doors carrying Pan, "I need help here" He called
out. A nurse on duty ran over to them.

"What happened?" She asked as she started taking her vitals

"I don't know, she just collapsed" Goten replied.

"Alright, Doctor Hagashi" She called for the doctor who immediately came
over.

"What's her vitals?" She asked. The nurse told her the vitals.

"Put her in that room" The doctor demanded.

Goten was worried. "She's gonna be alright isn't she? He asked, the doctor
had stopped to talk to him.

"Well we would like to to run some test, but cant' with out parental or
guardian permission" She explained.

Goten nodded, "I'll call her parents"

Goten walked to the pay phones they got installed, because cell phones
aren't allowed in hospitals. He desposited 50 cents and dialed Gohan and
Videls home number. "Hello" VIdel answered.

"Hello, VIdel? It's me Goten."

"Goten?, Why are you calling here, is there anything wrong?"

"Videl, I'm at satan city hospital, Pan collasped"

"What? Pan...co...la..co...la..." She tried to say but could hardly
breathe, Gohan who was standing next to videl grabbed the phone out of her
hand.

"Goten, what's this all about." He shouted.

"Gohan, Pan, she collapsed.

"What?, Pan collasped, where are you now?"

"Satan city hospital, you need to get down here to fill out some
permission thingy so they can perform tests on her"

"We're on our way" Gohan hung up the phone. He walked over to Videl, who
was beside herself

"Oh my poor, poor Baby, what happened" She cried hysterically.

"VIdel, sweety, I'm sure Pan is gonna be just fine" He said letting her
lean on him for support, he opted to take the car, but he figured he get
there faster by flying and that he did, he took to the skies with Videl in
his arm.

They arrived at the hospital in record time. They rush to the door, and
run up to the check in station. "Pan Son" A nurse walked over, "Are you
Pan's Parents"

Gohan nodded, "Yes, is Pan alright"

"Well that's what we need the test to find out, I need for you to give us
permission to perform the tests, because she is a minor" She explained
handing Gohan a clipboard. "All it says, is that you're given satan city
hospital to perform what ever tests we see neccessary and fit"

Gohan took the clipboard did a quick over of the document and signed at
the bottom, he handed it to Videl who signed on the line next to his.

"Thankyou" The nurse went into the room where the doctor was checking Pan.
"I have the permission"

"Great, lets get started right away" The doctor said.

"What happened, Goten?" Gohan asked his little brother.

"I don't know, one minute she's standing like normal, the next she's
holding on to the park bench and falling to the ground" Goten began
explaining, "I picked her up and flew her here, they told me they couldn't
do anything with out Parental Consent, and that is when I called you"

"Thanks" Gohan said, walking to the window of Pan's room and looking in at
her. ~~Please, let my little girl be alright, I don't know what I would do
if anything happened to her~~He silently prayed to Dende.

Goten walked over, "I'm gonna call Mom" Gohan nodded. Goten walked to the
phones and dialed his mother's number, he let it ring a few times, but got
no answer. "Hmmm, That's odd, maybe she's at Capsule" He dialed Capsule
Corp. Trunks answered.

"Hello"

"Trunks, it's Goten, is my Mother there"

"No she isn't"

"Damn" Goten cursed.

"Goten, is something the matter"

"Trunks, I'm at the hospital"

"The hospital is everything alright?" Bra and Marron who was sitting next
to Trunks, when the phone call came in, was now concerned.

"Pan collasped."

"What?"

"Pan collasped"

"I'm on my way now" Trunks said hanging up the phone.

Bra stopped her brother, "Is Goten hurt, Trunks tell me." She sounded
really upset.

"Goten's fine." He replied as he took off out the window.

Bra was relieved. "Thankgod" She put her hand on her heart. Marron went
over to her and hugged her.

"Of course he's fine, why wouldn't he be,now what do you say,we go see who
really is hurt"

Bra agreed and her and Marron were off to the hospital, or so they
thought. "Stop right there Missy" Bulma said.

"Mother, we have to go"

"You are not going anywhere until you tell me why you are being so mean to
Pan, all she ever did to you was try to be your friend, but you...ugh..I
don't know, I'm really disapointed in you Bra, and you as well Marron"
Bulma yelled, while waving her arms in a crazy fashion.

"Mom calm down, Pan is a bitch and she deserves to die" Bra explained.

Bulma looked at her in utter shock. "I see you, I'm looking right at you,
and I can not believe that I gave birth to a spoiled, egotistical, self
centered brat like yourself" She turned to Marron. "And Juuhachi must be
asking how she came to be the mother of you, I can not believe how self
centered and spoiled both of you are" She continued to yell.

M eanwhile. Trunks had arrived at the hospital.

"Trunks" Goten greeted his friend at the main entry and took him back to
where the others were waiting.

"Goten, what happened, why'd she collaspe"

Goten shrugged his shoulde, "I don't know, Gohan and Videl are in with the
doctor now"

In the Doctor office.

"Leukemia?" Videl asked

"Yes, she has a form of Leukemia, she apparently has had it for awhile,
and may need to go through the chemo as soon as possible" The doctor
explained everything to Videl and Gohan.

"She's gonna be alright, I mean she is gonna fight this right?" VIdel
asked.

The doctor set her glasses on the desk. "I'll leave you for awhile,let it
all sink in, Take however time you need" She told them as she left the
room.

"Videl, Pan is a saiyan, she is a fighter, a cancer like leukemia isn't
gonna keep her down for long" Gohan tried to reason, but he too was
scared, scared that the cancer will take his little girl from him.

***************************

In waiting room.

The doctor walked passed Goten and Trunks. Goten stopped her, "How's Pan
Son"

"I think you better let your brother tell you that" She looked at Trunks,
"Who are you?"

"I'm Trunks Briefs a good friend of Pan Son"

The doctor nodded. "I see"

"Can we see her?" Goten asked.

"Of course, but one at a time, and she's feeling a bit groggy." She said
as she continued to do her rounds.

Goten placed a hand on his friends shoulder. "You go in first, I'm sure
she'd rather see you then me"

"Thanks. " Trunks said as he walked over to the door of Pan's room, he
took a deep breath and stepped inside. "Panny?" He called out.

"Trunks?" She asked. "Where am I?"

Trunks walked over to her, and sat down next to her. "You're in the
hospital, Goten brought you here."

"Goten?"

"Yeah, you collapsed in the park, and your uncle brought you here"

"Why?"

"I don't know." He bent down and kisse her on the cheek, "I'm so glad your
alright though, I thought I lost you"

Just then Videl and Gohan walked in. "Trunks?"

Trunks turned around. "Videl, What's wrong with Pan?"

Videl and Gohan walked over to Pan's bedside, both Trunks and Goten were
standing by the door.

"Mama, what's wrong with me?" Pan asked.

"Oh, baby, I'm so sorry" Videl started to cry.

"Mama, Papa, what's wrong"

Gohan took a deep breath, "Pan,sweetie you have leukemia"

"What's that?"

"It's a cancer" Gohan explained.

As Gohan was explaining to Pan, what leukemia was, Trunks had started to
feel sick and left the room. Goten went after him.

"Trunks wait" Goten rushed after him, however Trunks didn't get to far, he
sat down in a chair as he tried to regain his thoughts.

"She's got Leukemia, man she could die" Trunks bluntly said.

"I know, I'm freaked out as well, I feel helpless all of the sudden"

"Goten, Trunks" Goten and Trunks turned around and saw their "Girlfriends"
standing there.

"Marron?" Trunks asked.

"Bra?" Goten was confused.

"What's going on?" Bra asked.

"Will Trunks and Goten tell them about Pan? If so, how will they react?
